BCC ⁴ mais les sages avaient pris de l'huile dans leurs vases avec leurs lampes.

KJV ⁴ But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

TR1550 ⁴ αἱ δὲ φρόνιμοι ἔλαβον ἔλαιον ἐν τοῖς ἀγγείοις αὐτῶν μετὰ τῶν λαμπάδων ἀυτῶν

BCC ⁵ Comme l'époux tardait, elles s'assoupirent toutes et s'endormirent.

KJV ⁵ While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

TR1550 ⁵ χρονίζοντος δὲ τοῦ νυμφίου ἐνύσταξαν πᾶσαι καὶ ἐκάθευδον

BCC ⁶ Au milieu de la nuit, un cri se fit (entendre) : "voici l'époux ! Allez à sa rencontre !"

KJV ⁶ And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

TR1550 ⁶ μέσης δὲ νυκτὸς κραυγὴ γέγονεν ἰδού ὁ νυμφίος ἔρχεται ἐξέρχεσθε εἰς ἀπάντησιν αὐτοῦ

BCC ⁷ Alors toutes ces vierges se levèrent et préparèrent leurs lampes.

KJV ⁷ Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

TR1550 ⁷ τότε ἠγέρθησαν πᾶσαι αἱ παρθένοι ἐκεῖναι καὶ ἐκόσμησαν τὰς λαμπάδας ἀυτῶν

BCC ⁸ Et les folles dirent aux sages : donnez-nous de votre huile, car nos lampes s'éteignent."

KJV ⁸ And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

BCC ⁹ Les sages répondirent : "de crainte qu'il n'y en ait pas assez pour nous et pour vous, allez plutôt chez ceux qui en vendent, et achetez-en pour vous."

KJV ⁹ But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

TR1550 ⁹ ἀπεκρίθησαν δὲ αἱ φρόνιμοι λέγουσαι μήποτε οὐκ ἀρκέσῃ ἡμῖν καὶ ὑμῖν πορεύεσθε δὲ μᾶλλον πρὸς τοὺς πωλοῦντας καὶ ἀγοράσατε ἑαυταῖς

BCC ¹⁰ Mais, pendant qu'elles s'en allaient en acheter, l'époux arriva, et celles qui étaient prêtes entrèrent avec lui au festin des noces, et la porte fut fermée.

KJV ¹⁰ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

TR1550 ¹⁰ ἀπερχομένων δὲ αὐτῶν ἀγοράσαι ἦλθεν ὁ νυμφίος καὶ αἱ ἕτοιμοι εἰσῆλθον μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ εἰς τοὺς γάμους καὶ ἐκλείσθη ἡ θύρα

BCC ¹¹ Plus tard, les autres vierges vinrent aussi, disant : " Seigneur, Seigneur, ouvrez-nous ! "

KJV ¹¹ Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

KJV ¹² But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

KJV ¹³ Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
