KJV ¹ And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.

MAR ¹ Et comme [Jésus] passait, il vit un homme aveugle dès sa naissance.

KJV ² And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?

MAR ² Et ses Disciples l'interrogèrent, disant : Maître, qui a péché, celui-ci, ou son père, ou sa mère, pour être ainsi né aveugle ?

KJV ³ Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

MAR ³ Jésus répondit : ni celui-ci n'a péché, ni son père, ni sa mère ; mais [c'est] afin que les oeuvres de Dieu soient manifestées en lui.

KJV ⁴ I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

MAR ⁴ Il me faut faire les oeuvres de celui qui m'a envoyé, tandis qu'il est jour. La nuit vient en laquelle personne ne peut travailler.

KJV ⁵ As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

MAR ⁵ Pendant que je suis au monde, je suis la lumière du monde.

KJV ⁶ When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,

MAR ⁶ Ayant dit ces paroles, il cracha [en] terre, et fit de la boue avec sa salive, et mit de cette boue sur les yeux de l'aveugle.

KJV ⁷ And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.

MAR ⁷ Et lui dit : va, et te lave au réservoir de Siloé (qui veut dire envoyé) ; il y alla donc, et se lava, et il revint voyant.
