LSG ² Parle aux enfants d'Israël ; qu'ils se détournent, et qu'ils campent devant Pi Hahiroth, entre Migdol et la mer, vis-à-vis de Baal Tsephon ; c'est en face de ce lieu que vous camperez, près de la mer.

MAR ² Parle aux enfants d'Israël ; [et leur dis], qu'ils se détournent, et qu'ils se campent devant Pi-Hahiroth, entre Migdol et la mer, vis-à-vis de Bahal-Tsépnon ; vous camperez vis-à-vis de ce [lieu-là] près de la mer.

KJV ³ For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in.

LSG ³ Pharaon dira des enfants d'Israël: Ils sont égarés dans le pays ; le désert les enferme.

MAR ³ Alors Pharaon dira des enfants d'Israël : ils sont embarrassés dans le pays, le désert les a enfermés.

KJV ⁴ And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am the LORD. And they did so.

LSG ⁴ J'endurcirai le coeur de Pharaon, et il les poursuivra ; mais Pharaon et toute son armée serviront à faire éclater ma gloire, et les Égyptiens sauront que je suis l'Éternel. Et les enfants d'Israël firent ainsi.

MAR ⁴ Et j'endurcirai le coeur de Pharaon, et il vous poursuivra ; ainsi je serai glorifié en Pharaon, et en toute son armée, et les Egyptiens sauront que je suis l'Eternel ; et ils firent ainsi.

KJV ⁵ And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?

LSG ⁵ On annonça au roi d'Égypte que le peuple avait pris la fuite. Alors le coeur de Pharaon et celui de ses serviteurs furent changés à l'égard du peuple. Ils dirent: Qu'avons-nous fait, en laissant aller Israël, dont nous n'aurons plus les services ?

MAR ⁵ Or on avait rapporté au Roi d'Egypte que le peuple s'enfuyait, et le coeur de Pharaon et de ses serviteurs fut changé à l'égard du peuple, et ils dirent : qu'[est-ce que] nous avons fait, que nous ayons laissé aller Israël, en sorte qu'il ne nous servira plus ?

KJV ⁶ And he made ready his chariot, and took his people with him:

LSG ⁶ Et Pharaon attela son char, et il prit son peuple avec lui.

MAR ⁶ Alors il fit atteler son chariot, et il prit son peuple avec soi.

KJV ⁷ And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them.

LSG ⁷ Il prit six cent chars d'élite, et tous les chars de l'Égypte ; il y avait sur tous des combattants.

MAR ⁷ Il prit donc six cents chariots d'élite, et tous les chariots d'Egypte ; et il y avait des Capitaines sur tout cela.

KJV ⁸ And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand.

LSG ⁸ L'Éternel endurcit le coeur de Pharaon, roi d'Égypte, et Pharaon poursuivit les enfants d'Israël. Les enfants d'Israël étaient sortis la main levée.

MAR ⁸ Et l'Eternel endurcit le coeur de Pharaon Roi d'Egypte, qui poursuivit les enfants d'Israël. Or les enfants d'Israël étaient sortis à main levée.

KJV ⁹ But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.

LSG ⁹ Les Égyptiens les poursuivirent ; et tous les chevaux, les chars de Pharaon, ses cavaliers et son armée, les atteignirent campés près de la mer, vers Pi Hahiroth, vis-à-vis de Baal Tsephon.

MAR ⁹ Les Egyptiens donc les poursuivirent ; et tous les chevaux des chariots de Pharaon, ses gens de cheval, et son armée les atteignirent comme ils étaient campés près de la mer, vers Pi-Hahiroth vis-à-vis de Bahal-Tséphon.
