KJV ² Thus speaketh the LORD God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book.

LSG ² Ainsi parle l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël: Écris dans un livre toutes les paroles que je t'ai dites.

WLC ² כֹּֽה־ אָמַ֧ר יְהוָ֛ה אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר כְּתָב־ לְךָ֗ אֵ֧ת כָּל־ הַדְּבָרִ֛ים אֲשֶׁר־ דִּבַּ֥רְתִּי אֵלֶ֖יךָ אֶל־ סֵֽפֶר׃

KJV ³ For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.

LSG ³ Voici, les jours viennent, dit l'Éternel, où je ramènerai les captifs de mon peuple d'Israël et de Juda, dit l'Éternel ; je les ramènerai dans le pays que j'ai donné à leurs pères, et ils le posséderont.

WLC ³ כִּ֠י הִנֵּ֨ה יָמִ֤ים בָּאִים֙ נְאֻם־ יְהוָ֔ה וְ֠שַׁבְתִּי אֶת־ שְׁב֨וּת עַמִּ֧י יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל וִֽיהוּדָ֖ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֑ה וַהֲשִׁבֹתִ֗ים אֶל־ הָאָ֛רֶץ אֲשֶׁר־ נָתַ֥תִּי לַאֲבוֹתָ֖ם וִֽירֵשֽׁוּהָ׃

KJV ⁴ And these are the words that the LORD spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah.

LSG ⁴ Ce sont ici les paroles que l'Éternel a prononcées sur Israël et sur Juda.

WLC ⁴ וְאֵ֣לֶּה הַדְּבָרִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר דִּבֶּ֧ר יְהוָ֛ה אֶל־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל וְאֶל־ יְהוּדָֽה׃

KJV ⁵ For thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace.

LSG ⁵ Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Nous entendons des cris d'effroi ; C'est l'épouvante, ce n'est pas la paix.

WLC ⁵ כִּי־ כֹה֙ אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה ק֥וֹל חֲרָדָ֖ה שָׁמָ֑עְנוּ פַּ֖חַד וְאֵ֥ין שָׁלֽוֹם׃

KJV ⁶ Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?

LSG ⁶ Informez-vous, et regardez si un mâle enfante ! Pourquoi vois-je tous les hommes les mains sur leurs reins, Comme une femme en travail ? Pourquoi tous les visages sont-ils devenus pâles ?

WLC ⁶ שַׁאֲלוּ־ נָ֣א וּרְא֔וּ אִם־ יֹלֵ֖ד זָכָ֑ר מַדּוּעַ֩ רָאִ֨יתִי כָל־ גֶּ֜בֶר יָדָ֤יו עַל־ חֲלָצָיו֙ כַּיּ֣וֹלֵדָ֔ה וְנֶהֶפְכ֥וּ כָל־ פָּנִ֖ים לְיֵרָקֽוֹן׃

KJV ⁷ Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.

LSG ⁷ Malheur ! car ce jour est grand ; Il n'y en a point eu de semblable. C'est un temps d'angoisse pour Jacob ; Mais il en sera délivré.

WLC ⁷ ה֗וֹי כִּ֥י גָד֛וֹל הַיּ֥וֹם הַה֖וּא מֵאַ֣יִן כָּמֹ֑הוּ וְעֵֽת־ צָרָ֥ה הִיא֙ לְיַֽעֲקֹ֔ב וּמִמֶּ֖נָּה יִוָּשֵֽׁעַ׃

KJV ⁸ For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him:

LSG ⁸ En ce jour-là, dit l'Éternel des armées, Je briserai son joug de dessus ton cou, Je romprai tes liens, Et des étrangers ne t'assujettiront plus.

WLC ⁸ וְהָיָה֩ בַיּ֨וֹם הַה֜וּא נְאֻ֣ם ׀ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֗וֹת אֶשְׁבֹּ֤ר עֻלּוֹ֙ מֵעַ֣ל צַוָּארֶ֔ךָ וּמוֹסְרוֹתֶ֖יךָ אֲנַתֵּ֑ק וְלֹא־ יַעַבְדוּ־ ב֥וֹ ע֖וֹד זָרִֽים׃

KJV ⁹ But they shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.

