KJV ² O my God, I cry in the day time, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.

NEG ² Mon Dieu! mon Dieu! pourquoi m'as-tu abandonné,
Et t'éloignes-tu sans me secourir, sans écouter mes plaintes?

KJV ³ But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

NEG ³ Mon Dieu! je crie le jour, et tu ne réponds pas;
La nuit, et je n'ai point de repos.

KJV ⁴ Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.

NEG ⁴ Pourtant tu es le Saint,
Tu sièges au milieu des louanges d'Israël.

KJV ⁵ They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.

NEG ⁵ En toi se confiaient nos pères;
Ils se confiaient, et tu les délivrais.

KJV ⁶ But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

NEG ⁶ Ils criaient à toi, et ils étaient sauvés;
Ils se confiaient en toi, et ils n'étaient point confus.

KJV ⁷ All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,

NEG ⁷ Et moi, je suis un ver et non un homme,
L'opprobre des hommes et le méprisé du peuple.

KJV ⁸ He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.

NEG ⁸ Tous ceux qui me voient se moquent de moi,
Ils ouvrent la bouche, secouent la tête:

KJV ⁹ But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.

NEG ⁹ Recommande-toi à l'Eternel!
L'Eternel le sauvera,
Il le délivrera, puisqu'il l'aime!

KJV ¹⁰ I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.

NEG ¹⁰ Oui, tu m'as fait sortir du sein maternel,
Tu m'as mis en sûreté sur les mamelles de ma mère;
