KJV ¹ And the LORD spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

MAR ¹ Après cela l'Eternel dit à Moïse : va vers Pharaon, et lui dis : ainsi a dit l'Eternel : laisse aller mon peuple, afin qu'ils me servent.

WLC ¹ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יְהוָה֮ אֶל־ מֹשֶׁה֒ אֱמֹ֣ר אֶֽל־ אַהֲרֹ֗ן נְטֵ֤ה אֶת־ יָדְךָ֙ בְּמַטֶּ֔ךָ עַל־ הַ֨נְּהָרֹ֔ת עַל־ הַיְאֹרִ֖ים וְעַל־ הָאֲגַמִּ֑ים וְהַ֥עַל אֶת־ הַֽצְפַרְדְּעִ֖ים עַל־ אֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃

KJV ² And if thou refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs:

MAR ² Que si tu refuses de le laisser aller, voici, je m'en vais frapper de grenouilles toutes tes contrées.

WLC ² וַיֵּ֤ט אַהֲרֹן֙ אֶת־ יָד֔וֹ עַ֖ל מֵימֵ֣י מִצְרָ֑יִם וַתַּ֙עַל֙ הַצְּפַרְדֵּ֔עַ וַתְּכַ֖ס אֶת־ אֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃

KJV ³ And the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into thine house, and into thy bedchamber, and upon thy bed, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy kneadingtroughs:

MAR ³ Et le fleuve fourmillera de grenouilles, qui monteront et entreront dans ta maison, et dans la chambre où tu couches, et sur ton lit, et dans la maison de tes serviteurs, et parmi tout ton peuple, dans tes fours, et dans tes maies.

WLC ³ וַיַּֽעֲשׂוּ־ כֵ֥ן הַֽחֲרְטֻמִּ֖ים בְּלָטֵיהֶ֑ם וַיַּעֲל֥וּ אֶת־ הַֽצְפַרְדְּעִ֖ים עַל־ אֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃

KJV ⁴ And the frogs shall come up both on thee, and upon thy people, and upon all thy servants.

MAR ⁴ Ainsi les grenouilles monteront sur toi, sur ton peuple, et sur tous tes serviteurs.

WLC ⁴ וַיִּקְרָ֨א פַרְעֹ֜ה לְמֹשֶׁ֣ה וּֽלְאַהֲרֹ֗ן וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ הַעְתִּ֣ירוּ אֶל־ יְהוָ֔ה וְיָסֵר֙ הַֽצְפַרְדְּעִ֔ים מִמֶּ֖נִּי וּמֵֽעַמִּ֑י וַאֲשַׁלְּחָה֙ אֶת־ הָעָ֔ם וְיִזְבְּח֖וּ לַיהוָֽה׃

KJV ⁵ And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine hand with thy rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.

MAR ⁵ L'Eternel donc dit à Moïse : dis à Aaron : étends ta main avec ta verge sur les fleuves, sur les rivières, et sur les marais, et fais monter les grenouilles sur le pays d'Egypte.

WLC ⁵ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֣ה לְפַרְעֹה֮ הִתְפָּאֵ֣ר עָלַי֒ לְמָתַ֣י ׀ אַעְתִּ֣יר לְךָ֗ וְלַעֲבָדֶ֙יךָ֙ וּֽלְעַמְּךָ֔ לְהַכְרִית֙ הַֽצֲפַרְדְּעִ֔ים מִמְּךָ֖ וּמִבָּתֶּ֑יךָ רַ֥ק בַּיְאֹ֖ר תִּשָּׁאַֽרְנָה׃

KJV ⁶ And Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt.

MAR ⁶ Et Aaron étendit sa main sur les eaux de l'Egypte, et les grenouilles montèrent, et couvrirent le pays d'Egypte.

WLC ⁶ וַיֹּ֖אמֶר לְמָחָ֑ר וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ כִּדְבָ֣רְךָ֔ לְמַ֣עַן תֵּדַ֔ע כִּי־ אֵ֖ין כַּיהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃

KJV ⁷ And the magicians did so with their enchantments, and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt.

MAR ⁷ Mais les magiciens firent de même par leurs enchantements, et firent monter des grenouilles sur le pays d'Egypte.

WLC ⁷ וְסָר֣וּ הַֽצְפַרְדְּעִ֗ים מִמְּךָ֙ וּמִבָּ֣תֶּ֔יךָ וּמֵעֲבָדֶ֖יךָ וּמֵעַמֶּ֑ךָ רַ֥ק בַּיְאֹ֖ר תִּשָּׁאַֽרְנָה׃

KJV ⁸ Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Intreat the LORD, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice unto the LORD.

MAR ⁸ Alors Pharaon appela Moïse et Aaron, et leur dit : fléchissez l'Eternel par [vos] prières, afin qu'il retire les grenouilles de dessus moi et de dessus mon peuple ; et je laisserai aller le peuple, afin qu'ils sacrifient à l'Eternel.