LSG ⁹ Ils serviront l'Éternel, leur Dieu, Et David, leur roi, que je leur susciterai.

WLC ⁹ וְעָ֣בְד֔וּ אֵ֖ת יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶ֑ם וְאֵת֙ דָּוִ֣ד מַלְכָּ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָקִ֖ים לָהֶֽם׃

KJV ¹⁰ Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid.

LSG ¹⁰ Et toi, mon serviteur Jacob, ne crains pas, dit l'Éternel ; Ne t'effraie pas, Israël ! Car je te délivrerai de la terre lointaine, Je délivrerai ta postérité du pays où elle est captive ; Jacob reviendra, il jouira du repos et de la tranquillité, Et il n'y aura personne pour le troubler.

WLC ¹⁰ וְאַתָּ֡ה אַל־ תִּירָא֩ עַבְדִּ֨י יַעֲקֹ֤ב נְאֻם־ יְהֹוָה֙ וְאַל־ תֵּחַ֣ת יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל כִּ֠י הִנְנִ֤י מוֹשִֽׁיעֲךָ֙ מֵֽרָח֔וֹק וְאֶֽת־ זַרְעֲךָ֖ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ שִׁבְיָ֑ם וְשָׁ֧ב יַעֲקֹ֛ב וְשָׁקַ֥ט וְשַׁאֲנַ֖ן וְאֵ֥ין מַחֲרִֽיד׃

KJV ¹¹ For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet I will not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.

LSG ¹¹ Car je suis avec toi, dit l'Éternel, pour te délivrer ; J'anéantirai toutes les nations parmi lesquelles je t'ai dispersé, Mais toi, je ne t'anéantirai pas ; Je te châtierai avec équité, Je ne puis pas te laisser impuni.

WLC ¹¹ כִּֽי־ אִתְּךָ֥ אֲנִ֛י נְאֻם־ יְהוָ֖ה לְהֽוֹשִׁיעֶ֑ךָ כִּי֩ אֶעֱשֶׂ֨ה כָלָ֜ה בְּכָֽל־ הַגּוֹיִ֣ם ׀ אֲשֶׁ֧ר הֲפִצוֹתִ֣יךָ שָּׁ֗ם אַ֤ךְ אֹֽתְךָ֙ לֹֽא־ אֶעֱשֶׂ֣ה כָלָ֔ה וְיִסַּרְתִּ֙יךָ֙ לַמִּשְׁפָּ֔ט וְנַקֵּ֖ה לֹ֥א אֲנַקֶּֽךָּ׃

KJV ¹² For thus saith the LORD, Thy bruise is incurable, and thy wound is grievous.

LSG ¹² Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Ta blessure est grave, Ta plaie est douloureuse.

WLC ¹² כִּ֣י כֹ֥ה אָמַ֛ר יְהוָ֖ה אָנ֣וּשׁ לְשִׁבְרֵ֑ךְ נַחְלָ֖ה מַכָּתֵֽךְ׃

KJV ¹³ There is none to plead thy cause, that thou mayest be bound up: thou hast no healing medicines.

LSG ¹³ Nul ne défend ta cause, pour bander ta plaie ; Tu n'as ni remède, ni moyen de guérison.

WLC ¹³ אֵֽין־ דָּ֥ן דִּינֵ֖ךְ לְמָז֑וֹר רְפֻא֥וֹת תְּעָלָ֖ה אֵ֥ין לָֽךְ׃

KJV ¹⁴ All thy lovers have forgotten thee; they seek thee not; for I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the multitude of thine iniquity; because thy sins were increased.

LSG ¹⁴ Tous ceux qui t'aimaient t'oublient, Aucun ne prend souci de toi ; Car je t'ai frappée comme frappe un ennemi, Je t'ai châtiée avec violence, A cause de la multitude de tes iniquités, Du grand nombre de tes péchés.

