KJV ⁷ And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.

WLC ⁷ וַיֹּ֖אמֶר אֵלָ֑יו אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֤ר הוֹצֵאתִ֙יךָ֙ מֵא֣וּר כַּשְׂדִּ֔ים לָ֧תֶת לְךָ֛ אֶת־ הָאָ֥רֶץ הַזֹּ֖את לְרִשְׁתָּֽהּ׃

KJV ⁸ And he said, LORD God, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?

OST ⁸ Et il dit: Seigneur Éternel, à quoi connaîtrai-je que je le posséderai?

WLC ⁸ וַיֹּאמַ֑ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהוִ֔ה בַּמָּ֥ה אֵדַ֖ע כִּ֥י אִֽירָשֶֽׁנָּה׃

KJV ⁹ And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.

OST ⁹ Et il lui répondit: Prends pour moi une génisse de trois ans, une chèvre de trois ans, un bélier de trois ans, une tourterelle et un pigeonneau.

WLC ⁹ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלָ֗יו קְחָ֥ה לִי֙ עֶגְלָ֣ה מְשֻׁלֶּ֔שֶׁת וְעֵ֥ז מְשֻׁלֶּ֖שֶׁת וְאַ֣יִל מְשֻׁלָּ֑שׁ וְתֹ֖ר וְגוֹזָֽל׃

KJV ¹⁰ And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.

OST ¹⁰ Et il prit toutes ces choses, et les partagea par le milieu, et il mit chaque moitié vis-à-vis de l'autre; mais il ne partagea point les oiseaux.

KJV ¹¹ And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away.
