KJV ⁷ And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.

WLC ⁷ וַיֹּ֖אמֶר אֵלָ֑יו אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֤ר הוֹצֵאתִ֙יךָ֙ מֵא֣וּר כַּשְׂדִּ֔ים לָ֧תֶת לְךָ֛ אֶת־ הָאָ֥רֶץ הַזֹּ֖את לְרִשְׁתָּֽהּ׃

KJV ⁸ And he said, LORD God, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?

VULC ⁸ At ille ait : Domine Deus, unde scire possum quod possessurus sim eam ?

WLC ⁸ וַיֹּאמַ֑ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהוִ֔ה בַּמָּ֥ה אֵדַ֖ע כִּ֥י אִֽירָשֶֽׁנָּה׃

KJV ⁹ And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.

VULC ⁹ Et respondens Dominus : Sume, inquit, mihi vaccam triennem, et capram trimam, et arietem annorum trium, turturem quoque et columbam.

WLC ⁹ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלָ֗יו קְחָ֥ה לִי֙ עֶגְלָ֣ה מְשֻׁלֶּ֔שֶׁת וְעֵ֥ז מְשֻׁלֶּ֖שֶׁת וְאַ֣יִל מְשֻׁלָּ֑שׁ וְתֹ֖ר וְגוֹזָֽל׃

KJV ¹⁰ And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.

VULC ¹⁰ Qui tollens universa hæc, divisit ea per medium, et utrasque partes contra se altrinsecus posuit ; aves autem non divisit.

WLC ¹⁰ וַיִּֽקַּֽח־ ל֣וֹ אֶת־ כָּל־ אֵ֗לֶּה וַיְבַתֵּ֤ר אֹתָם֙ בַּתָּ֔וֶךְ וַיִּתֵּ֥ן אִישׁ־ בִּתְר֖וֹ לִקְרַ֣את רֵעֵ֑הוּ וְאֶת־ הַצִפֹּ֖ר לֹ֥א בָתָֽר׃

KJV ¹¹ And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away.

VULC ¹¹ Descenderuntque volucres super cadavera, et abigebat eas Abram.

WLC ¹¹ וַיֵּ֥רֶד הָעַ֖יִט עַל־ הַפְּגָרִ֑ים וַיַּשֵּׁ֥ב אֹתָ֖ם אַבְרָֽם׃
