BCC ⁷ Mais tous n'ont pas cette connaissance. Quelques-uns, conservant encore leur ancienne manière d'envisager l'idole, mangent de ces viandes comme ayant été immolées à une idole, et leur conscience, qui est faible, se trouve souillée.

KJV ⁷ Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.

BCC ¹⁰ Car si quelqu'un te voit, toi qui es un homme éclairé, assis à table dans un temple d'idoles, sa conscience, à lui qui est faible, ne le portera-t-elle pas à manger des viandes immolées aux idoles ?

KJV ¹⁰ For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;

BCC ¹¹ Et ainsi se perd le faible par ta science, ce frère pour lequel le Christ est mort !

KJV ¹¹ And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?

BCC ¹² En péchant de la sorte contre vos frères, et en violentant leur conscience encore faible, vous péchez contre le Christ.
