BCC ¹ Mais un homme nommé Ananie, avec Saphire, sa femme, vendit un bien, retint sur le prix

KJV ¹ But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,

MAR ¹ Or un homme nommé Ananias, ayant avec Saphira sa femme, vendu une possession,

BCC ² de connivence avec sa femme, et en apporta une partie qu'il déposa aux pieds des apôtres.

KJV ² And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet.

MAR ² Retint une partie du prix, du consentement de sa femme, et en apporta quelque partie, et la mit aux pieds des Apôtres.

BCC ³ Et Pierre lui dit : " Ananie, pourquoi Satan a-t-il rempli ton coeur pour te faire mentir à l'Esprit-Saint et retenir sur le prix du champ ?

KJV ³ But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

MAR ³ Mais Pierre lui dit : Ananias comment satan s'est-il emparé de ton coeur jusques à t'inciter à mentir au Saint-Esprit, et à soustraire une partie du prix de la possession ?

BCC ⁴ Est-ce que, restant (non vendu), il ne restait pas à toi ? et, vendu, ne demeurait pas en ta possession ? Comment as-tu mis en ton coeur un pareil dessein ? Ce n'est point aux hommes que tu as menti, mais à Dieu. "

KJV ⁴ Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

MAR ⁴ Si tu l'eusses gardée, ne te demeurait-elle pas ? et étant vendue, n'était-elle pas en ta puissance ? Pourquoi as-tu formé un tel dessein dans ton coeur ? tu n'as pas menti aux hommes mais à Dieu.

BCC ⁵ En entendant ces paroles, Ananie tomba et expira, et tous ceux qui apprirent (la chose) furent pris d'une grande crainte.

KJV ⁵ And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

MAR ⁵ Et Ananias entendant ces paroles, tomba, et rendit l'esprit ; ce qui causa une grande crainte à tous ceux qui en entendirent parler.

BCC ⁶ Or les plus jeunes vinrent l'envelopper, l'emportèrent et l'enterrèrent.

KJV ⁶ And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.

MAR ⁶ Et quelques jeunes hommes se levant le prirent, et l'emportèrent dehors, et l'enterrèrent.
