BAN ³² Et l'on menait aussi deux autres qui étaient des malfaiteurs, pour les faire mourir avec lui.

KJV ³² And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death.

BAN ³³ Et quand ils furent arrivés au lieu appelé Crâne, ils le crucifièrent là, et les malfaiteurs, l'un à sa droite, l'autre à sa gauche.

KJV ³³ And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.

BAN ³⁴ Mais Jésus disait : Père, pardonne-leur, car ils ne savent ce qu'ils font. Or, faisant le partage de ses vêtements, ils les tirèrent au sort.

KJV ³⁴ Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

BAN ³⁵ Et le peuple se tenait là, regardant. Et les magistrats se moquaient disant : Il a sauvé les autres, qu'il se sauve lui-même, si c'est lui qui est le Christ, l'Elu de Dieu !

KJV ³⁵ And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.

BAN ³⁶ Et les soldats aussi se moquaient de lui, s'approchant, lui présentant du vinaigre,

KJV ³⁶ And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar,

BAN ³⁷ et disant : Si tu es le roi des Juifs, sauve-toi toi-même !

KJV ³⁷ And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.

BAN ³⁸ Et il y avait aussi au-dessus de lui une inscription : Celui-ci Est Le Roi Des Juifs.

KJV ³⁸ And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

BAN ³⁹ Or, l'un des malfaiteurs crucifiés l'injuriait, disant : N'es-tu pas le Christ ? sauve-toi toi-même, et nous aussi !

KJV ³⁹ And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.

BAN ⁴⁰ Mais l'autre, répondant, dit en le réprimandant : Ne crains-tu point Dieu, toi qui subis le même jugement ?

KJV ⁴⁰ But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

BAN ⁴¹ Et pour nous, c'est avec justice, car nous recevons ce que méritent nos actions ; mais celui-ci n'a rien fait de mal.

KJV ⁴¹ And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

BAN ⁴² Et il disait à Jésus : Souviens-toi de moi, Seigneur, quand tu viendras dans ton royaume !

KJV ⁴² And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

BAN ⁴³ Et Jésus lui dit : En vérité, je te le dis, aujourd'hui tu seras avec moi dans le paradis.

KJV ⁴³ And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
