KJV ¹¹ These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.

KJV ²⁶ And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

KJV ³⁸ Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.

KJV ³² And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

S21 ³² Et moi, quand j'aurai été élevé de la terre, j'attirerai tous les hommes à moi.»

KJV ³⁶ While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.

S21 ³⁶ Pendant que vous avez la lumière, croyez en elle afin de devenir des enfants de lumière.»

S21 ⁷ Jésus lui répondit: «Ce que je fais, tu ne le sais pas maintenant, mais tu le comprendras par la suite.»

KJV ⁸ Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.

S21 ⁸ Pierre lui dit: «Non, jamais tu ne me laveras les pieds.»
Jésus lui répondit: «Si je ne te lave pas, tu n'auras pas de part avec moi.»

KJV ⁹ Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.

S21 ⁹ Simon Pierre lui dit: «Seigneur, non seulement les pieds, mais encore les mains et la tête!»

KJV ¹⁰ Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all.

S21 ¹⁰ Jésus lui dit: «Celui qui s'est baigné n'a besoin que de se laver les pieds pour être entièrement pur, et vous êtes purs, mais pas tous.»

KJV ¹¹ For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean.

KJV ²⁶ Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.

S21 ²⁶ Jésus répondit: «C'est celui à qui je donnerai le morceau que je vais tremper.»
Puis il trempa le morceau et le donna à Judas, fils de Simon, l'Iscariot.

KJV ²⁷ And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.

Jésus répondit: «Tu ne peux pas me suivre maintenant là où je vais, mais tu m'y suivras plus tard.»

S21 ³⁷ «Seigneur, lui dit Pierre, pourquoi ne puis-je pas te suivre maintenant? Je donnerai ma vie pour toi.»

KJV ³⁸ Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.
