DRB ²¹ Et Moïse étendit sa main sur la mer : et l'Éternel fit aller la mer toute la nuit par un fort vent d'orient, et mit la mer à sec, et les eaux se fendirent ;

KJV ²¹ And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

WLC ²¹ וַיֵּ֨ט מֹשֶׁ֣ה אֶת־ יָדוֹ֮ עַל־ הַיָּם֒ וַיּ֣וֹלֶךְ יְהוָ֣ה ׀ אֶת־ הַ֠יָּם בְּר֨וּחַ קָדִ֤ים עַזָּה֙ כָּל־ הַלַּ֔יְלָה וַיָּ֥שֶׂם אֶת־ הַיָּ֖ם לֶחָרָבָ֑ה וַיִּבָּקְע֖וּ הַמָּֽיִם׃

DRB ²² et les fils d'Israël entrèrent au milieu de la mer à sec ; et les eaux étaient pour eux un mur à leur droite et à leur gauche.

KJV ²² And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

WLC ²² וַיָּבֹ֧אוּ בְנֵֽי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל בְּת֥וֹךְ הַיָּ֖ם בַּיַּבָּשָׁ֑ה וְהַמַּ֤יִם לָהֶם֙ חֹמָ֔ה מִֽימִינָ֖ם וּמִשְּׂמֹאלָֽם׃

DRB ²³ Et les Égyptiens les poursuivirent, et entrèrent après eux, tous les chevaux du Pharaon, ses chars et ses cavaliers, au milieu de la mer.

KJV ²³ And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.

WLC ²³ וַיִּרְדְּפ֤וּ מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ וַיָּבֹ֣אוּ אַחֲרֵיהֶ֔ם כֹּ֚ל ס֣וּס פַּרְעֹ֔ה רִכְבּ֖וֹ וּפָרָשָׁ֑יו אֶל־ תּ֖וֹךְ הַיָּֽם׃

DRB ²⁴ Et il arriva, sur la veille du matin, que l'Éternel, dans la colonne de feu et de nuée, regarda l'armée des Égyptiens, et mit en désordre l'armée des Égyptiens.

KJV ²⁴ And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,

WLC ²⁴ וַֽיְהִי֙ בְּאַשְׁמֹ֣רֶת הַבֹּ֔קֶר וַיַּשְׁקֵ֤ף יְהוָה֙ אֶל־ מַחֲנֵ֣ה מִצְרַ֔יִם בְּעַמּ֥וּד אֵ֖שׁ וְעָנָ֑ן וַיָּ֕הָם אֵ֖ת מַחֲנֵ֥ה מִצְרָֽיִם׃

DRB ²⁵ Et il ôta les roues de leurs chars et fit qu'on les menait difficilement. Et les Égyptiens dirent : Fuyons devant Israël, car l'Éternel combat pour eux contre les Égyptiens.

KJV ²⁵ And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians.

WLC ²⁵ וַיָּ֗סַר אֵ֚ת אֹפַ֣ן מַרְכְּבֹתָ֔יו וַֽיְנַהֲגֵ֖הוּ בִּכְבֵדֻ֑ת וַיֹּ֣אמֶר מִצְרַ֗יִם אָנ֙וּסָה֙ מִפְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל כִּ֣י יְהוָ֔ה נִלְחָ֥ם לָהֶ֖ם בְּמִצְרָֽיִם

DRB ²⁶ Et l'Éternel dit à Moïse : Étends ta main sur la mer, et les eaux retourneront sur les Égyptiens, sur leurs chars et sur leurs cavaliers.

KJV ²⁶ And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.

DRB ²⁷ Et Moïse étendit sa main sur la mer : et, vers le matin, la mer reprit sa force ; et les Égyptiens s'enfuirent à sa rencontre ; et l'Éternel précipita les Égyptiens au milieu de la mer.

KJV ²⁷ And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.

WLC ²⁷ וַיֵּט֩ מֹשֶׁ֨ה אֶת־ יָד֜וֹ עַל־ הַיָּ֗ם וַיָּ֨שָׁב הַיָּ֜ם לִפְנ֥וֹת בֹּ֙קֶר֙ לְאֵ֣יתָנ֔וֹ וּמִצְרַ֖יִם נָסִ֣ים לִקְרָאת֑וֹ וַיְנַעֵ֧ר יְהוָ֛ה אֶת־ מִצְרַ֖יִם בְּת֥וֹךְ הַיָּֽם׃

DRB ²⁸ Et les eaux retournèrent et couvrirent les chars et les cavaliers de toute l'armée du Pharaon qui était entrée après eux dans la mer ; il n'en resta pas même un seul.

KJV ²⁸ And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.

DRB ²⁹ Et les fils d'Israël marchèrent à sec au milieu de la mer, et les eaux étaient pour eux un mur à leur droite et à leur gauche.

KJV ²⁹ But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

WLC ²⁹ וּבְנֵ֧י יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל הָלְכ֥וּ בַיַּבָּשָׁ֖ה בְּת֣וֹךְ הַיָּ֑ם וְהַמַּ֤יִם לָהֶם֙ חֹמָ֔ה מִֽימִינָ֖ם וּמִשְּׂמֹאלָֽם

DRB ³⁰ Et l'Éternel délivra en ce jour-là Israël de la main des Égyptiens, et Israël vit les Égyptiens morts sur le rivage de la mer.

KJV ³⁰ Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore.

WLC ³⁰ וַיּ֨וֹשַׁע יְהוָ֜ה בַּיּ֥וֹם הַה֛וּא אֶת־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מִיַּ֣ד מִצְרָ֑יִם וַיַּ֤רְא יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ אֶת־ מִצְרַ֔יִם מֵ֖ת עַל־ שְׂפַ֥ת הַיָּֽם׃

DRB ³¹ Et Israël vit la grande puissance* que l'Éternel avait déployée** contre les Égyptiens ; et le peuple craignit l'Éternel, et ils crurent à l'Éternel, et à Moïse son serviteur.

KJV ³¹ And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses.

WLC ³¹ וַיַּ֨רְא יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל אֶת־ הַיָּ֣ד הַגְּדֹלָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר עָשָׂ֤ה יְהוָה֙ בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם וַיִּֽירְא֥וּ הָעָ֖ם אֶת־ יְהוָ֑ה וַיַּֽאֲמִ֙ינוּ֙ בַּֽיהוָ֔ה וּבְמֹשֶׁ֖ה עַבְדּֽוֹ׃
