Ex 1:1-7 (King James)

¹ Now these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt; every man and his household came with Jacob.
² Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah,
³ Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin,
⁴ Dan, and Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
⁵ And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls: for Joseph was in Egypt already.
⁶ And Joseph died, and all his brethren, and all that generation.
⁷ And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them.

¹ Voici les noms des fils d'Israël, venus en Égypte avec Jacob et la famille de chacun d'eux:
² Ruben, Siméon, Lévi, Juda,
³ Issacar, Zabulon, Benjamin,
⁴ Dan, Nephthali, Gad et Aser.
⁵ Les personnes issues de Jacob étaient au nombre de soixante-dix en tout. Joseph était alors en Égypte.
⁶ Joseph mourut, ainsi que tous ses frères et toute cette génération-là.
⁷ Les enfants d'Israël furent féconds et multiplièrent, ils s'accrurent et devinrent de plus en plus puissants. Et le pays en fut rempli.

⁵ Erant igitur omnes animæ eorum qui egressi sunt de femore Jacob, septuaginta : Joseph autem in Ægypto erat.
⁶ Quo mortuo, et universis fratribus ejus, omnique cognatione illa,
⁷ filii Israël creverunt, et quasi germinantes multiplicati sunt : ac roborati nimis, impleverunt terram.