WLC ¹⁴ כָּל־ מְאַהֲבַ֣יִךְ שְׁכֵח֔וּךְ אוֹתָ֖ךְ לֹ֣א יִדְרֹ֑שׁוּ כִּי֩ מַכַּ֨ת אוֹיֵ֤ב הִכִּיתִיךְ֙ מוּסַ֣ר אַכְזָרִ֔י עַ֚ל רֹ֣ב עֲוֺנֵ֔ךְ עָצְמ֖וּ חַטֹּאתָֽיִךְ׃

KJV ¹⁵ Why criest thou for thine affliction? thy sorrow is incurable for the multitude of thine iniquity: because thy sins were increased, I have done these things unto thee.

LSG ¹⁵ Pourquoi te plaindre de ta blessure, De la douleur que cause ton mal ? C'est à cause de la multitude de tes iniquités, Du grand nombre de tes péchés, Que je t'ai fait souffrir ces choses.

WLC ¹⁵ מַה־ תִּזְעַק֙ עַל־ שִׁבְרֵ֔ךְ אָנ֖וּשׁ מַכְאֹבֵ֑ךְ עַ֣ל ׀ רֹ֣ב עֲוֺנֵ֗ךְ עָֽצְמוּ֙ חַטֹּאתַ֔יִךְ עָשִׂ֥יתִי אֵ֖לֶּה לָֽךְ׃

KJV ¹⁶ Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey.

LSG ¹⁶ Cependant, tous ceux qui te dévorent seront dévorés, Et tout tes ennemis, tous, iront en captivité ; Ceux qui te dépouillent seront dépouillés, Et j'abandonnerai au pillage tous ceux qui te pillent.

WLC ¹⁶ לָכֵ֞ן כָּל־ אֹכְלַ֙יִךְ֙ יֵאָכֵ֔לוּ וְכָל־ צָרַ֥יִךְ כֻּלָּ֖ם בַּשְּׁבִ֣י יֵלֵ֑כוּ וְהָי֤וּ שֹׁאסַ֙יִךְ֙ לִמְשִׁסָּ֔ה וְכָל־ בֹּזְזַ֖יִךְ אֶתֵּ֥ן לָבַֽז׃

KJV ¹⁷ For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.

LSG ¹⁷ Mais je te guérirai, je panserai tes plaies, Dit l'Éternel. Car ils t'appellent la repoussée, Cette Sion dont nul ne prend souci.

WLC ¹⁷ כִּי֩ אַעֲלֶ֨ה אֲרֻכָ֥ה לָ֛ךְ וּמִמַּכּוֹתַ֥יִךְ אֶרְפָּאֵ֖ךְ נְאֻם־ יְהוָ֑ה כִּ֤י נִדָּחָה֙ קָ֣רְאוּ לָ֔ךְ צִיּ֣וֹן הִ֔יא דֹּרֵ֖שׁ אֵ֥ין לָֽהּ׃

KJV ¹⁸ Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob's tents, and have mercy on his dwellingplaces; and the city shall be builded upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof.

LSG ¹⁸ Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Voici, je ramène les captifs des tentes de Jacob, J'ai compassion de ses demeures ; La ville sera rebâtie sur ses ruines, Le palais sera rétabli comme il était.

WLC ¹⁸ כֹּ֣ה ׀ אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֗ה הִנְנִי־ שָׁב֙ שְׁבוּת֙ אָהֳלֵ֣י יַֽעֲק֔וֹב וּמִשְׁכְּנֹתָ֖יו אֲרַחֵ֑ם וְנִבְנְתָ֥ה עִיר֙ עַל־ תִּלָּ֔הּ וְאַרְמ֖וֹן עַל־ מִשְׁפָּט֥וֹ יֵשֵֽׁב׃

KJV ¹⁹ And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.

LSG ¹⁹ Du milieu d'eux s'élèveront des actions de grâces Et des cris de réjouissance ; Je les multiplierai, et ils ne diminueront pas ; Je les honorerai, et ils ne seront pas méprisés.

