DRB ¹ Il y avait dans le pays d'Uts un homme dont le nom était Job ; et cet homme était parfait* et droit, craignant Dieu et se retirant du mal.

KJV ¹ There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.

DRB ² Et il lui naquit sept fils et trois filles ;

KJV ² And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters.

WLC ² וַיִּוָּ֥לְדוּ ל֛וֹ שִׁבְעָ֥ה בָנִ֖ים וְשָׁל֥וֹשׁ בָּנֽוֹת׃

DRB ³ et il possédait sept mille brebis*, et trois mille chameaux, et cinq cents paires de bœufs, et cinq cents ânesses ; et [il avait] un très grand nombre de serviteurs ; et cet homme était plus grand que tous les fils de l'orient.
