DRB ³ Et ils étendirent des lames d'or, et on les coupa par filets pour les brocher parmi le bleu, et parmi la pourpre, et parmi l'écarlate, et parmi le fin coton, en ouvrage d'art.

KJV ³ And they did beat the gold into thin plates, and cut it into wires, to work it in the blue, and in the purple, and in the scarlet, and in the fine linen, with cunning work.

DRB ⁴ Ils y firent des épaulières qui l'assemblaient ; il était joint par ses deux bouts.

KJV ⁴ They made shoulderpieces for it, to couple it together: by the two edges was it coupled together.

WLC ⁴ כְּתֵפֹ֥ת עָֽשׂוּ־ ל֖וֹ חֹבְרֹ֑ת עַל־ שְׁנֵ֥י חֻבָּֽר׃

DRB ⁵ Et la ceinture de son éphod, qui était par-dessus, était de la même matière, du même travail, d'or, de bleu, et de pourpre, et d'écarlate, et de fin coton retors, comme l'Éternel l'avait commandé à Moïse.

DRB ⁶ - Et ils firent les pierres d'onyx*, enchâssées dans des chatons d'or, gravées en gravure de cachet d'après les noms des fils d'Israël ;

KJV ⁶ And they wrought onyx stones inclosed in ouches of gold, graven, as signets are graven, with the names of the children of Israel.

DRB ⁷ et on les mit sur les épaulières de l'éphod comme pierres de mémorial pour les fils d'Israël, comme l'Éternel l'avait commandé à Moïse.

KJV ⁷ And he put them on the shoulders of the ephod, that they should be stones for a memorial to the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses.

KJV ⁹ It was foursquare; they made the breastplate double: a span was the length thereof, and a span the breadth thereof, being doubled.

KJV ¹⁶ And they made two ouches of gold, and two gold rings; and put the two rings in the two ends of the breastplate.

DRB ¹⁸ et ils mirent les deux bouts des deux torsades dans les deux chatons, et ils les mirent sur les épaulières de l'éphod, sur le devant.

KJV ¹⁸ And the two ends of the two wreathen chains they fastened in the two ouches, and put them on the shoulderpieces of the ephod, before it.

KJV ¹⁹ And they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, upon the border of it, which was on the side of the ephod inward.

DRB ²⁰ Et ils firent deux anneaux d'or, et les mirent aux deux épaulières de l'éphod par en bas, sur le devant, juste à sa jointure au-dessus de la ceinture de l'éphod ;

KJV ²⁰ And they made two other golden rings, and put them on the two sides of the ephod underneath, toward the forepart of it, over against the other coupling thereof, above the curious girdle of the ephod.

WLC ²⁰ וַֽיַּעֲשׂוּ֮ שְׁתֵּ֣י טַבְּעֹ֣ת זָהָב֒ וַֽיִּתְּנֻ֡ם עַל־ שְׁתֵּי֩ כִתְפֹ֨ת הָאֵפֹ֤ד מִלְמַ֙טָּה֙ מִמּ֣וּל פָּנָ֔יו לְעֻמַּ֖ת מֶחְבַּרְתּ֑וֹ מִמַּ֕עַל לְחֵ֖שֶׁב הָאֵפֹֽד׃

DRB ²¹ et ils attachèrent le pectoral par ses anneaux aux anneaux de l'éphod avec un cordon de bleu, afin qu'il fût au-dessus de la ceinture de l'éphod, et que le pectoral ne bougeât pas de dessus l'éphod, comme l'Éternel l'avait commandé à Moïse.

KJV ²¹ And they did bind the breastplate by his rings unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it might be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod; as the LORD commanded Moses.

DRB ²² Et on fit la robe de l'éphod en ouvrage de tisserand, entièrement de bleu ;

KJV ²² And he made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue.

WLC ²² וַיַּ֛עַשׂ אֶת־ מְעִ֥יל הָאֵפֹ֖ד מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה אֹרֵ֑ג כְּלִ֖יל תְּכֵֽלֶת׃

DRB ²³ et l'ouverture de la robe était au milieu, comme l'ouverture d'une cotte de mailles ; il y avait une bordure à son ouverture, tout autour, afin qu'elle ne se déchirât pas.

