KJV ² While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.

LSG ² Je louerai l'Éternel tant que je vivrai, Je célébrerai mon Dieu tant que j'existerai.

KJV ³ Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

LSG ³ Ne vous confiez pas aux grands, Aux fils de l'homme, qui ne peuvent sauver.

KJV ⁴ His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

LSG ⁴ Leur souffle s'en va, ils rentrent dans la terre, Et ce même jour leurs desseins périssent.

KJV ⁵ Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:

LSG ⁵ Heureux celui qui a pour secours le Dieu de Jacob, Qui met son espoir en l'Éternel, son Dieu !

KJV ⁶ Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:

LSG ⁶ Il a fait les cieux et la terre, La mer et tout ce qui s'y trouve. Il garde la fidélité à toujours.

KJV ⁷ Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:

LSG ⁷ Il fait droit aux opprimés ; Il donne du pain aux affamés ; L'Éternel délivre les captifs ;

KJV ⁸ The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:

LSG ⁸ L'Éternel ouvre les yeux des aveugles ; L'Éternel redresse ceux qui sont courbés ; L'Éternel aime les justes.

KJV ⁹ The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

LSG ⁹ L'Éternel protège les étrangers, Il soutient l'orphelin et la veuve, Mais il renverse la voie des méchants.

KJV ¹⁰ The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD.

LSG ¹⁰ L'Éternel règne éternellement ; Ton Dieu, ô Sion ! subsiste d'âge en âge ! Louez l'Éternel !

KJV ¹ Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.

LSG ¹ Louez l'Éternel ! Car il est beau de célébrer notre Dieu, Car il est doux, il est bienséant de le louer.

KJV ² The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.

LSG ² L'Éternel rebâtit Jérusalem, Il rassemble les exilés d'Israël ;

KJV ³ He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

LSG ³ Il guérit ceux qui ont le coeur brisé, Et il panse leurs blessures.

KJV ⁴ He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.

LSG ⁴ Il compte le nombre des étoiles, Il leur donne à toutes des noms.

KJV ⁵ Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

LSG ⁵ Notre Seigneur est grand, puissant par sa force, Son intelligence n'a point de limite.

KJV ⁶ The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.

LSG ⁶ L'Éternel soutient les malheureux, Il abaisse les méchants jusqu'à terre.

KJV ⁷ Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:

LSG ⁷ Chantez à l'Éternel avec actions de grâces, Célébrez notre Dieu avec la harpe !

KJV ⁸ Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.

LSG ⁸ Il couvre les cieux de nuages, Il prépare la pluie pour la terre ; Il fait germer l'herbe sur les montagnes.

KJV ⁹ He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.

LSG ⁹ Il donne la nourriture au bétail, Aux petits du corbeau quand ils crient,

KJV ¹⁰ He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.

LSG ¹⁰ Ce n'est pas dans la vigueur du cheval qu'il se complaît, Ce n'est pas dans les jambes de l'homme qu'il met son plaisir ;

KJV ¹¹ The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

LSG ¹¹ L'Éternel aime ceux qui le craignent, Ceux qui espèrent en sa bonté.

KJV ¹² Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.

LSG ¹² Jérusalem, célèbre l'Éternel ! Sion, loue ton Dieu !

KJV ¹³ For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee.

LSG ¹³ Car il affermit les barres de tes portes, Il bénit tes fils au milieu de toi ;

KJV ¹⁴ He maketh peace in thy borders, and filleth thee with the finest of the wheat.

LSG ¹⁴ Il rend la paix à ton territoire, Il te rassasie du meilleur froment.

KJV ¹⁵ He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly.

LSG ¹⁵ Il envoie ses ordres sur la terre: Sa parole court avec vitesse

KJV ¹⁶ He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.

LSG ¹⁶ Il donne la neige comme de la laine, Il répand la gelée blanche comme de la cendre ;

KJV ¹⁷ He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?

LSG ¹⁷ Il lance sa glace par morceaux ; Qui peut résister devant son froid ?

KJV ¹⁸ He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.

LSG ¹⁸ Il envoie sa parole, et il les fond ; Il fait souffler son vent, et les eaux coulent.

KJV ¹⁹ He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.

LSG ¹⁹ Il révèle sa parole à Jacob, Ses lois et ses ordonnances à Israël ;

KJV ²⁰ He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.

