   ¹ Au maître chantre Des fils de Koré. Pour voix de soprano. Cantique.
   ² Dieu est pour nous refuge et force,
Dans la détresse un secours toujours prêt.
   ³ C'est pourquoi nous ne craindrons point,
Quand même la terre serait bouleversée,
Et que les montagnes chancelleraient au coeur des mers.
   ⁴ Que les flots mugissent et jettent leur écume,
Que les montagnes soient ébranlées par le soulèvement des vagues...
[L'Eternel des armées est avec nous,
Le Dieu de Jacob est notre haute retraite.]

   ⁵ Il est un fleuve dont les bras réjouissent la cité de Dieu,
Ce lieu saint des demeures du Très-Haut.

   ¹ God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. ² Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; ³ Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. ⁴ There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. ⁵ God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