KJV ²³ And there was an hole in the midst of the robe, as the hole of an habergeon, with a band round about the hole, that it should not rend.

WLC ²³ וּפִֽי־ הַמְּעִ֥יל בְּתוֹכ֖וֹ כְּפִ֣י תַחְרָ֑א שָׂפָ֥ה לְפִ֛יו סָבִ֖יב לֹ֥א יִקָּרֵֽעַ׃

DRB ²⁴ - Et sur les bords de la robe ils firent des grenades de bleu et de pourpre et d'écarlate retors.

KJV ²⁴ And they made upon the hems of the robe pomegranates of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen.

DRB ²⁵ Et ils firent des clochettes d'or pur, et mirent les clochettes entre les grenades sur les bords de la robe, tout autour, entre les grenades :

KJV ²⁵ And they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates upon the hem of the robe, round about between the pomegranates;

WLC ²⁵ וַיַּעֲשׂ֥וּ פַעֲמֹנֵ֖י זָהָ֣ב טָה֑וֹר וַיִּתְּנ֨וּ אֶת־ הַפַּֽעֲמֹנִ֜ים בְּת֣וֹךְ הָרִמֹּנִ֗ים עַל־ שׁוּלֵ֤י הַמְּעִיל֙ סָבִ֔יב בְּת֖וֹךְ הָרִמֹּנִֽים׃

DRB ²⁶ une clochette et une grenade, une clochette et une grenade, sur les bords de la robe, tout autour, pour faire le service, comme l'Éternel l'avait commandé à Moïse.

KJV ²⁶ A bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, round about the hem of the robe to minister in; as the LORD commanded Moses.

KJV ²⁷ And they made coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron, and for his sons,

WLC ²⁷ וַֽיַּעֲשׂ֛וּ אֶת־ הַכָּתְנֹ֥ת שֵׁ֖שׁ מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה אֹרֵ֑ג לְאַהֲרֹ֖ן וּלְבָנָֽיו׃

DRB ²⁸ et la tiare de fin coton, et les bonnets d'ornement, de fin coton, et les caleçons de lin, de byssus* retors ;

KJV ²⁸ And a mitre of fine linen, and goodly bonnets of fine linen, and linen breeches of fine twined linen,

DRB ³⁰ Et ils firent la lame du saint diadème, d'or pur, et écrivirent dessus, en écriture de gravure de cachet : Sainteté à l'Éternel.

KJV ³⁰ And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it a writing, like to the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.

WLC ³⁰ וַֽיַּעֲשׂ֛וּ אֶת־ צִ֥יץ נֵֽזֶר־ הַקֹּ֖דֶשׁ זָהָ֣ב טָה֑וֹר וַיִּכְתְּב֣וּ עָלָ֗יו מִכְתַּב֙ פִּתּוּחֵ֣י חוֹתָ֔ם קֹ֖דֶשׁ לַיהוָֽה׃

DRB ³¹ Et ils mirent dessus un cordon de bleu, pour l'attacher à la tiare, par-dessus, comme l'Éternel l'avait commandé à Moïse.

KJV ³¹ And they tied unto it a lace of blue, to fasten it on high upon the mitre; as the LORD commanded Moses.

WLC ³¹ וַיִּתְּנ֤וּ עָלָיו֙ פְּתִ֣יל תְּכֵ֔לֶת לָתֵ֥ת עַל־ הַמִּצְנֶ֖פֶת מִלְמָ֑עְלָה כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־ מֹשֶֽׁה׃

DRB ³² Et tout le travail du tabernacle de la tente d'assignation fut achevé ; et les fils d'Israël firent selon tout ce que l'Éternel avait commandé à Moïse : ils firent ainsi.

KJV ³² Thus was all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation finished: and the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.

