KJV ¹⁴ Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her.

DRB ¹⁵ et de là je lui donnerai ses vignes, et la vallée d'Acor pour une porte d'espérance ; et là elle chantera* comme dans les jours de sa jeunesse et comme au jour où elle monta du pays d'Égypte.

KJV ¹⁵ And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope: and she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.

WLC ¹⁵ וּפָקַדְתִּ֣י עָלֶ֗יהָ אֶת־ יְמֵ֤י הַבְּעָלִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תַּקְטִ֣יר לָהֶ֔ם וַתַּ֤עַד נִזְמָהּ֙ וְחֶלְיָתָ֔הּ וַתֵּ֖לֶךְ אַחֲרֵ֣י מְאַהֲבֶ֑יהָ וְאֹתִ֥י שָׁכְחָ֖ה נְאֻם־ יְהוָֽה׃

DRB ¹⁶ Et il arrivera, en ce jour-là, dit l'Éternel, que tu m'appelleras : Mon mari, et tu ne m'appelleras plus : Mon maître*.

KJV ¹⁶ And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD, that thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more Baali.

WLC ¹⁶ לָכֵ֗ן הִנֵּ֤ה אָֽנֹכִי֙ מְפַתֶּ֔יהָ וְהֹֽלַכְתִּ֖יהָ הַמִּדְבָּ֑ר וְדִבַּרְתִּ֖י עַל לִבָּֽהּ׃

DRB ¹⁷ Et j'ôterai de sa bouche les noms des Baals, et on ne se souviendra plus de leur nom.

KJV ¹⁷ For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name.

WLC ¹⁷ וְנָתַ֨תִּי לָ֤הּ אֶת־ כְּרָמֶ֙יהָ֙ מִשָּׁ֔ם וְאֶת־ עֵ֥מֶק עָכ֖וֹר לְפֶ֣תַח תִּקְוָ֑ה וְעָ֤נְתָה שָּׁ֙מָּה֙ כִּימֵ֣י נְעוּרֶ֔יהָ וִּכְי֖וֹם עֲלֹתָ֥הּ מֵאֶֽרֶץ־ מִצְרָֽיִם׃

DRB ¹⁸ Et je ferai pour eux, en ce jour-là, une alliance avec les bêtes des champs, et avec les oiseaux des cieux, et avec les reptiles du sol ; et j'ôterai du pays, en les brisant, l'arc et l'épée et la guerre ; et je les ferai reposer en sécurité.

KJV ¹⁸ And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely.

DRB ¹⁹ Et je te fiancerai à moi pour toujours ; et je te fiancerai à moi en justice, et en jugement, et en bonté, et en miséricorde ;

KJV ¹⁹ And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies.

WLC ¹⁹ וַהֲסִרֹתִ֛י אֶת־ שְׁמ֥וֹת הַבְּעָלִ֖ים מִפִּ֑יהָ וְלֹֽא־ יִזָּכְר֥וּ ע֖וֹד בִּשְׁמָֽם׃

DRB ²⁰ et je te fiancerai à moi en vérité ; et tu connaîtras l'Éternel.

KJV ²⁰ I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the LORD.

WLC ²⁰ וְכָרַתִּ֨י לָהֶ֤ם בְּרִית֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֔וּא עִם־ חַיַּ֤ת הַשָּׂדֶה֙ וְעִם־ ע֣וֹף הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם וְרֶ֖מֶשׂ הָֽאֲדָמָ֑ה וְקֶ֨שֶׁת וְחֶ֤רֶב וּמִלְחָמָה֙ אֶשְׁבּ֣וֹר מִן־ הָאָ֔רֶץ וְהִשְׁכַּבְתִּ֖ים לָבֶֽטַח׃

DRB ²¹ Et il arrivera, en ce jour-là, que j'exaucerai, dit l'Éternel, j'exaucerai les cieux, et eux exauceront la terre,

KJV ²¹ And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, saith the LORD, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth;

WLC ²¹ וְאֵרַשְׂתִּ֥יךְ לִ֖י לְעוֹלָ֑ם וְאֵרַשְׂתִּ֥יךְ לִי֙ בְּצֶ֣דֶק וּבְמִשְׁפָּ֔ט וּבְחֶ֖סֶד וּֽבְרַחֲמִֽים׃

DRB ²² et la terre exaucera le froment et le moût et l'huile, et eux exauceront Jizreël*.

KJV ²² And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel.

WLC ²² וְאֵרַשְׂתִּ֥יךְ לִ֖י בֶּאֱמוּנָ֑ה וְיָדַ֖עַתְּ אֶת־ יְהוָֽה׃

DRB ²³ Et je la sèmerai pour moi dans le pays, et je ferai miséricorde à Lo-Rukhama*, et je dirai à Lo-Ammi* : Tu es mon peuple, et il me dira : Mon Dieu.

KJV ²³ And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God.
