KJV ¹ My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

WLC ¹ לַ֭מְנַצֵּחַ עַל־ אַיֶּ֥לֶת הַשַּׁ֗חַר מִזְמ֥וֹר לְדָוִֽד׃

KJV ² O my God, I cry in the day time, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.

LSG ² (22:3) Mon Dieu ! je crie le jour, et tu ne réponds pas ; La nuit, et je n'ai point de repos.

WLC ² אֵלִ֣י אֵ֭לִי לָמָ֣ה עֲזַבְתָּ֑נִי רָח֥וֹק מִֽ֝ישׁוּעָתִ֗י דִּבְרֵ֥י שַׁאֲגָתִֽי׃

KJV ³ But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

LSG ³ (22:4) Pourtant tu es le Saint, Tu sièges au milieu des louanges d'Israël.

WLC ³ אֱ‍ֽלֹהַ֗י אֶקְרָ֣א י֭וֹמָם וְלֹ֣א תַעֲנֶ֑ה וְ֝לַ֗יְלָה וְֽלֹא־ דֽוּמִיָּ֥ה לִֽי׃

KJV ⁴ Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.

LSG ⁴ (22:5) En toi se confiaient nos pères ; Ils se confiaient, et tu les délivrais.

WLC ⁴ וְאַתָּ֥ה קָד֑וֹשׁ י֝וֹשֵׁ֗ב תְּהִלּ֥וֹת יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

KJV ⁵ They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.

LSG ⁵ (22:6) Ils criaient à toi, et ils étaient sauvés ; Ils se confiaient en toi, et ils n'étaient point confus.

WLC ⁵ בְּ֭ךָ בָּטְח֣וּ אֲבֹתֵ֑ינוּ בָּ֝טְח֗וּ וַֽתְּפַלְּטֵֽמוֹ׃

KJV ⁶ But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

LSG ⁶ (22:7) Et moi, je suis un ver et non un homme, L'opprobre des hommes et le méprisé du peuple.

WLC ⁶ אֵלֶ֣יךָ זָעֲק֣וּ וְנִמְלָ֑טוּ בְּךָ֖ בָטְח֣וּ וְלֹא־ בֽוֹשׁוּ׃

KJV ⁷ All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,

LSG ⁷ (22:8) Tous ceux qui me voient se moquent de moi, Ils ouvrent la bouche, secouent la tête:

WLC ⁷ וְאָנֹכִ֣י תוֹלַ֣עַת וְלֹא־ אִ֑ישׁ חֶרְפַּ֥ת אָ֝דָ֗ם וּבְז֥וּי עָֽם׃

KJV ⁸ He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.

LSG ⁸ (22:9) Recommande-toi à l'Éternel ! L'Éternel le sauvera, Il le délivrera, puisqu'il l'aime ! -

WLC ⁸ כָּל־ רֹ֭אַי יַלְעִ֣גוּ לִ֑י יַפְטִ֥ירוּ בְ֝שָׂפָ֗ה יָנִ֥יעוּ רֹֽאשׁ׃

KJV ⁹ But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.

LSG ⁹ (22:10) Oui, tu m'as fait sortir du sein maternel, Tu m'as mis en sûreté sur les mamelles de ma mère ;

WLC ⁹ גֹּ֣ל אֶל־ יְהוָ֣ה יְפַלְּטֵ֑הוּ יַ֝צִּילֵ֗הוּ כִּ֘י חָ֥פֵֽץ בּֽוֹ׃

KJV ¹⁰ I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.

LSG ¹⁰ (22:11) Dès le sein maternel j'ai été sous ta garde, Dès le ventre de ma mère tu as été mon Dieu.

WLC ¹⁰ כִּֽי־ אַתָּ֣ה גֹחִ֣י מִבָּ֑טֶן מַ֝בְטִיחִ֗י עַל־ שְׁדֵ֥י אִמִּֽי׃