KJV ³³ And they brought the tabernacle unto Moses, the tent, and all his furniture, his taches, his boards, his bars, and his pillars, and his sockets,

DRB ³⁴ et la couverture de peaux de béliers teintes en rouge, et la couverture de peaux de taissons, et le voile qui sert de rideau* ;

KJV ³⁴ And the covering of rams' skins dyed red, and the covering of badgers' skins, and the vail of the covering,

DRB ³⁵ l'arche du témoignage, et ses barres, et le propitiatoire ;

KJV ³⁵ The ark of the testimony, and the staves thereof, and the mercy seat,

KJV ³⁷ The pure candlestick, with the lamps thereof, even with the lamps to be set in order, and all the vessels thereof, and the oil for light,

WLC ³⁷ אֶת־ הַמְּנֹרָ֨ה הַטְּהֹרָ֜ה אֶת־ נֵרֹתֶ֗יהָ נֵרֹ֛ת הַמַּֽעֲרָכָ֖ה וְאֶת־ כָּל־ כֵּלֶ֑יהָ וְאֵ֖ת שֶׁ֥מֶן הַמָּאֽוֹר׃

DRB ³⁸ et l'autel d'or, et l'huile de l'onction, et l'encens des drogues odoriférantes ; et le rideau de l'entrée de la tente ;

KJV ³⁸ And the golden altar, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the tabernacle door,

WLC ³⁸ וְאֵת֙ מִזְבַּ֣ח הַזָּהָ֔ב וְאֵת֙ שֶׁ֣מֶן הַמִּשְׁחָ֔ה וְאֵ֖ת קְטֹ֣רֶת הַסַּמִּ֑ים וְאֵ֕ת מָסַ֖ךְ פֶּ֥תַח הָאֹֽהֶל׃

DRB ³⁹ l'autel d'airain, et la grille d'airain qui lui appartient, ses barres, et tous ses ustensiles ; la cuve et son soubassement ;

KJV ³⁹ The brasen altar, and his grate of brass, his staves, and all his vessels, the laver and his foot,

WLC ³⁹ אֵ֣ת ׀ מִזְבַּ֣ח הַנְּחֹ֗שֶׁת וְאֶת־ מִכְבַּ֤ר הַנְּחֹ֙שֶׁת֙ אֲשֶׁר־ ל֔וֹ אֶת־ בַּדָּ֖יו וְאֶת־ כָּל־ כֵּלָ֑יו אֶת־ הַכִּיֹּ֖ר וְאֶת־ כַּנּֽוֹ׃

DRB ⁴⁰ les tentures du parvis, ses piliers, et ses bases ; et le rideau pour la porte du parvis, ses cordages, et ses pieux ; et tous les ustensiles du service du tabernacle, pour la tente d'assignation ;

KJV ⁴⁰ The hangings of the court, his pillars, and his sockets, and the hanging for the court gate, his cords, and his pins, and all the vessels of the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of the congregation,

WLC ⁴⁰ אֵת֩ קַלְעֵ֨י הֶחָצֵ֜ר אֶת־ עַמֻּדֶ֣יהָ וְאֶת־ אֲדָנֶ֗יהָ וְאֶת־ הַמָּסָךְ֙ לְשַׁ֣עַר הֶֽחָצֵ֔ר אֶת־ מֵיתָרָ֖יו וִיתֵדֹתֶ֑יהָ וְאֵ֗ת כָּל־ כְּלֵ֛י עֲבֹדַ֥ת הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן לְאֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃

DRB ⁴¹ les vêtements de service, pour servir dans le lieu saint : les saints vêtements pour Aaron, le sacrificateur, et les vêtements de ses fils, pour exercer la sacrificature.

KJV ⁴¹ The cloths of service to do service in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and his sons' garments, to minister in the priest's office.

WLC ⁴¹ אֶת־ בִּגְדֵ֥י הַשְּׂרָ֖ד לְשָׁרֵ֣ת בַּקֹּ֑דֶשׁ אֶת־ בִּגְדֵ֤י הַקֹּ֙דֶשׁ֙ לְאַהֲרֹ֣ן הַכֹּהֵ֔ן וְאֶת־ בִּגְדֵ֥י בָנָ֖יו לְכַהֵֽן׃

DRB ⁴² Selon tout ce que l'Éternel avait commandé à Moïse, ainsi les fils d'Israël firent tout le travail.

