KJV ⁷ For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;

DRB ⁸ ni n'avons mangé du pain chez personne gratuitement, mais dans la peine et le labeur, travaillant nuit et jour pour n'être à charge à aucun de vous ;

KJV ⁸ Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:

DRB ⁹ non que nous n'en ayons pas le droit, mais afin de nous donner nous-mêmes à vous pour modèle, pour que vous nous imitiez.

KJV ⁹ Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.

DRB ¹⁰ Car aussi, quand nous étions auprès de vous, nous vous avons enjoint ceci : que si quelqu'un ne veut pas travailler, qu'il ne mange pas non plus.

KJV ¹⁰ For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

DRB ¹¹ Car nous apprenons qu'il y en a quelques-uns parmi vous qui marchent dans le désordre, ne travaillant pas du tout, mais se mêlant de tout.

KJV ¹¹ For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.

DRB ¹² Mais nous enjoignons à ceux qui sont tels, et nous les exhortons dans le seigneur Jésus Christ, de manger leur propre pain en travaillant paisiblement.

KJV ¹² Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
