LSG ² donnes-en une part à sept et même à huit, car tu ne sais pas quel malheur peut arriver sur la terre.

KJV ³ If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be.

LSG ³ Quand les nuages sont pleins de pluie, ils la répandent sur la terre ; et si un arbre tombe, au midi ou au nord, il reste à la place où il est tombé.

KJV ⁴ He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.

LSG ⁴ Celui qui observe le vent ne sèmera point, et celui qui regarde les nuages ne moissonnera point.

KJV ⁵ As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.

LSG ⁵ Comme tu ne sais pas quel est le chemin du vent, ni comment se forment les os dans le ventre de la femme enceinte, tu ne connais pas non plus l'oeuvre de Dieu qui fait tout.

KJV ⁶ In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.

LSG ⁶ Dès le matin sème ta semence, et le soir ne laisse pas reposer ta main ; car tu ne sais point ce qui réussira, ceci ou cela, ou si l'un et l'autre sont également bons.
