Mt 17:1-13 (Darby)

¹ Et après six jours, Jésus prend avec lui Pierre, et Jacques, et Jean son frère, et les mène à l'écart sur une haute montagne.
² Et il fut transfiguré devant eux ; et son visage resplendit comme le soleil, et ses vêtements devinrent blancs comme la lumière.
³ Et voici, Moïse et Élie leur apparurent, parlant avec lui.
⁴ Et Pierre, répondant, dit à Jésus : Seigneur, il est bon que nous soyons ici ; si tu le veux, faisons ici trois tentes : une pour toi, et une pour Moïse, et une pour Élie.
⁵ Comme il parlait encore, voici, une nuée lumineuse les couvrit* ; et voici une voix de la nuée, disant : Celui-ci est mon fils bien-aimé, en qui j'ai trouvé mon plaisir ; écoutez-le.
⁶ Ce que les disciples ayant entendu, ils tombèrent le visage contre terre et furent saisis d'une très grande peur.
⁷ Et Jésus, s'approchant, les toucha, et dit : Levez-vous, et n'ayez point de peur.
⁸ Et eux, levant leurs yeux, ne virent personne que Jésus seul.
⁹ Et comme ils descendaient de la montagne, Jésus leur enjoignit, disant : Ne dites à personne la vision, jusqu'à ce que le fils de l'homme soit ressuscité d'entre les morts.
¹⁰ Et ses disciples l'interrogèrent, disant : Pourquoi donc les scribes disent-ils qu'il faut qu'Élie vienne premièrement ?
¹¹ Et lui, répondant, leur dit : En effet, Élie vient premièrement, et il rétablira toutes choses ;
¹² mais je vous dis qu'Élie est déjà venu, et ils ne l'ont pas reconnu ; mais ils lui ont fait tout ce qu'ils ont voulu ; ainsi aussi le fils de l'homme va souffrir de leur part.
¹³ Alors les disciples comprirent qu'il leur parlait de Jean le baptiseur.

¹ And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
² And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
³ And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.
⁴ Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
⁵ While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
⁶ And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.
⁷ And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.
⁸ And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.
⁹ And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.
¹⁰ And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?
¹¹ And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.
¹² But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.
¹³ Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

¹ καὶ μεθ᾽ ἡμέρας ἓξ παραλαμβάνει ὁ ἰησοῦς τὸν πέτρον καὶ ἰάκωβον καὶ ἰωάννην τὸν ἀδελφὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀναφέρει αὐτοὺς εἰς ὄρος ὑψηλὸν κατ᾽ ἰδίαν
² καὶ μετεμορφώθη ἔμπροσθεν αὐτῶν καὶ ἔλαμψεν τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ ὡς ὁ ἥλιος τὰ δὲ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ ἐγένετο λευκὰ ὡς τὸ φῶς
³ καὶ ἰδού ὤφθησαν αὐτοῖς μωσῆς καὶ ἠλίας μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ συλλαλοῦντες
⁴ ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ ὁ πέτρος εἰπεν τῷ ἰησοῦ κύριε καλόν ἐστιν ἡμᾶς ὧδε εἶναι εἰ θέλεις ποιήσωμεν ὧδε τρεῖς σκηνάς σοὶ μίαν καὶ μωσῇ μίαν καὶ μίαν ἠλίᾳ
⁵ ἔτι αὐτοῦ λαλοῦντος ἰδού νεφέλη φωτεινὴ ἐπεσκίασεν αὐτούς καὶ ἰδού φωνὴ ἐκ τῆς νεφέλης λέγουσα οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ υἱός μου ὁ ἀγαπητός ἐν ᾧ εὐδόκησα αὐτοῦ ἀκούετε
⁶ καὶ ἀκούσαντες οἱ μαθηταὶ ἔπεσον ἐπὶ πρόσωπον αὐτῶν καὶ ἐφοβήθησαν σφόδρα
⁷ καὶ προσελθὼν ὁ ἰησοῦς ἥψατο αὐτῶν καὶ εἶπεν ἐγέρθητε καὶ μὴ φοβεῖσθε
⁸ ἐπάραντες δὲ τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς αὐτῶν οὐδένα εἶδον εἰ μὴ τὸν ἰησοῦν μόνον
⁹ καὶ καταβαινόντων αὐτῶν ἀπὸ τοῦ ὄρους ἐνετείλατο αὐτοῖς ὁ ἰησοῦς λέγων μηδενὶ εἴπητε τὸ ὅραμα ἕως οὗ ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐκ νεκρῶν ἀναστῇ
¹⁰ καὶ ἐπηρώτησαν αὐτὸν οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ λέγοντες τί οὖν οἱ γραμματεῖς λέγουσιν ὅτι ἠλίαν δεῖ ἐλθεῖν πρῶτον
¹¹ ὁ δὲ ἰησοῦς ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ἠλίας μὲν ἔρχεται πρῶτον καὶ ἀποκαταστήσει πάντα
¹² λέγω δὲ ὑμῖν ὅτι ἠλίας ἤδη ἦλθεν καὶ οὐκ ἐπέγνωσαν αὐτὸν ἀλλ᾽ ἐποίησαν ἐν αὐτῷ ὅσα ἠθέλησαν οὕτως καὶ ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου μέλλει πάσχειν ὑπ᾽ αὐτῶν
¹³ τότε συνῆκαν οἱ μαθηταὶ ὅτι περὶ ἰωάννου τοῦ βαπτιστοῦ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς
