WLC ¹⁰ וַיֵּצֵ֥א יַעֲקֹ֖ב מִבְּאֵ֣ר שָׁ֑בַע וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ חָרָֽנָה׃

DRB ¹¹ et il se rencontra en un lieu où il passa la nuit, car le soleil était couché ; et il prit des pierres du lieu, et s'en fit un chevet, et se coucha en ce lieu-là.

KJV ¹¹ And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep.

LSG ¹¹ Il arriva dans un lieu où il passa la nuit ; car le soleil était couché. Il y prit une pierre, dont il fit son chevet, et il se coucha dans ce lieu-là.

WLC ¹¹ וַיִּפְגַּ֨ע בַּמָּק֜וֹם וַיָּ֤לֶן שָׁם֙ כִּי־ בָ֣א הַשֶּׁ֔מֶשׁ וַיִּקַּח֙ מֵאַבְנֵ֣י הַמָּק֔וֹם וַיָּ֖שֶׂם מְרַֽאֲשֹׁתָ֑יו וַיִּשְׁכַּ֖ב בַּמָּק֥וֹם הַהֽוּא׃

DRB ¹² Et il songea : et voici une échelle dressée sur la terre, et son sommet touchait aux cieux ; et voici, les anges de Dieu montaient et descendaient sur elle.

KJV ¹² And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.

LSG ¹² Il eut un songe. Et voici, une échelle était appuyée sur la terre, et son sommet touchait au ciel. Et voici, les anges de Dieu montaient et descendaient par cette échelle.

WLC ¹² וַֽיַּחֲלֹ֗ם וְהִנֵּ֤ה סֻלָּם֙ מֻצָּ֣ב אַ֔רְצָה וְרֹאשׁ֖וֹ מַגִּ֣יעַ הַשָּׁמָ֑יְמָה וְהִנֵּה֙ מַלְאֲכֵ֣י אֱלֹהִ֔ים עֹלִ֥ים וְיֹרְדִ֖ים בּֽוֹ׃

DRB ¹³ Et voici, l'Éternel se tenait sur elle, et il dit : Je suis l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Abraham, ton père, et le Dieu d'Isaac ; la terre, sur laquelle tu es couché, je te la donnerai, et à ta semence ;

KJV ¹³ And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;

LSG ¹³ Et voici, l'Éternel se tenait au-dessus d'elle ; et il dit: Je suis l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Abraham, ton père, et le Dieu d'Isaac. La terre sur laquelle tu es couché, je la donnerai à toi et à ta postérité.

WLC ¹³ וְהִנֵּ֨ה יְהוָ֜ה נִצָּ֣ב עָלָיו֮ וַיֹּאמַר֒ אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֗ה אֱלֹהֵי֙ אַבְרָהָ֣ם אָבִ֔יךָ וֵאלֹהֵ֖י יִצְחָ֑ק הָאָ֗רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֤ר אַתָּה֙ שֹׁכֵ֣ב עָלֶ֔יהָ לְךָ֥ אֶתְּנֶ֖נָּה וּלְזַרְעֶֽךָ׃

DRB ¹⁴ et ta semence sera comme la poussière de la terre ; et tu t'étendras à l'occident, et à l'orient, et au nord, et au midi ; et toutes les familles de la terre seront bénies en toi et en ta semence.

KJV ¹⁴ And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

LSG ¹⁴ Ta postérité sera comme la poussière de la terre ; tu t'étendras à l'occident et à l'orient, au septentrion et au midi ; et toutes les familles de la terre seront bénies en toi et en ta postérité.

WLC ¹⁴ וְהָיָ֤ה זַרְעֲךָ֙ כַּעֲפַ֣ר הָאָ֔רֶץ וּפָרַצְתָּ֛ יָ֥מָּה וָקֵ֖דְמָה וְצָפֹ֣נָה וָנֶ֑גְבָּה וְנִבְרֲכ֥וּ בְךָ֛ כָּל־ מִשְׁפְּחֹ֥ת הָאֲדָמָ֖ה וּבְזַרְעֶֽךָ׃

DRB ¹⁵ Et voici, je suis avec toi ; et je te garderai partout où tu iras, et je te ramènerai dans cette terre-ci, car je ne t'abandonnerai pas jusqu'à ce que j'aie fait ce que je t'ai dit.

KJV ¹⁵ And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.

LSG ¹⁵ Voici, je suis avec toi, je te garderai partout où tu iras, et je te ramènerai dans ce pays ; car je ne t'abandonnerai point, que je n'aie exécuté ce que je te dis.

WLC ¹⁵ וְהִנֵּ֨ה אָנֹכִ֜י עִמָּ֗ךְ וּשְׁמַרְתִּ֙יךָ֙ בְּכֹ֣ל אֲשֶׁר־ תֵּלֵ֔ךְ וַהֲשִׁ֣בֹתִ֔יךָ אֶל־ הָאֲדָמָ֖ה הַזֹּ֑את כִּ֚י לֹ֣א אֶֽעֱזָבְךָ֔ עַ֚ד אֲשֶׁ֣ר אִם־ עָשִׂ֔יתִי אֵ֥ת אֲשֶׁר־ דִּבַּ֖רְתִּי לָֽךְ׃
