BCC ⁹ Ainsi parle Yahweh des armées : que vos mains se fortifient, vous qui entendez en ces jours ces paroles de la bouche des prophètes qui ont parlé au jour où fut fondée la maison de Yahweh des armées, pour que le temple soit rebâti.

KJV ⁹ Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.

WLC ⁹ כֹּֽה־ אָמַר֮ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָאוֹת֒ תֶּחֱזַ֣קְנָה יְדֵיכֶ֔ם הַשֹּֽׁמְעִים֙ בַּיָּמִ֣ים הָאֵ֔לֶּה אֵ֖ת הַדְּבָרִ֣ים הָאֵ֑לֶּה מִפִּי֙ הַנְּבִיאִ֔ים אֲ֠שֶׁר בְּי֞וֹם יֻסַּ֨ד בֵּית־ יְהוָ֧ה צְבָא֛וֹת הַהֵיכָ֖ל לְהִבָּנֽוֹת׃

BCC ¹⁰ Car, avant ces jours-là, il n'y avait point de salaire pour les hommes, point de salaire pour le bétail, point de sûreté contre l'ennemi pour ceux qui sortaient et entraient, et j'avais lâché tous les hommes les uns contre les autres.

KJV ¹⁰ For before these days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast; neither was there any peace to him that went out or came in because of the affliction: for I set all men every one against his neighbour.

WLC ¹⁰ כִּ֗י לִפְנֵי֙ הַיָּמִ֣ים הָהֵ֔ם שְׂכַ֤ר הָֽאָדָם֙ לֹ֣א נִֽהְיָ֔ה וּשְׂכַ֥ר הַבְּהֵמָ֖ה אֵינֶ֑נָּה וְלַיּוֹצֵ֨א וְלַבָּ֤א אֵין־ שָׁלוֹם֙ מִן־ הַצָּ֔ר וַאֲשַׁלַּ֥ח אֶת־ כָּל־ הָאָדָ֖ם אִ֥ישׁ בְּרֵעֵֽהוּ׃

BCC ¹¹ Mais maintenant, je ne suis plus, moi, à l'égard du reste de ce peuple comme aux jours d'autrefois, ‒ oracle de Yahweh des armées.

KJV ¹¹ But now I will not be unto the residue of this people as in the former days, saith the LORD of hosts.

WLC ¹¹ וְעַתָּ֗ה לֹ֣א כַיָּמִ֤ים הָרִֽאשֹׁנִים֙ אֲנִ֔י לִשְׁאֵרִ֖ית הָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֑ה נְאֻ֖ם יְהוָ֥ה צְבָאֽוֹת׃

BCC ¹² Car la semence prospérera, la vigne donnera son fruit, la terre donnera ses produits, les cieux donneront leur rosée, et je mettrai le reste de ce peuple en possession de toutes ces choses.

KJV ¹² For the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things.

WLC ¹² כִּֽי־ זֶ֣רַע הַשָּׁל֗וֹם הַגֶּ֜פֶן תִּתֵּ֤ן פִּרְיָהּ֙ וְהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ תִּתֵּ֣ן אֶת־ יְבוּלָ֔הּ וְהַשָּׁמַ֖יִם יִתְּנ֣וּ טַלָּ֑ם וְהִנְחַלְתִּ֗י אֶת־ שְׁאֵרִ֛ית הָעָ֥ם הַזֶּ֖ה אֶת־ כָּל־ אֵֽלֶּה׃

BCC ¹³ Et il arrivera : comme vous avez été malédiction parmi les mations, maison de Juda et maison d'Israël, ainsi je vous délivrerai, et vous serez bénédiction ! Ne craignez point, que vos mains se fortifient !

KJV ¹³ And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong.

BCC ¹⁴ Car ainsi parle Yahweh des armées : comme J'ai eu le dessein de vous faire du mal lorsque vos pères provoquaient ma colère, dit Yahweh des armées, et que je ne m'en suis pas repenti,

KJV ¹⁴ For thus saith the LORD of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the LORD of hosts, and I repented not:

WLC ¹⁴ כִּ֣י כֹ֣ה אָמַר֮ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָאוֹת֒ כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר זָמַמְ֜תִּי לְהָרַ֣ע לָכֶ֗ם בְּהַקְצִ֤יף אֲבֹֽתֵיכֶם֙ אֹתִ֔י אָמַ֖ר יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֑וֹת וְלֹ֖א נִחָֽמְתִּי׃

BCC ¹⁵ ainsi j'ai en ces jours-ci, au contraire, le dessein de faire du bien à Jérusalem et à la maison de Juda ; ne craignez point !

KJV ¹⁵ So again have I thought in these days to do well unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.

WLC ¹⁶ אֵ֥לֶּה הַדְּבָרִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר תַּֽעֲשׂ֑וּ דַּבְּר֤וּ אֱמֶת֙ אִ֣ישׁ אֶת־ רֵעֵ֔הוּ אֱמֶת֙ וּמִשְׁפַּ֣ט שָׁל֔וֹם שִׁפְט֖וּ בְּשַׁעֲרֵיכֶֽם׃

BCC ¹⁷ ne méditez pas dans vos coeurs le mal les uns des autres ; et n'aimez pas le faux serment ; car ce sont là toutes choses que je hais, ‒ oracle de Yahweh.

KJV ¹⁷ And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD.

WLC ¹⁷ וְאִ֣ישׁ ׀ אֶת־ רָעַ֣ת רֵעֵ֗הוּ אַֽל־ תַּחְשְׁבוּ֙ בִּלְבַבְכֶ֔ם וּשְׁבֻ֥עַת שֶׁ֖קֶר אַֽל־ תֶּאֱהָ֑בוּ כִּ֧י אֶת־ כָּל־ אֵ֛לֶּה אֲשֶׁ֥ר שָׂנֵ֖אתִי נְאֻם־ יְהוָֽה׃
