KJV ²³ Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;

KJV ²⁴ No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

OST ²⁴ Nul ne peut servir deux maîtres; car, ou il haïra l'un, et aimera l'autre; ou il s'attachera à l'un, et méprisera l'autre. Vous ne pouvez servir Dieu et Mammon.

KJV ²⁸ And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

KJV ³² (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

KJV ³³ But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

KJV ⁴ Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

OST ⁴ Ou comment dis-tu à ton frère: Permets que j'ôte cette paille de ton oeil, et voici une poutre est dans le tien?

KJV ⁵ Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

OST ⁵ Hypocrite! ôte premièrement de ton oeil la poutre, et alors tu penseras à ôter la paille de l'oeil de ton frère.

KJV ⁶ Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

KJV ¹¹ If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

KJV ¹⁶ Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

OST ¹⁶ Vous les reconnaîtrez à leurs fruits. Cueille-t-on des raisins sur des épines, ou des figues sur des chardons?

KJV ¹⁷ Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

OST ¹⁷ Ainsi tout bon arbre porte de bons fruits; mais le mauvais arbre porte de mauvais fruits.

KJV ¹⁸ A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

OST ²² Plusieurs me diront en ce jour-là: Seigneur! Seigneur! n'avons-nous pas prophétisé en ton nom? et n'avons-nous pas chassé les démons en ton nom? et n'avons-nous pas fait plusieurs miracles en ton nom?

OST ²⁵ Et la pluie est tombée, et les torrents se sont débordés, et les vents ont soufflé, et ont fondu sur cette maison-là; elle n'est point tombée, car elle était fondée sur le roc.

OST ²⁶ Mais quiconque entend ces paroles que je dis, et ne les met pas en pratique, sera comparé à un homme insensé qui a bâti sa maison sur le sable;