KJV ⁴² According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.

WLC ⁴² כְּכֹ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־ צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־ מֹשֶׁ֑ה כֵּ֤ן עָשׂוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֵ֖ת כָּל־ הָעֲבֹדָֽה׃

DRB ⁴³ Et Moïse vit tout l'ouvrage, et voici, ils l'avaient fait comme l'Éternel l'avait commandé ; ils l'avaient fait ainsi. Et Moïse les bénit. *

KJV ⁴³ And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the LORD had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

WLC ⁴³ וַיַּ֨רְא מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶת־ כָּל־ הַמְּלָאכָ֗ה וְהִנֵּה֙ עָשׂ֣וּ אֹתָ֔הּ כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה כֵּ֣ן עָשׂ֑וּ וַיְבָ֥רֶךְ אֹתָ֖ם מֹשֶֽׁה׃

DRB ¹ Et l'Éternel parla à Moïse, disant :

KJV ¹ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

WLC ¹ וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־ מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃

DRB ² Au* premier mois, le premier jour du mois, tu dresseras le tabernacle de la tente d'assignation ;

KJV ² On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.

WLC ² בְּיוֹם־ הַחֹ֥דֶשׁ הָרִאשׁ֖וֹן בְּאֶחָ֣ד לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ תָּקִ֕ים אֶת־ מִשְׁכַּ֖ן אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃

DRB ³ et tu y placeras l'arche du témoignage, et tu couvriras l'arche avec le voile.

KJV ³ And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the vail.

WLC ³ וְשַׂמְתָּ֣ שָׁ֔ם אֵ֖ת אֲר֣וֹן הָעֵד֑וּת וְסַכֹּתָ֥ עַל־ הָאָרֹ֖ן אֶת־ הַפָּרֹֽכֶת׃

DRB ⁴ Et tu apporteras la table, et tu y arrangeras ce qui doit y être arrangé* ; et tu apporteras le chandelier, et tu allumeras ses lampes.

KJV ⁴ And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.

WLC ⁴ וְהֵבֵאתָ֙ אֶת־ הַשֻּׁלְחָ֔ן וְעָרַכְתָּ֖ אֶת־ עֶרְכּ֑וֹ וְהֵבֵאתָ֙ אֶת־ הַמְּנֹרָ֔ה וְהַעֲלֵיתָ֖ אֶת־ נֵרֹתֶֽיהָ׃

DRB ⁵ Et tu mettras l'autel d'or pour l'encens devant l'arche du témoignage ; et tu placeras le rideau à l'entrée du tabernacle.

KJV ⁵ And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle.

WLC ⁵ וְנָתַתָּ֞ה אֶת־ מִזְבַּ֤ח הַזָּהָב֙ לִקְטֹ֔רֶת לִפְנֵ֖י אֲר֣וֹן הָעֵדֻ֑ת וְשַׂמְתָּ֛ אֶת־ מָסַ֥ךְ הַפֶּ֖תַח לַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃

DRB ⁶ Et tu mettras l'autel de l'holocauste devant l'entrée du tabernacle de la tente d'assignation.

KJV ⁶ And thou shalt set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.

WLC ⁶ וְנָ֣תַתָּ֔ה אֵ֖ת מִזְבַּ֣ח הָעֹלָ֑ה לִפְנֵ֕י פֶּ֖תַח מִשְׁכַּ֥ן אֹֽהֶל־ מוֹעֵֽד׃

DRB ⁷ Et tu mettras la cuve entre la tente d'assignation et l'autel, et tu y mettras de l'eau.

KJV ⁷ And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shalt put water therein.

