KJV ² Let the children of Israel also keep the passover at his appointed season.

BAN ³ Vous la ferez au temps fixé, le quatorzième jour, de ce mois, dans la soirée ; vous la ferez selon tous les statuts et toutes les ordonnances qui la concernent.

KJV ³ In the fourteenth day of this month, at even, ye shall keep it in his appointed season: according to all the rites of it, and according to all the ceremonies thereof, shall ye keep it.

VULC ³ quartadecima die mensis hujus ad vesperam, juxta omnes cæremonias et justificationes ejus.

BAN ⁴ Et Moïse parla aux fils d'Israël, afin qu'ils fissent la Pâque.

KJV ⁴ And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, that they should keep the passover.

VULC ⁴ Præcepitque Moyses filiis Israël ut facerent Phase.

BAN ⁵ Et ils firent la Pâque, le premier mois, le quatorzième jour du mois, dans la soirée, au désert de Sinaï ; selon tout ce que l'Eternel avait ordonné à Moïse, ainsi firent les fils d'Israël.

KJV ⁵ And they kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month at even in the wilderness of Sinai: according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did the children of Israel.

VULC ⁵ Qui fecerunt tempore suo, quartadecima die mensis ad vesperam, in monte Sinai. Juxta omnia quæ mandaverat Dominus Moysi, fecerunt filii Israël.

BAN ⁶ Et il y eut des hommes qui se trouvaient souillés à cause d'un cadavre et qui ne purent faire la Pâque ce jour-là ; et ils se présentèrent devant Moïse et devant Aaron en ce même jour ;

KJV ⁶ And there were certain men, who were defiled by the dead body of a man, that they could not keep the passover on that day: and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day:

VULC ⁶ Ecce autem quidam immundi super anima hominis, qui non poterant facere Phase in die illo, accedentes ad Moysen et Aaron,

BAN ⁷ et ces hommes lui dirent : Nous sommes souillés à cause d'un cadavre ; pourquoi serions-nous privés de présenter l'offrande de l'Eternel au temps fixé, au milieu des fils d'Israël ?

KJV ⁷ And those men said unto him, We are defiled by the dead body of a man: wherefore are we kept back, that we may not offer an offering of the LORD in his appointed season among the children of Israel?

VULC ⁷ dixerunt eis : Immundi sumus super anima hominis : quare fraudamur ut non valeamus oblationem offerre Domino in tempore suo inter filios Israël ?

BAN ⁸ Et Moïse leur dit : Restez là et j'entendrai ce que l'Eternel ordonnera à votre égard.

KJV ⁸ And Moses said unto them, Stand still, and I will hear what the LORD will command concerning you.

VULC ⁸ Quibus respondit Moyses : State ut consulam quid præcipiat Dominus de vobis.

BAN ⁹ Et l'Eternel parla à Moïse en disant :

BAN ¹⁰ Parle aux fils d'Israël en disant : Si quelqu'un d'entre vous se trouve souillé à cause d'un cadavre, ou en voyage au loin, qu'il soit l'un d'entre vous ou de vos descendants, il fera la Pâque en l'honneur de l'Eternel.

KJV ¹⁰ Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be in a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover unto the LORD.

VULC ¹⁰ Loquere filiis Israël : Homo, qui fuerit immundus super anima, sive in via procul in gente vestra, faciat Phase Domino

BAN ¹¹ C'est au second mois, le quatorzième jour, dans la soirée, qu'ils la feront ; ils la mangeront avec des pains sans levain et des herbes amères.

KJV ¹¹ The fourteenth day of the second month at even they shall keep it, and eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.

VULC ¹¹ in mense secundo, quartadecima die mensis ad vesperam. Cum azymis et lactucis agrestibus comedent illud :

BAN ¹² Ils n'en laisseront rien jusqu'au matin, et n'en briseront aucun os. Ils la feront selon tous les statuts de la Pâque.

KJV ¹² They shall leave none of it unto the morning, nor break any bone of it: according to all the ordinances of the passover they shall keep it.

VULC ¹² non relinquent ex eo quippiam usque mane, et os ejus non confringent : omnem ritum Phase observabunt.

BAN ¹³ Et pour celui qui est pur et qui n'est pas en voyage, s'il s'abstient de faire la Pâque, cet homme sera retranché de son peuple, parce qu'il n'a pas présenté l'offrande à l'Eternel au temps fixé, cet homme portera son péché.

KJV ¹³ But the man that is clean, and is not in a journey, and forbeareth to keep the passover, even the same soul shall be cut off from among his people: because he brought not the offering of the LORD in his appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.

VULC ¹³ Si quis autem et mundus est, et in itinere non fuit, et tamen non fecit Phase, exterminabitur anima illa de populis suis, quia sacrificium Domino non obtulit tempore suo : peccatum suum ipse portabit.

BAN ¹⁴ Si un étranger habite avec vous et fait la Pâque de l'Eternel, il la fera selon le statut de la Pâque et son ordonnance. Il y aura une seule loi pour vous, pour l'étranger comme pour l'indigène.

KJV ¹⁴ And if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the passover unto the LORD; according to the ordinance of the passover, and according to the manner thereof, so shall he do: ye shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger, and for him that was born in the land.

VULC ¹⁴ Peregrinus quoque et advena si fuerint apud vos, facient Phase Domino juxta cæremonias et justificationes ejus. Præceptum idem erit apud vos tam advenæ quam indigenæ.
