²⁰ Et elle leur dit : Ne m'appelez pas Noomi ; appelez-moi Mara, car le Tout-Puissant m'a remplie d'amertume. ²¹ Je m'en suis allée comblée de biens, et l'Eternel me ramène à vide. Pourquoi m'appelleriez-vous Noomi, quand l'Eternel a témoigné contre moi et que le Tout-Puissant m'a rendue malheureuse ?

²⁰ And she said unto them, Call me not Naomi, call me Mara: for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me. ²¹ I went out full and the LORD hath brought me home again empty: why then call ye me Naomi, seeing the LORD hath testified against me, and the Almighty hath afflicted me?
