KJV ⁴⁰ The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.

BCC ⁴¹ Pourquoi regardes-tu la paille qui est dans l'oeil de ton frère, et ne remarques-tu pas la poutre qui est dans ton oeil à toi ?

KJV ⁴¹ And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

BCC ⁴² Ou comment peux-tu dire à ton frère : "frère, laisse-moi ôter la paille qui est dans ton oeil, " toi qui ne vois pas la poutre qui est dans ton oeil ? Hypocrite, ôte d'abord la poutre de ton oeil, et alors tu verras à ôter la paille qui est dans l'oeil de ton frère.

KJV ⁴² Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.

BCC ⁴³ En effet, il n'y a pas de bon arbre qui donne de mauvais fruits, ni non plus de mauvais arbre qui donne de bons fruits ;

KJV ⁴³ For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

BCC ⁴⁴ car chaque arbre se reconnaît à son propre fruit. On ne cueille pas des figues sur les épines ; on ne ramasse pas de raisin sur les ronces.

KJV ⁴⁴ For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.

BCC ⁴⁵ L'homme bon sort le bien du trésor de bonté de son coeur ; et, du (trésor) de sa malice, l'homme mauvais sort le mal ; car sa bouche parle du trop-plein du coeur.
