⁴ car les armes de notre guerre ne sont pas charnelles, mais puissantes par Dieu* pour la destruction des forteresses, ⁵ détruisant les raisonnements et toute hauteur qui s'élève contre la connaissance de Dieu, et amenant toute pensée captive à l'obéissance du Christ, ⁶ et étant prêts à tirer vengeance de toute désobéissance, après que votre obéissance aura été rendue complète.

⁴ (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) ⁵ Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; ⁶ And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
