KJV ¹² At that time Berodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present unto Hezekiah: for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick.

KJV ¹³ And Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and shewed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not.

NEG ¹³ Ezéchias donna audience aux envoyés, et il leur montra le lieu où étaient ses objets précieux, l'argent et l'or, les aromates et l'huile précieuse, son arsenal, et tout ce qui se trouvait dans ses trésors: il n'y eut rien qu'Ezéchias ne leur montre dans sa maison et dans tous ses domaines.

WLC ¹³ וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע עֲלֵיהֶם֮ חִזְקִיָּהוּ֒ וַיַּרְאֵ֣ם אֶת־ כָּל־ בֵּ֣ית נְכֹתֹ֡ה אֶת־ הַכֶּסֶף֩ וְאֶת־ הַזָּהָ֨ב וְאֶת־ הַבְּשָׂמִ֜ים וְאֵ֣ת ׀ שֶׁ֣מֶן הַטּ֗וֹב וְאֵת֙ בֵּ֣ית כֵּלָ֔יו וְאֵ֛ת כָּל־ אֲשֶׁ֥ר נִמְצָ֖א בְּאֽוֹצְרֹתָ֑יו לֹֽא־ הָיָ֣ה דָבָ֗ר אֲ֠שֶׁר לֹֽא־ הֶרְאָ֧ם חִזְקִיָּ֛הוּ בְּבֵית֖וֹ וּבְכָל־ מֶמְשַׁלְתּֽוֹ׃

KJV ¹⁴ Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country, even from Babylon.

NEG ¹⁴ Esaïe, le prophète, vint ensuite auprès du roi Ezéchias, et lui dit: Qu'ont dit ces gens-là, et d'où sont-ils venus vers toi? Ezéchias répondit: Ils sont venus d'un pays éloigné, de Babylone.

WLC ¹⁴ וַיָּבֹא֙ יְשַֽׁעְיָ֣הוּ הַנָּבִ֔יא אֶל־ הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ חִזְקִיָּ֑הוּ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֵלָ֜יו מָ֥ה אָמְר֣וּ ׀ הָאֲנָשִׁ֣ים הָאֵ֗לֶּה וּמֵאַ֙יִן֙ יָבֹ֣אוּ אֵלֶ֔יךָ וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ חִזְקִיָּ֔הוּ מֵאֶ֧רֶץ רְחוֹקָ֛ה בָּ֖אוּ מִבָּבֶֽל׃

KJV ¹⁵ And he said, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All the things that are in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them.

NEG ¹⁵ Esaïe dit encore: Qu'ont-ils vu dans ta maison? Ezéchias répondit: Ils ont vu tout ce qui est dans ma maison: il n'y a rien dans mes trésors que je ne leur aie montré.

WLC ¹⁵ וַיֹּ֕אמֶר מָ֥ה רָא֖וּ בְּבֵיתֶ֑ךָ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר חִזְקִיָּ֗הוּ אֵ֣ת כָּל־ אֲשֶׁ֤ר בְּבֵיתִי֙ רָא֔וּ לֹא־ הָיָ֥ה דָבָ֛ר אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא־ הִרְאִיתִ֖ם בְּאֹצְרֹתָֽי׃

KJV ¹⁶ And Isaiah said unto Hezekiah, Hear the word of the LORD.

NEG ¹⁶ Alors Esaïe dit à Ezéchias: Ecoute la parole de l'Eternel!

WLC ¹⁶ וַיֹּ֥אמֶר יְשַׁעְיָ֖הוּ אֶל־ חִזְקִיָּ֑הוּ שְׁמַ֖ע דְּבַר־ יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ¹⁷ Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried into Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.

NEG ¹⁷ Voici, les temps viendront où l'on emportera à Babylone tout ce qui est dans ta maison et ce que tes pères ont amassé jusqu'à ce jour; il n'en restera rien, dit l'Eternel.

WLC ¹⁷ הִנֵּה֮ יָמִ֣ים בָּאִים֒ וְנִשָּׂ֣א ׀ כָּל־ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּבֵיתֶ֗ךָ וַאֲשֶׁ֨ר אָצְר֧וּ אֲבֹתֶ֛יךָ עַד־ הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּ֖ה בָּבֶ֑לָה לֹֽא־ יִוָּתֵ֥ר דָּבָ֖ר אָמַ֥ר יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ¹⁸ And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.

NEG ¹⁸ Et l'on prendra de tes fils, qui seront sortis de toi, que tu auras engendrés, pour en faire des eunuques dans le palais du roi de Babylone.

WLC ¹⁸ וּמִבָּנֶ֜יךָ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יֵצְא֧וּ מִמְּךָ֛ אֲשֶׁ֥ר תּוֹלִ֖יד וְהָיוּ֙ סָֽרִיסִ֔ים בְּהֵיכַ֖ל מֶ֥לֶךְ בָּבֶֽל׃

KJV ¹⁹ Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. And he said, Is it not good, if peace and truth be in my days?

NEG ¹⁹ Ezéchias répondit à Esaïe: La parole de l'Eternel, que tu as prononcée, est bonne. Et il ajouta: N'y aura-t-il pas paix et sécurité pendant ma vie?

WLC ¹⁹ וַיֹּ֤אמֶר חִזְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙ אֶֽל־ יְשַֽׁעְיָ֔הוּ ט֥וֹב דְּבַר־ יְהוָ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר דִּבַּ֑רְתָּ וַיֹּ֕אמֶר הֲל֛וֹא אִם־ שָׁל֥וֹם וֶאֱמֶ֖ת יִהְיֶ֥ה בְיָמָֽי׃

KJV ²⁰ And the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made a pool, and a conduit, and brought water into the city, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

NEG ²⁰ Le reste des actions d'Ezéchias, tous ses exploits, et comment il fit l'étang et l'aqueduc, et amena les eaux dans la ville, cela n'est-il pas écrit dans le livre des Chroniques des rois de Juda?

WLC ²⁰ וְיֶ֨תֶר דִּבְרֵ֤י חִזְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙ וְכָל־ גְּב֣וּרָת֔וֹ וַאֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשָׂ֗ה אֶת־ הַבְּרֵכָה֙ וְאֶת־ הַתְּעָלָ֔ה וַיָּבֵ֥א אֶת־ הַמַּ֖יִם הָעִ֑ירָה הֲלֹא־ הֵ֣ם כְּתוּבִ֗ים עַל־ סֵ֛פֶר דִּבְרֵ֥י הַיָּמִ֖ים לְמַלְכֵ֥י יְהוּדָֽה׃

KJV ²¹ And Hezekiah slept with his fathers: and Manasseh his son reigned in his stead.

NEG ²¹ Ezéchias se coucha avec ses pères. Et Manassé, son fils, régna à sa place.

WLC ²¹ וַיִּשְׁכַּ֥ב חִזְקִיָּ֖הוּ עִם־ אֲבֹתָ֑יו וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ מְנַשֶּׁ֥ה בְנ֖וֹ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃
