WLC ¹ וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר אֱלֹהִ֔ים אֵ֛ת כָּל־ הַדְּבָרִ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה לֵאמֹֽר׃

KJV ² I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

MAR ² Je suis l'Eternel ton Dieu, qui t'ai retiré du pays d'Egypte, de la maison de servitude.

WLC ² אָֽנֹכִ֖י֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֑֔יךָ אֲשֶׁ֧ר הוֹצֵאתִ֛יךָ מֵאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרַ֖יִם מִבֵּ֣֥ית עֲבָדִֽ֑ים׃

KJV ³ Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

MAR ³ Tu n'auras point d'autres dieux devant ma face.

WLC ³ לֹֽ֣א יִהְיֶֽה־ לְךָ֛֩ אֱלֹהִ֥֨ים אֲחֵרִ֖֜ים עַל־ פָּנָֽ֗יַ

KJV ⁴ Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

MAR ⁴ Tu ne te feras point d'image taillée, ni aucune ressemblance des choses qui sont là-haut aux cieux, ni ici-bas sur la terre, ni dans les eaux sous la terre.

WLC ⁴ לֹֽ֣א תַֽעֲשֶׂ֨ה־ לְךָ֥֣ פֶ֣֙סֶל֙ ׀ וְכָל־ תְּמוּנָ֡֔ה אֲשֶׁ֤֣ר בַּשָּׁמַ֣֙יִם֙ ׀ מִמַּ֡֔עַל וַֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר֩ בָּאָ֖֨רֶץ מִתַָּ֑֜חַת וַאֲשֶׁ֥֣ר בַּמַּ֖֣יִם ׀ מִתַּ֥֣חַת לָאָֽ֗רֶץ

KJV ⁵ Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

MAR ⁵ Tu ne te prosterneras point devant elles, et ne les serviras point ; car je suis l'Eternel ton Dieu, le [Dieu] Fort, qui est jaloux, punissant l'iniquité des pères sur les enfants, jusqu'à la troisième et à la quatrième génération de ceux qui me haïssent ;

WLC ⁵ לֹֽא־ תִשְׁתַּחְוֶ֥֣ה לָהֶ֖ם֮ וְלֹ֣א תָעָבְדֵ֑ם֒ כִּ֣י אָֽנֹכִ֞י יְהוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ אֵ֣ל קַנָּ֔א פֹּ֠קֵד עֲוֺ֨ן אָבֹ֧ת עַל־ בָּנִ֛ים עַל־ שִׁלֵּשִׁ֥ים וְעַל־ רִבֵּעִ֖ים לְשֹׂנְאָֽ֑י׃

KJV ⁶ And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

MAR ⁶ Et faisant miséricorde en mille [générations] à ceux qui m'aiment, et qui gardent mes commandements.

WLC ⁶ וְעֹ֥֤שֶׂה חֶ֖֙סֶד֙ לַאֲלָפִ֑֔ים לְאֹהֲבַ֖י וּלְשֹׁמְרֵ֥י מִצְוֺתָֽי׃

KJV ⁷ Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

MAR ⁷ Tu ne prendras point le Nom de l'Eternel ton Dieu en vain ; car l'Eternel ne tiendra point pour innocent, celui qui aura pris son Nom en vain.

WLC ⁷ לֹ֥א תִשָּׂ֛א אֶת־ שֵֽׁם־ יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ לַשָּׁ֑וְא כִּ֣י לֹ֤א יְנַקֶּה֙ יְהוָ֔ה אֵ֛ת אֲשֶׁר־ יִשָּׂ֥א אֶת־ שְׁמ֖וֹ לַשָּֽׁוְא׃

KJV ⁸ Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

MAR ⁸ Souviens-toi du jour du repos, pour le sanctifier.

WLC ⁸ זָכ֛וֹר֩ אֶת־ י֥֨וֹם הַשַּׁבָּ֖֜ת לְקַדְּשֽׁ֗וֹ

KJV ⁹ Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

MAR ⁹ Tu travailleras six jours, et tu feras toute ton oeuvre ;

WLC ⁹ שֵׁ֤֣שֶׁת יָמִ֣ים֙ תַּֽעֲבֹ֔ד֮ וְעָשִׂ֖֣יתָ כָּל־ מְלַאכְתֶּֽךָ֒

KJV ¹⁰ But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

MAR ¹⁰ Mais le septième jour est le repos de l'Eternel ton Dieu. Tu ne feras aucune oeuvre en ce [jour-là], ni toi, ni ton fils, ni ta fille, ni ton serviteur, ni ta servante, ni ton bétail, ni ton étranger qui est dans tes portes.

WLC ¹⁰ וְי֙וֹם֙ הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔֜י שַׁבָּ֖֣ת ׀ לַיהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֑֗יךָ לֹֽ֣א־ תַעֲשֶׂ֣֨ה כָל־ מְלָאכָ֡֜ה אַתָּ֣ה ׀ וּבִנְךָֽ֣־ וּ֠בִתֶּ֗ךָ עַבְדְּךָ֤֨ וַאֲמָֽתְךָ֜֙ וּבְהֶמְתֶּ֔֗ךָ וְגֵרְךָ֖֙ אֲשֶׁ֥֣ר בִּשְׁעָרֶֽ֔יךָ

KJV ¹¹ For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

MAR ¹¹ Car l'Eternel a fait en six jours les cieux, la terre, la mer, et tout ce qui est en eux, et s'est reposé le septième jour ; c'est pourquoi l'Eternel a béni le jour du repos, et l'a sanctifié.

WLC ¹¹ כִּ֣י שֵֽׁשֶׁת־ יָמִים֩ עָשָׂ֨ה יְהוָ֜ה אֶת־ הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם וְאֶת־ הָאָ֗רֶץ אֶת־ הַיָּם֙ וְאֶת־ כָּל־ אֲשֶׁר־ בָּ֔ם וַיָּ֖נַח בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֑י עַל־ כֵּ֗ן בֵּרַ֧ךְ יְהוָ֛ה אֶת־ י֥וֹם הַשַּׁבָּ֖ת וַֽיְקַדְּשֵֽׁהוּ׃