WLC ¹⁹ וְיָצָ֥א מֵהֶ֛ם תּוֹדָ֖ה וְק֣וֹל מְשַׂחֲקִ֑ים וְהִרְבִּתִים֙ וְלֹ֣א יִמְעָ֔טוּ וְהִכְבַּדְתִּ֖ים וְלֹ֥א יִצְעָֽרוּ׃

KJV ²⁰ Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them.

LSG ²⁰ Ses fils seront comme autrefois, Son assemblée subsistera devant moi, Et je châtierai tous ses oppresseurs.

WLC ²⁰ וְהָי֤וּ בָנָיו֙ כְּקֶ֔דֶם וַעֲדָת֖וֹ לְפָנַ֣י תִּכּ֑וֹן וּפָ֣קַדְתִּ֔י עַ֖ל כָּל־ לֹחֲצָֽיו׃

KJV ²¹ And their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who is this that engaged his heart to approach unto me? saith the LORD.

LSG ²¹ Son chef sera tiré de son sein, Son dominateur sortira du milieu de lui ; Je le ferai approcher, et il viendra vers moi ; Car qui oserait de lui-même s'approcher de moi ? Dit l'Éternel.

WLC ²¹ וְהָיָ֨ה אַדִּיר֜וֹ מִמֶּ֗נּוּ וּמֹֽשְׁלוֹ֙ מִקִּרְבּ֣וֹ יֵצֵ֔א וְהִקְרַבְתִּ֖יו וְנִגַּ֣שׁ אֵלָ֑י כִּי֩ מִ֨י הוּא־ זֶ֜ה עָרַ֧ב אֶת־ לִבּ֛וֹ לָגֶ֥שֶׁת אֵלַ֖י נְאֻם־ יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ²² And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

LSG ²² Vous serez mon peuple, Et je serai votre Dieu.

WLC ²² וִהְיִ֥יתֶם לִ֖י לְעָ֑ם וְאָ֣נֹכִ֔י אֶהְיֶ֥ה לָכֶ֖ם לֵאלֹהִֽים׃

KJV ²³ Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked.

LSG ²³ Voici, la tempête de l'Éternel, la fureur éclate, L'orage se précipite, Il fond sur la tête des méchants.

WLC ²³ הִנֵּ֣ה ׀ סַעֲרַ֣ת יְהוָ֗ה חֵמָה֙ יָֽצְאָ֔ה סַ֖עַר מִתְגּוֹרֵ֑ר עַ֛ל רֹ֥אשׁ רְשָׁעִ֖ים יָחֽוּל׃

KJV ²⁴ The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until he hath done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it.

LSG ²⁴ La colère ardente de l'Éternel ne se calmera pas, Jusqu'à ce qu'il ait accompli, exécuté les desseins de son coeur. Vous le comprendrez dans la suite des temps.

WLC ²⁴ לֹ֣א יָשׁ֗וּב חֲרוֹן֙ אַף־ יְהוָ֔ה עַד־ עֲשֹׂת֥וֹ וְעַד־ הֲקִימ֖וֹ מְזִמּ֣וֹת לִבּ֑וֹ בְּאַחֲרִ֥ית הַיָּמִ֖ים תִּתְבּ֥וֹנְנוּ בָֽהּ׃

KJV ¹ At the same time, saith the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.

LSG ¹ En ce temps-là, dit l'Éternel, Je serai le Dieu de toutes les familles d'Israël, Et ils seront mon peuple.

WLC ¹ בָּעֵ֤ת הַהִיא֙ נְאֻם־ יְהוָ֔ה אֶֽהְיֶה֙ לֵֽאלֹהִ֔ים לְכֹ֖ל מִשְׁפְּח֣וֹת יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְהֵ֖מָּה יִֽהְיוּ־ לִ֥י לְעָֽם׃

KJV ² Thus saith the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.

LSG ² Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Il a trouvé grâce dans le désert, Le peuple de ceux qui ont échappé au glaive ; Israël marche vers son lieu de repos.

WLC ² כֹּ֚ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה מָצָ֥א חֵן֙ בַּמִּדְבָּ֔ר עַ֖ם שְׂרִ֣ידֵי חָ֑רֶב הָל֥וֹךְ לְהַרְגִּיע֖וֹ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

KJV ³ The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

LSG ³ De loin l'Éternel se montre à moi: Je t'aime d'un amour éternel ; C'est pourquoi je te conserve ma bonté.

