BAN ¹ Or, étant entré dans la barque, il traversa le lac et vint dans sa ville.

KJV ¹ And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city.

BAN ² Et voici, on lui apporta un paralytique couché sur un lit. Et Jésus voyant leur foi, dit au paralytique : Prends courage, mon enfant, tes péchés sont pardonnes.

KJV ² And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.

BAN ³ Et voici, quelques-uns des scribes dirent en eux-mêmes : Celui-ci blasphème.

KJV ³ And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.

BAN ⁴ Et Jésus, voyant leurs pensées, dit : Pourquoi pensez-vous de mauvaises choses dans vos coeurs ?

KJV ⁴ And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?

BAN ⁵ Car lequel est le plus aisé, de dire : Tes péchés sont pardonnés, ou de dire : Lève-toi et marche ?

KJV ⁵ For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?

BAN ⁶ Or, afin que vous sachiez que le fils de l'homme a sur la terre le pouvoir de pardonner les péchés,... lève-toi, dit-il alors au paralytique, prends ton lit et va-t'en dans ta maison.

KJV ⁶ But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.

BAN ⁷ Et s'étant levé, il s'en alla dans sa maison.

KJV ⁷ And he arose, and departed to his house.

BAN ⁸ Ce que les foules ayant vu, elles furent remplies de crainte, et elles glorifièrent Dieu, qui a donné un tel pouvoir aux hommes.

KJV ⁸ But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.
