KJV ⁷ Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?

S21 ⁷ Je me souviens de mes chants pendant la nuit,
je médite dans mon cœur,
et mon esprit s'interroge:

WLC ⁷ אֶֽזְכְּרָ֥ה נְגִינָתִ֗י בַּ֫לָּ֥יְלָה עִם־ לְבָבִ֥י אָשִׂ֑יחָה וַיְחַפֵּ֥שׂ רוּחִֽי׃

KJV ⁸ Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore?

S21 ⁸ «Le Seigneur me rejettera-t-il pour toujours?
Ne se montrera-t-il plus favorable?

WLC ⁸ הַֽ֭לְעוֹלָמִים יִזְנַ֥ח ׀ אֲדֹנָ֑י וְלֹֽא־ יֹסִ֖יף לִרְצ֣וֹת עֽוֹד׃

KJV ⁹ Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.

S21 ⁹ Sa bonté est-elle définitivement épuisée?
Sa parole a-t-elle disparu pour l'éternité?

WLC ⁹ הֶאָפֵ֣ס לָנֶ֣צַח חַסְדּ֑וֹ גָּ֥מַר אֹ֝֗מֶר לְדֹ֣ר וָדֹֽר׃

KJV ¹⁰ And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.

S21 ¹⁰ Dieu a-t-il oublié de faire grâce?
A-t-il, dans sa colère, retiré sa compassion?»         – Pause.

WLC ¹⁰ הֲשָׁכַ֣ח חַנּ֣וֹת אֵ֑ל אִם־ קָפַ֥ץ בְּ֝אַ֗ף רַחֲמָ֥יו סֶֽלָה׃

KJV ¹¹ I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.

S21 ¹¹ Je me dis: «Ce qui fait ma souffrance,
c'est que la main droite du Très-Haut n'est plus la même.»

WLC ¹¹ וָ֭אֹמַר חַלּ֣וֹתִי הִ֑יא שְׁ֝נ֗וֹת יְמִ֣ין עֶלְיֽוֹן׃
