KJV ¹ When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.

OST ¹ Quand Jésus fut descendu de la montagne, une grande multitude de peuple le suivit.

KJV ² And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

OST ² Et voici, un lépreux vint se prosterner devant lui, et lui dit: Seigneur, si tu le veux, tu peux me nettoyer.

KJV ³ And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

OST ³ Et Jésus, étendant la main le toucha, et lui dit: Je le veux, sois nettoyé. Et aussitôt il fut nettoyé de sa lèpre.

KJV ⁴ And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

OST ⁴ Puis Jésus lui dit: Garde-toi de le dire à personne; mais va-t'en, montre-toi au sacrificateur, et offre le don que Moïse a ordonné, afin que cela leur serve de témoignage.

KJV ⁵ And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,

OST ⁵ Et Jésus étant entré dans Capernaüm, un centenier vint à lui, le priant, et lui disant:

KJV ⁶ And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.

OST ⁶ Seigneur! mon serviteur est au lit dans la maison, malade de paralysie, et fort tourmenté.

KJV ⁷ And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.

OST ⁷ Et Jésus lui dit: J'irai, et je le guérirai.

KJV ⁸ The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

OST ⁸ Et le centenier répondit, et lui dit: Seigneur! je ne suis pas digne que tu entres sous mon toit; mais dis seulement une parole, et mon serviteur sera guéri.

KJV ⁹ For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.

OST ⁹ Car quoique je sois un homme soumis à la puissance d'autrui, j'ai sous moi des soldats, et je dis à l'un: Va, et il va; et à l'autre: Viens, et il vient; et à mon serviteur: Fais cela, et il le fait.

KJV ¹⁰ When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

OST ¹⁰ Jésus l'ayant entendu, en fut étonné, et il dit à ceux qui le suivaient: Je vous dis en vérité que je n'ai point trouvé une si grande foi, pas même en Israël.

KJV ¹¹ And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

OST ¹¹ Aussi je vous dis que plusieurs viendront d'Orient et d'Occident, et seront à table dans le royaume des cieux, avec Abraham, Isaac et Jacob,

KJV ¹² But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

OST ¹² Mais que les enfants du royaume seront jetés dans les ténèbres de dehors; là seront les pleurs et les grincements de dents.

KJV ¹³ And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

OST ¹³ Alors Jésus dit au centenier: Va, et qu'il te soit fait selon que tu as cru; et à l'heure même son serviteur fut guéri.