WLC ⁸ וַיֵּצֵ֥א מֹשֶׁ֛ה וְאַהֲרֹ֖ן מֵעִ֣ם פַּרְעֹ֑ה וַיִּצְעַ֤ק מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶל־ יְהוָ֔ה עַל־ דְּבַ֥ר הַֽצְפַרְדְּעִ֖ים אֲשֶׁר־ שָׂ֥ם לְפַרְעֹֽה׃

KJV ⁹ And Moses said unto Pharaoh, Glory over me: when shall I intreat for thee, and for thy servants, and for thy people, to destroy the frogs from thee and thy houses, that they may remain in the river only?

MAR ⁹ Et Moïse dit à Pharaon : glorifie-toi sur moi. Pour quel temps fléchirai-je par mes prières [l'Eternel] pour toi et pour tes serviteurs, et pour ton peuple, afin qu'il chasse les grenouilles loin de toi, et de tes maisons ? Il en demeurera seulement dans le fleuve.

WLC ⁹ וַיַּ֥עַשׂ יְהוָ֖ה כִּדְבַ֣ר מֹשֶׁ֑ה וַיָּמֻ֙תוּ֙ הַֽצְפַרְדְּעִ֔ים מִן־ הַבָּתִּ֥ים מִן־ הַחֲצֵרֹ֖ת וּמִן־ הַשָּׂדֹֽת׃

KJV ¹⁰ And he said, To morrow. And he said, Be it according to thy word: that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the LORD our God.

MAR ¹⁰ Alors il répondit : pour demain. Et [Moïse] dit : [il sera fait] selon ta parole, afin que tu saches qu'il n'y a nul [Dieu] tel que l'Eternel notre Dieu.

WLC ¹⁰ וַיִּצְבְּר֥וּ אֹתָ֖ם חֳמָרִ֣ם חֳמָרִ֑ם וַתִּבְאַ֖שׁ הָאָֽרֶץ׃

KJV ¹¹ And the frogs shall depart from thee, and from thy houses, and from thy servants, and from thy people; they shall remain in the river only.

MAR ¹¹ Les grenouilles donc se retireront de toi, et de tes maisons, et de tes serviteurs, et de ton peuple ; il en demeurera seulement dans le fleuve.

WLC ¹¹ וַיַּ֣רְא פַּרְעֹ֗ה כִּ֤י הָֽיְתָה֙ הָֽרְוָחָ֔ה וְהַכְבֵּד֙ אֶת־ לִבּ֔וֹ וְלֹ֥א שָׁמַ֖ע אֲלֵהֶ֑ם כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר דִּבֶּ֥ר יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ¹² And Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh: and Moses cried unto the LORD because of the frogs which he had brought against Pharaoh.

MAR ¹² Alors Moïse et Aaron sortirent d'avec Pharaon ; et Moïse cria à l'Eternel au sujet des grenouilles qu'il avait fait venir sur Pharaon.

WLC ¹² וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יְהוָה֮ אֶל־ מֹשֶׁה֒ אֱמֹר֙ אֶֽל־ אַהֲרֹ֔ן נְטֵ֣ה אֶֽת־ מַטְּךָ֔ וְהַ֖ךְ אֶת־ עֲפַ֣ר הָאָ֑רֶץ וְהָיָ֥ה לְכִנִּ֖ם בְּכָל־ אֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃

KJV ¹³ And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the villages, and out of the fields.

MAR ¹³ Et l'Eternel fit selon la parole de Moïse. Ainsi les grenouilles moururent ; et il n'y en eut plus dans les maisons, ni dans les villages, ni à la campagne.

WLC ¹³ וַיַּֽעֲשׂוּ־ כֵ֗ן וַיֵּט֩ אַהֲרֹ֨ן אֶת־ יָד֤וֹ בְמַטֵּ֙הוּ֙ וַיַּךְ֙ אֶת־ עֲפַ֣ר הָאָ֔רֶץ וַתְּהִי֙ הַכִּנָּ֔ם בָּאָדָ֖ם וּבַבְּהֵמָ֑ה כָּל־ עֲפַ֥ר הָאָ֛רֶץ הָיָ֥ה כִנִּ֖ים בְּכָל־ אֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃

KJV ¹⁴ And they gathered them together upon heaps: and the land stank.

MAR ¹⁴ Et on les amassa par monceaux, et la terre en fut infectée.

WLC ¹⁴ וַיַּעֲשׂוּ־ כֵ֨ן הַחַרְטֻמִּ֧ים בְּלָטֵיהֶ֛ם לְהוֹצִ֥יא אֶת־ הַכִּנִּ֖ים וְלֹ֣א יָכֹ֑לוּ וַתְּהִי֙ הַכִּנָּ֔ם בָּאָדָ֖ם וּבַבְּהֵמָֽה׃

KJV ¹⁵ But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart, and hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.

MAR ¹⁵ Mais Pharaon voyant qu'il avait du relâche, endurcit son coeur, et ne les écouta point, selon que l'Eternel [en] avait parlé.

WLC ¹⁵ וַיֹּאמְר֤וּ הַֽחַרְטֻמִּים֙ אֶל־ פַּרְעֹ֔ה אֶצְבַּ֥ע אֱלֹהִ֖ים הִ֑וא וַיֶּחֱזַ֤ק לֵב־ פַּרְעֹה֙ וְלֹֽא־ שָׁמַ֣ע אֲלֵהֶ֔ם כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר דִּבֶּ֥ר יְהוָֽה׃