WLC ⁷ וְנָֽתַתָּ֙ אֶת־ הַכִּיֹּ֔ר בֵּֽין־ אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵ֖ד וּבֵ֣ין הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ וְנָתַתָּ֥ שָׁ֖ם מָֽיִם׃

DRB ⁸ Et tu placeras le parvis tout autour, et tu mettras le rideau de la porte du parvis.

KJV ⁸ And thou shalt set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court gate.

WLC ⁸ וְשַׂמְתָּ֥ אֶת־ הֶחָצֵ֖ר סָבִ֑יב וְנָ֣תַתָּ֔ אֶת־ מָסַ֖ךְ שַׁ֥עַר הֶחָצֵֽר׃

DRB ⁹ Et tu prendras l'huile de l'onction, et tu en oindras le tabernacle et tout ce qui est dedans ; et tu le sanctifieras avec tous ses ustensiles, et il sera saint.

KJV ⁹ And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy.

WLC ⁹ וְלָקַחְתָּ֙ אֶת־ שֶׁ֣מֶן הַמִּשְׁחָ֔ה וּמָשַׁחְתָּ֥ אֶת־ הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן וְאֶת־ כָּל־ אֲשֶׁר־ בּ֑וֹ וְקִדַּשְׁתָּ֥ אֹת֛וֹ וְאֶת־ כָּל־ כֵּלָ֖יו וְהָ֥יָה קֹֽדֶשׁ׃

DRB ¹⁰ Et tu oindras l'autel de l'holocauste et tous ses ustensiles ; et tu sanctifieras l'autel, et l'autel sera une chose très sainte.

KJV ¹⁰ And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all his vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy.

WLC ¹⁰ וּמָשַׁחְתָּ֛ אֶת־ מִזְבַּ֥ח הָעֹלָ֖ה וְאֶת־ כָּל־ כֵּלָ֑יו וְקִדַּשְׁתָּ֙ אֶת־ הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ וְהָיָ֥ה הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ קֹ֥דֶשׁ קָֽדָשִֽׁים׃

DRB ¹¹ Et tu oindras la cuve et son soubassement, et tu la sanctifieras.

KJV ¹¹ And thou shalt anoint the laver and his foot, and sanctify it.

WLC ¹¹ וּמָשַׁחְתָּ֥ אֶת־ הַכִּיֹּ֖ר וְאֶת־ כַּנּ֑וֹ וְקִדַּשְׁתָּ֖ אֹתֽוֹ׃

DRB ¹² Et tu feras approcher Aaron et ses fils à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation, et tu les laveras avec de l'eau.

KJV ¹² And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.

WLC ¹² וְהִקְרַבְתָּ֤ אֶֽת־ אַהֲרֹן֙ וְאֶת־ בָּנָ֔יו אֶל־ פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד וְרָחַצְתָּ֥ אֹתָ֖ם בַּמָּֽיִם׃

DRB ¹³ Et tu revêtiras Aaron des saints vêtements, et tu l'oindras, et tu le sanctifieras, et il exercera la sacrificature devant moi.

KJV ¹³ And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.

WLC ¹³ וְהִלְבַּשְׁתָּ֙ אֶֽת־ אַהֲרֹ֔ן אֵ֖ת בִּגְדֵ֣י הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ וּמָשַׁחְתָּ֥ אֹת֛וֹ וְקִדַּשְׁתָּ֥ אֹת֖וֹ וְכִהֵ֥ן לִֽי׃

DRB ¹⁴ Et tu feras approcher ses fils, et tu les revêtiras des tuniques,

KJV ¹⁴ And thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe them with coats:

WLC ¹⁴ וְאֶת־ בָּנָ֖יו תַּקְרִ֑יב וְהִלְבַּשְׁתָּ֥ אֹתָ֖ם כֻּתֳּנֹֽת׃

DRB ¹⁵ et tu les oindras comme tu auras oint leur père ; et ils exerceront la sacrificature devant moi ; et leur onction leur sera pour [exercer] une sacrificature perpétuelle en leurs générations.

KJV ¹⁵ And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.