WLC ³ מֵרָח֕וֹק יְהוָ֖ה נִרְאָ֣ה לִ֑י וְאַהֲבַ֤ת עוֹלָם֙ אֲהַבְתִּ֔יךְ עַל־ כֵּ֖ן מְשַׁכְתִּ֥יךְ חָֽסֶד׃

KJV ⁴ Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry.

LSG ⁴ Je te rétablirai encore, et tu seras rétablie, Vierge d'Israël ! Tu auras encore tes tambourins pour parure, Et tu sortiras au milieu des danses joyeuses.

WLC ⁴ ע֤וֹד אֶבְנֵךְ֙ וְֽנִבְנֵ֔ית בְּתוּלַ֖ת יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל ע֚וֹד תַּעְדִּ֣י תֻפַּ֔יִךְ וְיָצָ֖את בִּמְח֥וֹל מְשַׂחֲקִֽים׃

KJV ⁵ Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.

LSG ⁵ Tu planteras encore des vignes sur les montagnes de Samarie ; Les planteurs planteront, et cueilleront les fruits.

WLC ⁵ ע֚וֹד תִּטְּעִ֣י כְרָמִ֔ים בְּהָרֵ֖י שֹֽׁמְר֑וֹן נָטְע֥וּ נֹטְעִ֖ים וְחִלֵּֽלוּ׃

KJV ⁶ For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.

LSG ⁶ Car le jour vient où les gardes crieront sur la montagne d'Éphraïm:

WLC ⁶ כִּ֣י יֶשׁ־ י֔וֹם קָרְא֥וּ נֹצְרִ֖ים בְּהַ֣ר אֶפְרָ֑יִם ק֚וּמוּ וְנַעֲלֶ֣ה צִיּ֔וֹן אֶל־ יְהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃

KJV ⁷ For thus saith the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.

LSG ⁷ Levez-vous, montons à Sion, vers l'Éternel, notre Dieu ! Car ainsi parle l'Éternel: Poussez des cris de joie sur Jacob, Éclatez d'allégresse à la tête des nations ! Élevez vos voix, chantez des louanges, et dites: Éternel, délivre ton peuple, le reste d'Israël !

WLC ⁷ כִּי־ כֹ֣ה ׀ אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֗ה רָנּ֤וּ לְיַֽעֲקֹב֙ שִׂמְחָ֔ה וְצַהֲל֖וּ בְּרֹ֣אשׁ הַגּוֹיִ֑ם הַשְׁמִ֤יעוּ הַֽלְלוּ֙ וְאִמְר֔וּ הוֹשַׁ֤ע יְהוָה֙ אֶֽת־ עַמְּךָ֔ אֵ֖ת שְׁאֵרִ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

KJV ⁸ Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither.

LSG ⁸ Voici, je les ramène du pays du septentrion, Je les rassemble des extrémités de la terre ; Parmi eux sont l'aveugle et le boiteux, La femme enceinte et celle en travail ; C'est une grande multitude, qui revient ici.

WLC ⁸ הִנְנִי֩ מֵבִ֨יא אוֹתָ֜ם מֵאֶ֣רֶץ צָפ֗וֹן וְקִבַּצְתִּים֮ מִיַּרְכְּתֵי־ אָרֶץ֒ בָּ֚ם עִוֵּ֣ר וּפִסֵּ֔חַ הָרָ֥ה וְיֹלֶ֖דֶת יַחְדָּ֑ו קָהָ֥ל גָּד֖וֹל יָשׁ֥וּבוּ הֵֽנָּה׃

KJV ⁹ They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.

LSG ⁹ Ils viennent en pleurant, et je les conduis au milieu de leurs supplications ; Je les mène vers des torrents d'eau, Par un chemin uni où ils ne chancellent pas ; Car je suis un père pour Israël, Et Éphraïm est mon premier-né.

