KJV ⁵ Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

KJV ⁶ For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

KJV ⁷ He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.

KJV ⁸ He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.

MAR ⁸ Pour garder les sentiers de jugement ; [tellement qu'] il gardera la voie de ses bien-aimés.

KJV ⁹ Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.

KJV ¹⁰ When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;

WLC ¹⁰ כִּֽי־ תָב֣וֹא חָכְמָ֣ה בְלִבֶּ֑ךָ וְ֝דַ֗עַת לְֽנַפְשְׁךָ֥ יִנְעָֽם׃

KJV ¹¹ Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:

MAR ¹¹ La prudence te conservera, et l'intelligence te gardera ;

WLC ¹¹ מְ֭זִמָּה תִּשְׁמֹ֥ר עָלֶ֗יךָ תְּבוּנָ֥ה תִנְצְרֶֽכָּה׃

KJV ¹² To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;

MAR ¹² Pour te délivrer du mauvais chemin, et de l'homme prononçant de mauvais discours.

WLC ¹² לְ֭הַצִּ֣ילְךָ מִדֶּ֣רֶךְ רָ֑ע מֵ֝אִ֗ישׁ מְדַבֵּ֥ר תַּהְפֻּכֽוֹת׃

KJV ¹³ Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;

MAR ¹³ De ceux qui laissent les chemins de la droiture pour marcher par les voies de ténèbres ;

WLC ¹³ הַ֭עֹ֣זְבִים אָרְח֣וֹת יֹ֑שֶׁר לָ֝לֶ֗כֶת בְּדַרְכֵי־ חֹֽשֶׁךְ׃

KJV ¹⁴ Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked;

MAR ¹⁴ Qui se réjouissent à mal faire, et s'égayent dans les renversements que fait le méchant.

WLC ¹⁴ הַ֭שְּׂמֵחִים לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת רָ֑ע יָ֝גִ֗ילוּ בְּֽתַהְפֻּכ֥וֹת רָֽע׃

KJV ¹⁵ Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths:

MAR ¹⁵ Desquels les chemins sont tortus, et qui vont de travers en leur train.

WLC ¹⁵ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אָרְחֹתֵיהֶ֣ם עִקְּשִׁ֑ים וּ֝נְלוֹזִ֗ים בְּמַעְגְּלוֹתָֽם׃