WLC ¹⁵ וּמָשַׁחְתָּ֣ אֹתָ֗ם כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר מָשַׁ֙חְתָּ֙ אֶת־ אֲבִיהֶ֔ם וְכִהֲנ֖וּ לִ֑י וְ֠הָיְתָה לִהְיֹ֨ת לָהֶ֧ם מָשְׁחָתָ֛ם לִכְהֻנַּ֥ת עוֹלָ֖ם לְדֹרֹתָֽם׃

DRB ¹⁶ Et Moïse fit selon tout ce que l'Éternel lui avait commandé ; il fit ainsi.

KJV ¹⁶ Thus did Moses: according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he.

WLC ¹⁶ וַיַּ֖עַשׂ מֹשֶׁ֑ה כְּ֠כֹל אֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוָּ֧ה יְהוָ֛ה אֹת֖וֹ כֵּ֥ן עָשָֽׂה׃

DRB ¹⁷ Et il arriva, le premier mois, en la seconde année, le premier [jour] du mois, que le tabernacle fut dressé.

KJV ¹⁷ And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.

WLC ¹⁷ וַיְהִ֞י בַּחֹ֧דֶשׁ הָרִאשׁ֛וֹן בַּשָּׁנָ֥ה הַשֵּׁנִ֖ית בְּאֶחָ֣ד לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ הוּקַ֖ם הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃

DRB ¹⁸ Et Moïse dressa le tabernacle, et mit ses bases, et plaça ses ais, et mit ses traverses, et dressa ses piliers.

KJV ¹⁸ And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and fastened his sockets, and set up the boards thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared up his pillars.

WLC ¹⁸ וַיָּ֨קֶם מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶת־ הַמִּשְׁכָּ֗ן וַיִּתֵּן֙ אֶת־ אֲדָנָ֔יו וַיָּ֙שֶׂם֙ אֶת־ קְרָשָׁ֔יו וַיִּתֵּ֖ן אֶת־ בְּרִיחָ֑יו וַיָּ֖קֶם אֶת־ עַמּוּדָֽיו׃

DRB ¹⁹ Et il étendit la tente sur le tabernacle, et mit la couverture de la tente sur elle, par-dessus, comme l'Éternel l'avait commandé à Moïse.

KJV ¹⁹ And he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as the LORD commanded Moses.

WLC ¹⁹ וַיִּפְרֹ֤שׂ אֶת־ הָאֹ֙הֶל֙ עַל־ הַמִּשְׁכָּ֔ן וַיָּ֜שֶׂם אֶת־ מִכְסֵ֥ה הָאֹ֛הֶל עָלָ֖יו מִלְמָ֑עְלָה כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־ מֹשֶֽׁה׃

DRB ²⁰ Et il prit et mit le témoignage dans l'arche ; et il plaça les barres à l'arche ; et il mit le propitiatoire sur l'arche, par-dessus.

KJV ²⁰ And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark:

WLC ²⁰ וַיִּקַּ֞ח וַיִּתֵּ֤ן אֶת־ הָעֵדֻת֙ אֶל־ הָ֣אָרֹ֔ן וַיָּ֥שֶׂם אֶת־ הַבַּדִּ֖ים עַל־ הָאָרֹ֑ן וַיִּתֵּ֧ן אֶת־ הַכַּפֹּ֛רֶת עַל־ הָאָרֹ֖ן מִלְמָֽעְלָה׃

DRB ²¹ Et il apporta l'arche dans le tabernacle, et plaça le voile qui sert de rideau*, et en couvrit l'arche du témoignage, comme l'Éternel l'avait commandé à Moïse.

KJV ²¹ And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the vail of the covering, and covered the ark of the testimony; as the LORD commanded Moses.

WLC ²¹ וַיָּבֵ֣א אֶת־ הָאָרֹן֮ אֶל־ הַמִּשְׁכָּן֒ וַיָּ֗שֶׂם אֵ֚ת פָּרֹ֣כֶת הַמָּסָ֔ךְ וַיָּ֕סֶךְ עַ֖ל אֲר֣וֹן הָעֵד֑וּת כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־ מֹשֶֽׁה׃

DRB ²² Et il mit la table dans la tente d'assignation, sur le côté du tabernacle, vers le nord, en dehors du voile ;

KJV ²² And he put the table in the tent of the congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle northward, without the vail.