WLC ⁹ בִּבְכִ֣י יָבֹ֗אוּ וּֽבְתַחֲנוּנִים֮ אֽוֹבִילֵם֒ אֽוֹלִיכֵם֙ אֶל־ נַ֣חֲלֵי מַ֔יִם בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ יָשָׁ֔ר לֹ֥א יִכָּשְׁל֖וּ בָּ֑הּ כִּֽי־ הָיִ֤יתִי לְיִשְׂרָאֵל֙ לְאָ֔ב וְאֶפְרַ֖יִם בְּכֹ֥רִי הֽוּא׃

KJV ¹¹ For the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.

LSG ¹¹ Car l'Éternel rachète Jacob, Il le délivre de la main d'un plus fort que lui.

WLC ¹¹ כִּֽי־ פָדָ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶֽת־ יַעֲקֹ֑ב וּגְאָל֕וֹ מִיַּ֖ד חָזָ֥ק מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃

KJV ¹² Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.

LSG ¹² Ils viendront, et pousseront des cris de joie sur les hauteurs de Sion ; Ils accourront vers les biens de l'Éternel, Le blé, le moût, l'huile, Les brebis et les boeufs ; Leur âne sera comme un jardin arrosé, Et ils ne seront plus dans la souffrance.

WLC ¹² וּבָאוּ֮ וְרִנְּנ֣וּ בִמְרוֹם־ צִיּוֹן֒ וְנָהֲר֞וּ אֶל־ ט֣וּב יְהוָ֗ה עַל־ דָּגָן֙ וְעַל־ תִּירֹ֣שׁ וְעַל־ יִצְהָ֔ר וְעַל־ בְּנֵי־ צֹ֖אן וּבָקָ֑ר וְהָיְתָ֤ה נַפְשָׁם֙ כְּגַ֣ן רָוֶ֔ה וְלֹא־ יוֹסִ֥יפוּ לְדַאֲבָ֖ה עֽוֹד׃

KJV ¹³ Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.

LSG ¹³ Alors les jeunes filles se réjouiront à la danse, Les jeunes hommes et les vieillards se réjouiront aussi ; Je changerai leur deuil en allégresse, et je les consolerai ; Je leur donnerai de la joie après leurs chagrins.

WLC ¹³ אָ֣ז תִּשְׂמַ֤ח בְּתוּלָה֙ בְּמָח֔וֹל וּבַחֻרִ֥ים וּזְקֵנִ֖ים יַחְדָּ֑ו וְהָפַכְתִּ֨י אֶבְלָ֤ם לְשָׂשׂוֹן֙ וְנִ֣חַמְתִּ֔ים וְשִׂמַּחְתִּ֖ים מִיגוֹנָֽם׃

KJV ¹⁴ And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the LORD.

LSG ¹⁴ Je rassasierai de graisse l'âme des sacrificateurs, Et mon peuple se rassasiera de mes biens, dit l'Éternel.

WLC ¹⁴ וְרִוֵּיתִ֛י נֶ֥פֶשׁ הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים דָּ֑שֶׁן וְעַמִּ֛י אֶת־ טוּבִ֥י יִשְׂבָּ֖עוּ נְאֻם־ יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ¹⁵ Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.

LSG ¹⁵ Ainsi parle l'Éternel: On entend des cris à Rama, Des lamentations, des larmes amères ; Rachel pleure ses enfants ; Elle refuse d'être consolée sur ses enfants, Car ils ne sont plus.

WLC ¹⁵ כֹּ֣ה ׀ אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֗ה ק֣וֹל בְּרָמָ֤ה נִשְׁמָע֙ נְהִי֙ בְּכִ֣י תַמְרוּרִ֔ים רָחֵ֖ל מְבַכָּ֣ה עַל־ בָּנֶ֑יהָ מֵאֲנָ֛ה לְהִנָּחֵ֥ם עַל־ בָּנֶ֖יהָ כִּ֥י אֵינֶֽנּוּ׃

KJV ¹⁶ Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.

