KJV ³⁷ And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children.

WLC ³⁷ וַיִּסְע֧וּ בְנֵֽי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל מֵרַעְמְסֵ֖ס סֻכֹּ֑תָה כְּשֵׁשׁ־ מֵא֨וֹת אֶ֧לֶף רַגְלִ֛י הַגְּבָרִ֖ים לְבַ֥ד מִטָּֽף׃

KJV ³⁸ And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.

LSG ³⁸ Une multitude de gens de toute espèce montèrent avec eux ; ils avaient aussi des troupeaux considérables de brebis et de boeufs.

WLC ³⁸ וְגַם־ עֵ֥רֶב רַ֖ב עָלָ֣ה אִתָּ֑ם וְצֹ֣אן וּבָקָ֔ר מִקְנֶ֖ה כָּבֵ֥ד מְאֹֽד׃

KJV ³⁹ And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual.

LSG ³⁹ Ils firent des gâteaux cuits sans levain avec la pâte qu'ils avaient emportée d'Égypte, et qui n'était pas levée ; car ils avaient été chassés d'Égypte, sans pouvoir tarder, et sans prendre des provisions avec eux.

WLC ³⁹ וַיֹּאפ֨וּ אֶת־ הַבָּצֵ֜ק אֲשֶׁ֨ר הוֹצִ֧יאוּ מִמִּצְרַ֛יִם עֻגֹ֥ת מַצּ֖וֹת כִּ֣י לֹ֣א חָמֵ֑ץ כִּֽי־ גֹרְשׁ֣וּ מִמִּצְרַ֗יִם וְלֹ֤א יָֽכְלוּ֙ לְהִתְמַהְמֵ֔הַּ וְגַם־ צֵדָ֖ה לֹא־ עָשׂ֥וּ לָהֶֽם׃

KJV ⁴⁰ Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.

LSG ⁴⁰ Le séjour des enfants d'Israël en Égypte fut de quatre cent trente ans.

WLC ⁴⁰ וּמוֹשַׁב֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר יָשְׁב֖וּ בְּמִצְרָ֑יִם שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים שָׁנָ֔ה וְאַרְבַּ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָֽה׃

KJV ⁴¹ And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.

LSG ⁴¹ Et au bout de quatre cent trente ans, le jour même, toutes les armées de l'Éternel sortirent du pays d'Égypte.

WLC ⁴¹ וַיְהִ֗י מִקֵּץ֙ שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים שָׁנָ֔ה וְאַרְבַּ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָ֑ה וַיְהִ֗י בְּעֶ֙צֶם֙ הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה יָֽצְא֛וּ כָּל־ צִבְא֥וֹת יְהוָ֖ה מֵאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃

KJV ⁴² It is a night to be much observed unto the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the LORD to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations.

LSG ⁴² Cette nuit sera célébrée en l'honneur de l'Éternel, parce qu'il les fit sortir du pays d'Égypte ; cette nuit sera célébrée en l'honneur de l'Éternel par tous les enfants d'Israël et par leurs descendants.

WLC ⁴² לֵ֣יל שִׁמֻּרִ֥ים הוּא֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה לְהוֹצִיאָ֖ם מֵאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם הֽוּא־ הַלַּ֤יְלָה הַזֶּה֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה שִׁמֻּרִ֛ים לְכָל־ בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לְדֹרֹתָֽם׃