WLC ²² וַיִּתֵּ֤ן אֶת־ הַשֻּׁלְחָן֙ בְּאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד עַ֛ל יֶ֥רֶךְ הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן צָפֹ֑נָה מִח֖וּץ לַפָּרֹֽכֶת׃

DRB ²³ et il rangea sur elle, en ordre, le pain devant l'Éternel, comme l'Éternel l'avait commandé à Moïse.

KJV ²³ And he set the bread in order upon it before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses.

WLC ²³ וַיַּעֲרֹ֥ךְ עָלָ֛יו עֵ֥רֶךְ לֶ֖חֶם לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־ מֹשֶֽׁה׃

DRB ²⁴ Et il plaça le chandelier dans la tente d'assignation, vis-à-vis de la table, sur le côté du tabernacle, vers le midi ;

KJV ²⁴ And he put the candlestick in the tent of the congregation, over against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.

WLC ²⁴ וַיָּ֤שֶׂם אֶת־ הַמְּנֹרָה֙ בְּאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד נֹ֖כַח הַשֻּׁלְחָ֑ן עַ֛ל יֶ֥רֶךְ הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן נֶֽגְבָּה׃

DRB ²⁵ et il alluma* les lampes devant l'Éternel, comme l'Éternel l'avait commandé à Moïse.

KJV ²⁵ And he lighted the lamps before the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.

WLC ²⁵ וַיַּ֥עַל הַנֵּרֹ֖ת לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־ מֹשֶֽׁה׃

DRB ²⁶ Et il plaça l'autel d'or dans la tente d'assignation, devant le voile ;

KJV ²⁶ And he put the golden altar in the tent of the congregation before the vail:

WLC ²⁶ וַיָּ֛שֶׂם אֶת־ מִזְבַּ֥ח הַזָּהָ֖ב בְּאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד לִפְנֵ֖י הַפָּרֹֽכֶת׃

DRB ²⁷ et il fit fumer dessus l'encens des drogues odoriférantes, comme l'Éternel l'avait commandé à Moïse.

KJV ²⁷ And he burnt sweet incense thereon; as the LORD commanded Moses.

WLC ²⁷ וַיַּקְטֵ֥ר עָלָ֖יו קְטֹ֣רֶת סַמִּ֑ים כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־ מֹשֶֽׁה׃

DRB ²⁸ Et il plaça le rideau de l'entrée du tabernacle.

KJV ²⁸ And he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle.

WLC ²⁸ וַיָּ֛שֶׂם אֶת־ מָסַ֥ךְ הַפֶּ֖תַח לַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃

DRB ²⁹ Et il plaça l'autel de l'holocauste à l'entrée du tabernacle de la tente d'assignation, et il offrit sur lui l'holocauste et l'offrande de gâteau, comme l'Éternel l'avait commandé à Moïse.

KJV ²⁹ And he put the altar of burnt offering by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering; as the LORD commanded Moses.

WLC ²⁹ וְאֵת֙ מִזְבַּ֣ח הָעֹלָ֔ה שָׂ֕ם פֶּ֖תַח מִשְׁכַּ֣ן אֹֽהֶל־ מוֹעֵ֑ד וַיַּ֣עַל עָלָ֗יו אֶת־ הָעֹלָה֙ וְאֶת־ הַמִּנְחָ֔ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־ מֹשֶֽׁה׃

DRB ³⁰ Et il plaça la cuve entre la tente d'assignation et l'autel, et y mit de l'eau pour se laver.

KJV ³⁰ And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash withal.