LSG ¹⁶ Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Retiens tes pleurs, Retiens les larmes de tes yeux ; Car il y aura un salaire pour tes oeuvres, dit l'Éternel ; Ils reviendront du pays de l'ennemi.

KJV ¹⁷ And there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that thy children shall come again to their own border.

KJV ¹⁸ I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the LORD my God.

KJV ¹⁹ Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.

WLC ¹⁹ כִּֽי־ אַחֲרֵ֤י שׁוּבִי֙ נִחַ֔מְתִּי וְאַֽחֲרֵי֙ הִוָּ֣דְעִ֔י סָפַ֖קְתִּי עַל־ יָרֵ֑ךְ בֹּ֚שְׁתִּי וְגַם־ נִכְלַ֔מְתִּי כִּ֥י נָשָׂ֖אתִי חֶרְפַּ֥ת נְעוּרָֽי׃

KJV ²⁰ Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD.

LSG ²⁰ Éphraïm est-il donc pour moi un fils chéri, Un enfant qui fait mes délices ? Car plus je parle de lui, plus encore son souvenir est en moi ; Aussi mes entrailles sont émues en sa faveur: J'aurai pitié de lui, dit l'Éternel. -

WLC ²⁰ הֲבֵן֩ יַקִּ֨יר לִ֜י אֶפְרַ֗יִם אִ֚ם יֶ֣לֶד שַׁעֲשֻׁעִ֔ים כִּֽי־ מִדֵּ֤י דַבְּרִי֙ בּ֔וֹ זָכֹ֥ר אֶזְכְּרֶ֖נּוּ ע֑וֹד עַל־ כֵּ֗ן הָמ֤וּ מֵעַי֙ ל֔וֹ רַחֵ֥ם אֲ‍ֽרַחֲמֶ֖נּוּ נְאֻם־ יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ²¹ Set thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps: set thine heart toward the highway, even the way which thou wentest: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities.

KJV ²² How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.

LSG ²² Jusques à quand seras-tu errante, Fille égarée ? Car l'Éternel crée une chose nouvelle sur la terre: La femme recherchera l'homme.

WLC ²² עַד־ מָתַי֙ תִּתְחַמָּקִ֔ין הַבַּ֖ת הַשּֽׁוֹבֵבָ֑ה כִּֽי־ בָרָ֨א יְהוָ֤ה חֲדָשָׁה֙ בָּאָ֔רֶץ נְקֵבָ֖ה תְּס֥וֹבֵֽב גָּֽבֶר׃

KJV ²³ Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless thee, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.

KJV ²⁴ And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks.

KJV ²⁵ For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.

KJV ²⁶ Upon this I awaked, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet unto me.

KJV ²⁷ Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.

KJV ²⁸ And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, saith the LORD.

LSG ²⁸ Et comme j'ai veillé sur eux Pour arracher, abattre, détruire, ruiner et faire du mal, Ainsi je veillerai sur eux pour bâtir et pour planter, Dit l'Éternel.

WLC ²⁸ וְהָיָ֞ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֧ר שָׁקַ֣דְתִּי עֲלֵיהֶ֗ם לִנְת֧וֹשׁ וְלִנְת֛וֹץ וְלַהֲרֹ֖ס וּלְהַאֲבִ֣יד וּלְהָרֵ֑עַ כֵּ֣ן אֶשְׁקֹ֧ד עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם לִבְנ֥וֹת וְלִנְט֖וֹעַ נְאֻם־ יְהוָֽה׃

KJV ²⁹ In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge.

LSG ²⁹ En ces jours-là, on ne dira plus: Les pères ont mangé des raisins verts, Et les dents des enfants en ont été agacées.

WLC ²⁹ בַּיָּמִ֣ים הָהֵ֔ם לֹא־ יֹאמְר֣וּ ע֔וֹד אָב֖וֹת אָ֣כְלוּ בֹ֑סֶר וְשִׁנֵּ֥י בָנִ֖ים תִּקְהֶֽינָה׃

KJV ³⁰ But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.

LSG ³⁰ Mais chacun mourra pour sa propre iniquité ; Tout homme qui mangera des raisins verts, Ses dents en seront agacées.
