Ex 17:14-16 (King James)

¹⁴ And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven. ¹⁵ And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovahnissi: ¹⁶ For he said, Because the LORD hath sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.

¹⁴ L'Eternel dit à Moïse: «Ecris cela dans le livre pour qu'on s'en souvienne et déclare à Josué que j'effacerai le souvenir d'Amalek de dessous le ciel.»
¹⁵ Moïse construisit un autel et l'appela: «L'Eternel mon étendard.» ¹⁶ Il dit: «Parce que les Amalécites se sont attaqués au trône de l'Eternel, il y aura guerre de l'Eternel contre eux de génération en génération.»
