KJV ¹ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

KJV ² On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.

MAR ² Au premier jour du premier mois, tu dresseras le pavillon du Tabernacle d'assignation.

VULC ² Mense primo, prima die mensis, eriges tabernaculum testimonii,

KJV ³ And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the vail.

MAR ³ Et tu y mettras l'Arche du Témoignage, au devant de laquelle tu tendras le voile.

VULC ³ et pones in eo arcam, dimittesque ante illam velum :

KJV ⁴ And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.

MAR ⁴ Puis tu apporteras la Table, et y arrangeras ce qui y doit être arrangé. Tu apporteras aussi le chandelier, et allumeras ses lampes.

VULC ⁴ et illata mensa, pones super eam quæ rite præcepta sunt. Candelabrum stabit cum lucernis suis,

KJV ⁵ And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle.

MAR ⁵ Tu mettras aussi l'autel d'or pour le parfum au devant de l'Arche du Témoignage ; et tu mettras la tapisserie de l'entrée au pavillon.

VULC ⁵ et altare aureum, in quo adoletur incensum, coram arca testimonii. Tentorium in introitu tabernaculi pones,

KJV ⁶ And thou shalt set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.

MAR ⁶ Tu mettras aussi l'autel de l'holocauste vis-à-vis de l'entrée du pavillon du Tabernacle d'assignation.

VULC ⁶ et ante illud altare holocausti :

KJV ⁷ And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shalt put water therein.

MAR ⁷ Tu mettras aussi la cuve entre le Tabernacle d'assignation et l'autel, et y mettras de l'eau.

VULC ⁷ labrum inter altare et tabernaculum, quod implebis aqua.

KJV ⁸ And thou shalt set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court gate.

MAR ⁸ Tu mettras aussi le parvis tout à l’entour, et tu mettras la tapisserie à la porte du parvis.

VULC ⁸ Circumdabisque atrium tentoriis, et ingressum ejus.

KJV ⁹ And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy.

MAR ⁹ Tu prendras aussi l'huile de l'onction, et tu en oindras le pavillon, et tout ce qui y est, et tu le sanctifieras, avec tous ses ustensiles ; et il sera saint.

VULC ⁹ Et assumpto unctionis oleo unges tabernaculum cum vasis suis, ut sanctificentur :

KJV ¹⁰ And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all his vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy.

MAR ¹⁰ Tu oindras aussi l'autel de l'holocauste, et tous ses ustensiles, et tu sanctifieras l'autel, et l'autel sera très-saint.

VULC ¹⁰ altare holocausti et omnia vasa ejus,

KJV ¹¹ And thou shalt anoint the laver and his foot, and sanctify it.

MAR ¹¹ Tu oindras aussi la cuve et son soubassement, et la sanctifieras.

VULC ¹¹ labrum cum basi sua : omnia unctionis oleo consecrabis, ut sint Sancta sanctorum.

KJV ¹² And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.

MAR ¹² Tu feras aussi approcher Aaron et ses fils à l'entrée du Tabernacle d'assignation, et les laveras avec de l'eau.

VULC ¹² Applicabisque Aaron et filios ejus ad fores tabernaculi testimonii, et lotos aqua

KJV ¹³ And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.

MAR ¹³ Et tu feras vêtir à Aaron les saints vêtements, tu l'oindras, et le sanctifieras ; et il m'exercera la Sacrificature.

VULC ¹³ indues sanctis vestibus, ut ministrent mihi, et unctio eorum in sacerdotium sempiternum proficiat.

KJV ¹⁴ And thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe them with coats:

MAR ¹⁴ Tu feras aussi approcher ses fils, lesquels tu revêtiras de chemises.

VULC ¹⁴ Fecitque Moyses omnia quæ præceperat Dominus.

KJV ¹⁵ And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.

MAR ¹⁵ Et tu les oindras comme tu auras oint leur père ; et ils m'exerceront la Sacrificature, et leur onction leur sera pour exercer la Sacrificature à toujours, d'âge en âge.

VULC ¹⁵ Igitur mense primo anni secundi, prima die mensis, collocatum est tabernaculum.
