BAN ³⁷ Et les, fils d'Israël partirent de Ramsès pour Succoth, au nombre d'environ six cent mille piétons : les hommes, sans compter les enfants.

KJV ³⁷ And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children.

WLC ³⁷ וַיִּסְע֧וּ בְנֵֽי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל מֵרַעְמְסֵ֖ס סֻכֹּ֑תָה כְּשֵׁשׁ־ מֵא֨וֹת אֶ֧לֶף רַגְלִ֛י הַגְּבָרִ֖ים לְבַ֥ד מִטָּֽף׃

BAN ³⁸ Et ils avaient aussi avec eux une foule de gens de toute sorte et des brebis et des boeufs en troupeaux très considérables.

KJV ³⁸ And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.

WLC ³⁸ וְגַם־ עֵ֥רֶב רַ֖ב עָלָ֣ה אִתָּ֑ם וְצֹ֣אן וּבָקָ֔ר מִקְנֶ֖ה כָּבֵ֥ד מְאֹֽד׃

BAN ³⁹ Et ils cuisirent en galettes non levées la pâte qu'ils avaient emportée d'Egypte : car elle était sans levain parce qu'ils avaient été chassés d'Egypte et n'avaient pu tarder ; et ils n'avaient d'ailleurs pas pris de provisions.

KJV ³⁹ And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual.

WLC ³⁹ וַיֹּאפ֨וּ אֶת־ הַבָּצֵ֜ק אֲשֶׁ֨ר הוֹצִ֧יאוּ מִמִּצְרַ֛יִם עֻגֹ֥ת מַצּ֖וֹת כִּ֣י לֹ֣א חָמֵ֑ץ כִּֽי־ גֹרְשׁ֣וּ מִמִּצְרַ֗יִם וְלֹ֤א יָֽכְלוּ֙ לְהִתְמַהְמֵ֔הַּ וְגַם־ צֵדָ֖ה לֹא־ עָשׂ֥וּ לָהֶֽם׃

BAN ⁴⁰ 0r le séjour que les fils d'Israël avaient fait en Egypte était de quatre cent trente ans.

KJV ⁴⁰ Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.

WLC ⁴⁰ וּמוֹשַׁב֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר יָשְׁב֖וּ בְּמִצְרָ֑יִם שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים שָׁנָ֔ה וְאַרְבַּ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָֽה׃

BAN ⁴¹ Et au bout de quatre cent trente ans, en ce même jour-là, toutes les armées de l'Eternel sortirent du pays d'Egypte.

KJV ⁴¹ And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.

WLC ⁴¹ וַיְהִ֗י מִקֵּץ֙ שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים שָׁנָ֔ה וְאַרְבַּ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָ֑ה וַיְהִ֗י בְּעֶ֙צֶם֙ הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה יָֽצְא֛וּ כָּל־ צִבְא֥וֹת יְהוָ֖ה מֵאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃

BAN ⁴² C'est là une nuit à célébrer à l'honneur de l'Eternel parce qu'il les a fait sortir de la terre d'Egypte. Cette nuit-là appartient à l'Eternel, pour être célébrée par tous les fils d'Israël de génération en génération.

KJV ⁴² It is a night to be much observed unto the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the LORD to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations.

WLC ⁴² לֵ֣יל שִׁמֻּרִ֥ים הוּא֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה לְהוֹצִיאָ֖ם מֵאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם הֽוּא־ הַלַּ֤יְלָה הַזֶּה֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה שִׁמֻּרִ֛ים לְכָל־ בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לְדֹרֹתָֽם׃