WLC ³⁰ וַיָּ֙שֶׂם֙ אֶת־ הַכִּיֹּ֔ר בֵּֽין־ אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵ֖ד וּבֵ֣ין הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ וַיִּתֵּ֥ן שָׁ֛מָּה מַ֖יִם לְרָחְצָֽה׃

DRB ³¹ Et Moïse, et Aaron et ses fils, s'y lavèrent les mains et les pieds ;

KJV ³¹ And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet thereat:

WLC ³¹ וְרָחֲצ֣וּ מִמֶּ֔נּוּ מֹשֶׁ֖ה וְאַהֲרֹ֣ן וּבָנָ֑יו אֶת־ יְדֵיהֶ֖ם וְאֶת־ רַגְלֵיהֶֽם׃

DRB ³² lorsqu'ils entraient dans la tente d'assignation, et qu'ils s'approchaient de l'autel, ils se lavaient, comme l'Éternel l'avait commandé à Moïse.

KJV ³² When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses.

WLC ³² בְּבֹאָ֞ם אֶל־ אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֗ד וּבְקָרְבָתָ֛ם אֶל־ הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ יִרְחָ֑צוּ כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־ מֹשֶֽׁה׃

DRB ³³ Et il dressa le parvis tout autour du tabernacle et de l'autel, et mit le rideau à la porte du parvis. Et Moïse acheva l'œuvre. *

KJV ³³ And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work.

WLC ³³ וַיָּ֣קֶם אֶת־ הֶחָצֵ֗ר סָבִיב֙ לַמִּשְׁכָּ֣ן וְלַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ וַיִּתֵּ֕ן אֶת־ מָסַ֖ךְ שַׁ֣עַר הֶחָצֵ֑ר וַיְכַ֥ל מֹשֶׁ֖ה אֶת־ הַמְּלָאכָֽה׃

DRB ³⁴ Et la nuée couvrit la tente d'assignation, et la gloire de l'Éternel remplit le tabernacle ;

KJV ³⁴ Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

WLC ³⁴ וַיְכַ֥ס הֶעָנָ֖ן אֶת־ אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד וּכְב֣וֹד יְהוָ֔ה מָלֵ֖א אֶת־ הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃

DRB ³⁵ et Moïse ne pouvait entrer dans la tente d'assignation ; car la nuée demeura dessus, et la gloire de l'Éternel remplissait le tabernacle.

KJV ³⁵ And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

WLC ³⁵ וְלֹא־ יָכֹ֣ל מֹשֶׁ֗ה לָבוֹא֙ אֶל־ אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד כִּֽי־ שָׁכַ֥ן עָלָ֖יו הֶעָנָ֑ן וּכְב֣וֹד יְהוָ֔ה מָלֵ֖א אֶת־ הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃

DRB ³⁶ Et quand la nuée se levait de dessus le tabernacle, les fils d'Israël partaient, dans toutes leurs traites ;

KJV ³⁶ And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys:

WLC ³⁶ וּבְהֵעָל֤וֹת הֶֽעָנָן֙ מֵעַ֣ל הַמִּשְׁכָּ֔ן יִסְע֖וּ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל בְּכֹ֖ל מַסְעֵיהֶֽם׃

DRB ³⁷ et si la nuée ne se levait pas, ils ne partaient pas, jusqu'au jour où elle se levait ;

KJV ³⁷ But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.

WLC ³⁷ וְאִם־ לֹ֥א יֵעָלֶ֖ה הֶעָנָ֑ן וְלֹ֣א יִסְע֔וּ עַד־ י֖וֹם הֵעָלֹתֽוֹ׃

DRB ³⁸ car la nuée de l'Éternel était sur le tabernacle le jour, et un feu y était la nuit, aux yeux de toute la maison d'Israël, dans toutes leurs traites.

KJV ³⁸ For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

WLC ³⁸ כִּי֩ עֲנַ֨ן יְהוָ֤ה עַֽל־ הַמִּשְׁכָּן֙ יוֹמָ֔ם וְאֵ֕שׁ תִּהְיֶ֥ה לַ֖יְלָה בּ֑וֹ לְעֵינֵ֥י כָל־ בֵּֽית־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בְּכָל־ מַסְעֵיהֶֽם׃