LSG ²⁰ Il n'a pas agi de même pour toutes les nations, Et elles ne connaissent point ses ordonnances. Louez l'Éternel !

KJV ¹ Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights.

LSG ¹ Louez l'Éternel ! Louez l'Éternel du haut des cieux ! Louez-le dans les lieux élevés !

KJV ² Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.

LSG ² Louez-le, vous tous ses anges ! Louez-le, vous toutes ses armées !

KJV ³ Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.

LSG ³ Louez-le, soleil et lune ! Louez-le, vous toutes, étoiles lumineuses !

KJV ⁴ Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.

LSG ⁴ Louez-le, cieux des cieux, Et vous, eaux qui êtes au-dessus des cieux !

KJV ⁵ Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.

LSG ⁵ Qu'ils louent le nom de l'Éternel ! Car il a commandé, et ils ont été créés.

KJV ⁶ He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.

LSG ⁶ Il les a affermis pour toujours et à perpétuité ; Il a donné des lois, et il ne les violera point.

KJV ⁷ Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:

LSG ⁷ Louez l'Éternel du bas de la terre, Monstres marins, et vous tous, abîmes,

KJV ⁸ Fire, and hail; snow, and vapours; stormy wind fulfilling his word:

LSG ⁸ Feu et grêle, neige et brouillards, Vents impétueux, qui exécutez ses ordres,

KJV ⁹ Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:

LSG ⁹ Montagnes et toutes les collines, Arbres fruitiers et tous les cèdres,

KJV ¹⁰ Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:

LSG ¹⁰ Animaux et tout le bétail, Reptiles et oiseaux ailés,

KJV ¹¹ Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:

LSG ¹¹ Rois de la terre et tous les peuples, Princes et tous les juges de la terre,

KJV ¹² Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:

LSG ¹² Jeunes hommes et jeunes filles, Vieillards et enfants !

KJV ¹³ Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

LSG ¹³ Qu'ils louent le nom de l'Éternel ! Car son nom seul est élevé ; Sa majesté est au-dessus de la terre et des cieux.

KJV ¹⁴ He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD.

LSG ¹⁴ Il a relevé la force de son peuple: Sujet de louange pour tous ses fidèles, Pour les enfants d'Israël, du peuple qui est près de lui. Louez l'Éternel !

KJV ¹ Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.

LSG ¹ Louez l'Éternel ! Chantez à l'Éternel un cantique nouveau ! Chantez ses louanges dans l'assemblée des fidèles !

KJV ² Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

LSG ² Qu'Israël se réjouisse en celui qui l'a créé ! Que les fils de Sion soient dans l'allégresse à cause de leur roi !

KJV ³ Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

LSG ³ Qu'ils louent son nom avec des danses, Qu'ils le célèbrent avec le tambourin et la harpe !

KJV ⁴ For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

LSG ⁴ Car l'Éternel prend plaisir à son peuple, Il glorifie les malheureux en les sauvant.

KJV ⁵ Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

LSG ⁵ Que les fidèles triomphent dans la gloire, Qu'ils poussent des cris de joie sur leur couche !

KJV ⁶ Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;

LSG ⁶ Que les louanges de Dieu soient dans leur bouche, Et le glaive à deux tranchants dans leur main,

KJV ⁷ To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

LSG ⁷ Pour exercer la vengeance sur les nations, Pour châtier les peuples,

KJV ⁸ To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

LSG ⁸ Pour lier leurs rois avec des chaînes Et leurs grands avec des ceps de fer,

KJV ⁹ To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

LSG ⁹ Pour exécuter contre eux le jugement qui est écrit ! C'est une gloire pour tous ses fidèles. Louez l'Éternel !

KJV ¹ Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

LSG ¹ Louez l'Éternel ! Louez Dieu dans son sanctuaire ! Louez-le dans l'étendue, où éclate sa puissance !

KJV ² Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

LSG ² Louez-le pour ses hauts faits ! Louez-le selon l'immensité de sa grandeur !

KJV ³ Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.

LSG ³ Louez-le au son de la trompette ! Louez-le avec le luth et la harpe !

KJV ⁴ Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.

LSG ⁴ Louez-le avec le tambourin et avec des danses ! Louez-le avec les instruments à cordes et le chalumeau !

KJV ⁵ Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.

LSG ⁵ Louez-le avec les cymbales sonores ! Louez-le avec les cymbales retentissantes !

KJV ⁶ Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

LSG ⁶ Que tout ce qui respire loue l'Éternel ! Louez l'Éternel !
