KJV 12 At that time Berodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present unto Hezekiah: for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick.

VULC 12 In tempore illo misit Berodach Baladan, filius Baladan, rex Babyloniorum, litteras et munera ad Ezechiam : audierat enim quod ægrotasset Ezechias.

WLC 12 בָּעֵ֣ת הַהִ֡יא שָׁלַ֡ח בְּרֹאדַ֣ךְ בַּ֠לְאֲדָן בֶּֽן־ בַּלְאֲדָ֧ן מֶֽלֶךְ־ בָּבֶ֛ל סְפָרִ֥ים וּמִנְחָ֖ה אֶל־ חִזְקִיָּ֑הוּ כִּ֣י שָׁמַ֔ע כִּ֥י חָלָ֖ה חִזְקִיָּֽהוּ׃

KJV 13 And Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and shewed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not.

VULC 13 Lætatus est autem in adventu eorum Ezechias, et ostendit eis domum aromatum, et aurum et argentum, et pigmenta varia, unguenta quoque, et domum vasorum suorum, et omnia quæ habere poterat in thesauris suis. Non fuit quod non monstraret eis Ezechias in domo sua, et in omni potestate sua.

WLC 13 וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע עֲלֵיהֶם֮ חִזְקִיָּהוּ֒ וַיַּרְאֵ֣ם אֶת־ כָּל־ בֵּ֣ית נְכֹתֹ֡ה אֶת־ הַכֶּסֶף֩ וְאֶת־ הַזָּהָ֨ב וְאֶת־ הַבְּשָׂמִ֜ים וְאֵ֣ת ׀ שֶׁ֣מֶן הַטּ֗וֹב וְאֵת֙ בֵּ֣ית כֵּלָ֔יו וְאֵ֛ת כָּל־ אֲשֶׁ֥ר נִמְצָ֖א בְּאֽוֹצְרֹתָ֑יו לֹֽא־ הָיָ֣ה דָבָ֗ר אֲ֠שֶׁר לֹֽא־ הֶרְאָ֧ם חִזְקִיָּ֛הוּ בְּבֵית֖וֹ וּבְכָל־ מֶמְשַׁלְתּֽוֹ׃

KJV 14 Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country, even from Babylon.

VULC 14 Venit autem Isaias propheta ad regem Ezechiam, dixitque ei : Quid dixerunt viri isti ? aut unde venerunt ad te ? Cui ait Ezechias : De terra longinqua venerunt ad me, de Babylone.

WLC 14 וַיָּבֹא֙ יְשַֽׁעְיָ֣הוּ הַנָּבִ֔יא אֶל־ הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ חִזְקִיָּ֑הוּ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֵלָ֜יו מָ֥ה אָמְר֣וּ ׀ הָאֲנָשִׁ֣ים הָאֵ֗לֶּה וּמֵאַ֙יִן֙ יָבֹ֣אוּ אֵלֶ֔יךָ וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ חִזְקִיָּ֔הוּ מֵאֶ֧רֶץ רְחוֹקָ֛ה בָּ֖אוּ מִבָּבֶֽל׃

KJV 15 And he said, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All the things that are in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them.

VULC 15 At ille respondit : Quid viderunt in domo tua ? Ait Ezechias : Omnia quæcumque sunt in domo mea, viderunt : nihil est quod non monstraverim eis in thesauris meis.

WLC 15 וַיֹּ֕אמֶר מָ֥ה רָא֖וּ בְּבֵיתֶ֑ךָ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר חִזְקִיָּ֗הוּ אֵ֣ת כָּל־ אֲשֶׁ֤ר בְּבֵיתִי֙ רָא֔וּ לֹא־ הָיָ֥ה דָבָ֛ר אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא־ הִרְאִיתִ֖ם בְּאֹצְרֹתָֽי׃

KJV 16 And Isaiah said unto Hezekiah, Hear the word of the LORD.

VULC 16 Dixit itaque Isaias Ezechiæ : Audi sermonem Domini :

WLC 16 וַיֹּ֥אמֶר יְשַׁעְיָ֖הוּ אֶל־ חִזְקִיָּ֑הוּ שְׁמַ֖ע דְּבַר־ יְהוָֽה׃

KJV 17 Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried into Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.

VULC 17 Ecce dies venient, et auferentur omnia quæ sunt in domo tua, et quæ condiderunt patres tui usque in diem hanc, in Babylonem : non remanebit quidquam, ait Dominus.

WLC 17 הִנֵּה֮ יָמִ֣ים בָּאִים֒ וְנִשָּׂ֣א ׀ כָּל־ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּבֵיתֶ֗ךָ וַאֲשֶׁ֨ר אָצְר֧וּ אֲבֹתֶ֛יךָ עַד־ הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּ֖ה בָּבֶ֑לָה לֹֽא־ יִוָּתֵ֥ר דָּבָ֖ר אָמַ֥ר יְהוָֽה׃

KJV 18 And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.

VULC 18 Sed et de filiis tuis qui egredientur ex te, quos generabis, tollentur, et erunt eunuchi in palatio regis Babylonis.

WLC 18 וּמִבָּנֶ֜יךָ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יֵצְא֧וּ מִמְּךָ֛ אֲשֶׁ֥ר תּוֹלִ֖יד וְהָיוּ֙ סָֽרִיסִ֔ים בְּהֵיכַ֖ל מֶ֥לֶךְ בָּבֶֽל׃

KJV 19 Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. And he said, Is it not good, if peace and truth be in my days?

VULC 19 Dixit Ezechias ad Isaiam : Bonus sermo Domini quem locutus es : sit pax et veritas in diebus meis.

WLC 19 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר חִזְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙ אֶֽל־ יְשַֽׁעְיָ֔הוּ ט֥וֹב דְּבַר־ יְהוָ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר דִּבַּ֑רְתָּ וַיֹּ֕אמֶר הֲל֛וֹא אִם־ שָׁל֥וֹם וֶאֱמֶ֖ת יִהְיֶ֥ה בְיָמָֽי׃

KJV 20 And the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made a pool, and a conduit, and brought water into the city, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

VULC 20 Reliqua autem sermonum Ezechiæ, et omnis fortitudo ejus, et quomodo fecerit piscinam et aquæductum, et introduxerit aquas in civitatem, nonne hæc scripta sunt in libro sermonum dierum regum Juda ?

WLC 20 וְיֶ֨תֶר דִּבְרֵ֤י חִזְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙ וְכָל־ גְּב֣וּרָת֔וֹ וַאֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשָׂ֗ה אֶת־ הַבְּרֵכָה֙ וְאֶת־ הַתְּעָלָ֔ה וַיָּבֵ֥א אֶת־ הַמַּ֖יִם הָעִ֑ירָה הֲלֹא־ הֵ֣ם כְּתוּבִ֗ים עַל־ סֵ֛פֶר דִּבְרֵ֥י הַיָּמִ֖ים לְמַלְכֵ֥י יְהוּדָֽה׃

KJV 21 And Hezekiah slept with his fathers: and Manasseh his son reigned in his stead.

VULC 21 Dormivitque Ezechias cum patribus suis, et regnavit Manasses filius ejus pro eo.

WLC 21 וַיִּשְׁכַּ֥ב חִזְקִיָּ֖הוּ עִם־ אֲבֹתָ֑יו וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ מְנַשֶּׁ֥ה בְנ֖וֹ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃
