BCC ¹ Je me suis tourné et j'ai vu toutes les oppressions qui se commettent sous le soleil : et voici que les opprimés sont dans les larmes, et personne ne les console ; Ils sont en bute à la violence de leurs oppresseurs, et personne ne les console !

KJV ³ Yea, better is he than both they, which hath not yet been, who hath not seen the evil work that is done under the sun.

WLC ³ וְטוֹב֙ מִשְּׁנֵיהֶ֔ם אֵ֥ת אֲשֶׁר־ עֲדֶ֖ן לֹ֣א הָיָ֑ה אֲשֶׁ֤ר לֹֽא־ רָאָה֙ אֶת־ הַמַּעֲשֶׂ֣ה הָרָ֔ע אֲשֶׁ֥ר נַעֲשָׂ֖ה תַּ֥חַת הַשָּֽׁמֶשׁ׃

BCC ⁴ J'ai vu que tout travail et que toute habileté dans un ouvrage n'est que jalousie contre un homme de la part de son prochain : cela encore est vanité et poursuite du vent.

KJV ⁴ Again, I considered all travail, and every right work, that for this a man is envied of his neighbour. This is also vanity and vexation of spirit.

BCC ⁵ L'insensé se croise les mains, et mange sa propre chair.

KJV ⁵ The fool foldeth his hands together, and eateth his own flesh.

BCC ⁸ Tel homme est seul et n'a pas de second, il n'a ni fils ni frère, et pourtant il n'y a pas de fin à tout son travail, et ses yeux ne sont jamais rassasiés de richesses : « Pour qui donc est-ce que je travaille, et que je prive mon âme de jouissance ? » Cela encore est vanité, et mauvaise occupation.

KJV ⁸ There is one alone, and there is not a second; yea, he hath neither child nor brother: yet is there no end of all his labour; neither is his eye satisfied with riches; neither saith he, For whom do I labour, and bereave my soul of good? This is also vanity, yea, it is a sore travail.

BCC ⁹ Mieux vaut vivre à deux que solitaire ; il y a pour les deux un bon salaire dans leur travail ;

KJV ⁹ Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.

BCC ¹⁰ Car s'ils tombent, l'un peut relever son compagnon. Mais malheur à celui qui est seul, et qui tombe sans avoir un second pour le relever !

KJV ¹⁰ For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.

WLC ¹⁰ כִּ֣י אִם־ יִפֹּ֔לוּ הָאֶחָ֖ד יָקִ֣ים אֶת־ חֲבֵר֑וֹ וְאִ֣יל֗וֹ הָֽאֶחָד֙ שֶׁיִּפּ֔וֹל וְאֵ֥ין שֵׁנִ֖י לַהֲקִימֽוֹ׃

BCC ¹¹ De même, si deux couchent ensemble, ils se réchauffent ; mais un homme seul, comment aurait-il chaud !

KJV ¹¹ Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone?

KJV ¹⁶ There is no end of all the people, even of all that have been before them: they also that come after shall not rejoice in him. Surely this also is vanity and vexation of spirit.

BCC ¹⁷ Prends garde à ton pied quand tu vas à la maison de Dieu ; s'approcher pour écouter vaut mieux que d'offrir des victimes à la manière des insensés ; car leur ignorance les conduit à faire mal.

WLC ¹⁷ שְׁמֹ֣ר כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר תֵּלֵךְ֙ אֶל־ בֵּ֣ית הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים וְקָר֣וֹב לִשְׁמֹ֔עַ מִתֵּ֥ת הַכְּסִילִ֖ים זָ֑בַח כִּֽי־ אֵינָ֥ם יוֹדְעִ֖ים לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת רָֽע׃

BCC ¹ Ne sois pas pressé d'ouvrir la bouche, et que ton coeur ne se hâte pas d'exprimer une parole devant Dieu ; car Dieu est au ciel, et toi sur la terre : que tes paroles soient donc peu nombreuses !

KJV ¹ Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.

KJV ⁴ When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.

BCC ⁵ Ne permets pas à ta bouche de faire pécher ta chair, et ne dis pas en présence de l'envoyé de Dieu que c'est une inadvertance : pourquoi Dieu s'irriterait-il au sujet de tes paroles, et détruirait-il l'oeuvre de tes mains ?

KJV ⁵ Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.

WLC ⁵ אַל־ תִּתֵּ֤ן אֶת־ פִּ֙יךָ֙ לַחֲטִ֣יא אֶת־ בְּשָׂרֶ֔ךָ וְאַל־ תֹּאמַר֙ לִפְנֵ֣י הַמַּלְאָ֔ךְ כִּ֥י שְׁגָגָ֖ה הִ֑יא לָ֣מָּה יִקְצֹ֤ף הָֽאֱלֹהִים֙ עַל־ קוֹלֶ֔ךָ וְחִבֵּ֖ל אֶת־ מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה יָדֶֽיךָ׃

BCC ⁶ Car comme il y a des vanités dans la multitude des occupations, il y en a aussi dans beaucoup de paroles ; c'est pourquoi crains Dieu.

KJV ⁶ Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands?

KJV ¹² The sleep of a labouring man is sweet, whether he eat little or much: but the abundance of the rich will not suffer him to sleep.

BCC ¹³ Ces richesses se perdent par quelque fâcheux événement, et, s'il a engendré un fils, il ne lui reste rien entre les mains.

KJV ¹³ There is a sore evil which I have seen under the sun, namely, riches kept for the owners thereof to their hurt.

KJV ¹⁴ But those riches perish by evil travail: and he begetteth a son, and there is nothing in his hand.

WLC ¹⁴ כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר יָצָא֙ מִבֶּ֣טֶן אִמּ֔וֹ עָר֛וֹם יָשׁ֥וּב לָלֶ֖כֶת כְּשֶׁבָּ֑א וּמְא֙וּמָה֙ לֹא־ יִשָּׂ֣א בַעֲמָל֔וֹ שֶׁיֹּלֵ֖ךְ בְּיָדֽוֹ׃

BCC ¹⁵ C'est encore là un grave mal, qu'il s'en aille comme il est venu : et quel avantage lui revient-il d'avoir travaillé pour le vent ?

KJV ¹⁵ As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand.

BCC ¹⁶ De plus, toute sa vie il mange dans les ténèbres ; il a beaucoup de chagrin, de souffrance et d'irritation.

KJV ¹⁶ And this also is a sore evil, that in all points as he came, so shall he go: and what profit hath he that hath laboured for the wind?

WLC ¹⁶ גַּ֥ם כָּל־ יָמָ֖יו בַּחֹ֣שֶׁךְ יֹאכֵ֑ל וְכָעַ֥ס הַרְבֵּ֖ה וְחָלְי֥וֹ וָקָֽצֶף׃

BCC ¹⁷ Voici donc ce que j'ai vu : c'est qu'il est bon et séant pour l'homme de manger et de boire et de jouir du bien-être dans tout son travail, auquel il se livre sous le soleil, durant les jours de vie que Dieu lui donne ; car c'est là sa part.

KJV ¹⁷ All his days also he eateth in darkness, and he hath much sorrow and wrath with his sickness.

WLC ¹⁷ הִנֵּ֞ה אֲשֶׁר־ רָאִ֣יתִי אָ֗נִי ט֣וֹב אֲשֶׁר־ יָפֶ֣ה לֶֽאֶכוֹל־ וְ֠לִשְׁתּוֹת וְלִרְא֨וֹת טוֹבָ֜ה בְּכָל־ עֲמָל֣וֹ ׀ שֶׁיַּעֲמֹ֣ל תַּֽחַת־ הַשֶּׁ֗מֶשׁ מִסְפַּ֧ר יְמֵי־ אֲשֶׁר־ נָֽתַן־ ל֥וֹ הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים כִּי־ ה֥וּא חֶלְקֽוֹ׃

BCC ¹⁸ De plus, pour tout homme à qui Dieu donne richesses et biens, avec pouvoir d'en manger, d'en prendre sa part et de se réjouir de son travail, c'est là un don de Dieu.

BCC ¹⁹ Car alors il ne songe guère aux jours de sa vie, parce que Dieu répand la joie dans son coeur.

KJV ¹⁹ Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.

WLC ¹ יֵ֣שׁ רָעָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר רָאִ֖יתִי תַּ֣חַת הַשָּׁ֑מֶשׁ וְרַבָּ֥ה הִ֖יא עַל־ הָאָדָֽם׃

BCC ² Tel homme à qui Dieu a donné richesses, trésors et gloire, et qui ne manque pour son âme de rien de ce qu'il peut désirer ; mais Dieu ne lui permet pas d'en jouir, car c'est un étranger qui en jouit : voilà une vanité et un mal grave.

KJV ² A man to whom God hath given riches, wealth, and honour, so that he wanteth nothing for his soul of all that he desireth, yet God giveth him not power to eat thereof, but a stranger eateth it: this is vanity, and it is an evil disease.

BCC ³ Quand un homme aurait engendré cent fils, eût vécu de nombreuses années, et que les jours de ses années se seraient multipliés, si son âme ne s'est pas rassasiée de bonheur, et qu'il n'ait pas même eu de sépulture, je dis qu'un avorton est plus heureux que lui.

KJV ³ If a man beget an hundred children, and live many years, so that the days of his years be many, and his soul be not filled with good, and also that he have no burial; I say, that an untimely birth is better than he.

BCC ⁴ Car il est venu en vain, il s'en va dans les ténèbres, et les ténèbres couvriront son nom ;

KJV ⁴ For he cometh in with vanity, and departeth in darkness, and his name shall be covered with darkness.

WLC ⁴ כִּֽי־ בַהֶ֥בֶל בָּ֖א וּבַחֹ֣שֶׁךְ יֵלֵ֑ךְ וּבַחֹ֖שֶׁךְ שְׁמ֥וֹ יְכֻסֶּֽה׃

BCC ⁵ Il n'a même ni vu ni connu le soleil, mais il a plus de repos que cet homme.

KJV ⁵ Moreover he hath not seen the sun, nor known any thing: this hath more rest than the other.

WLC ⁵ גַּם־ שֶׁ֥מֶשׁ לֹא־ רָאָ֖ה וְלֹ֣א יָדָ֑ע נַ֥חַת לָזֶ֖ה מִזֶּֽה׃

KJV ⁶ Yea, though he live a thousand years twice told, yet hath he seen no good: do not all go to one place?

WLC ⁶ וְאִלּ֣וּ חָיָ֗ה אֶ֤לֶף שָׁנִים֙ פַּעֲמַ֔יִם וְטוֹבָ֖ה לֹ֣א רָאָ֑ה הֲלֹ֛א אֶל־ מָק֥וֹם אֶחָ֖ד הַכֹּ֥ל הוֹלֵֽךְ׃

BCC ⁷ Tout le travail de l'homme est pour sa bouche ; mais ses désirs ne sont jamais satisfaits.

KJV ⁷ All the labour of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled.

WLC ⁷ כָּל־ עֲמַ֥ל הָאָדָ֖ם לְפִ֑יהוּ וְגַם־ הַנֶּ֖פֶשׁ לֹ֥א תִמָּלֵֽא׃

BCC ⁸ Car quel avantage a le sage sur l'insensé ? quel avantage a le pauvre qui sait se conduire devant les vivants ?

KJV ⁸ For what hath the wise more than the fool? what hath the poor, that knoweth to walk before the living?

WLC ⁸ כִּ֛י מַה־ יּוֹתֵ֥ר לֶחָכָ֖ם מִֽן־ הַכְּסִ֑יל מַה־ לֶּעָנִ֣י יוֹדֵ֔עַ לַהֲלֹ֖ךְ נֶ֥גֶד הַחַיִּֽים׃

BCC ⁹ Ce que les yeux voient est préférable à la divagation des désirs. Cela encore est vanité et poursuite du vent.

KJV ⁹ Better is the sight of the eyes than the wandering of the desire: this is also vanity and vexation of spirit.

WLC ⁹ ט֛וֹב מַרְאֵ֥ה עֵינַ֖יִם מֵֽהֲלָךְ־ נָ֑פֶשׁ גַּם־ זֶ֥ה הֶ֖בֶל וּרְע֥וּת רֽוּחַ׃

BCC ¹⁰ De toute chose qui arrive, le nom est déjà prononcé ; on sait ce que sera un homme, et il ne peut contester avec qui est plus fort que lui

KJV ¹⁰ That which hath been is named already, and it is known that it is man: neither may he contend with him that is mightier than he.

BCC ¹¹ Car il y a beaucoup de paroles qui ne font qu'accroître la vanité : quel avantage en revient-il à l'homme ?

KJV ¹¹ Seeing there be many things that increase vanity, what is man the better?

WLC ¹¹ כִּ֛י יֵשׁ־ דְּבָרִ֥ים הַרְבֵּ֖ה מַרְבִּ֣ים הָ֑בֶל מַה־ יֹּתֵ֖ר לָאָדָֽם׃

BCC ¹² Car qui sait, en effet, ce qui est bon pour l'homme dans la vie, pendant les jours de sa vie de vanité, qu'il passe comme une ombre ? Et qui peut indiquer à l'homme ce qui sera après lui sous le soleil ?

KJV ¹² For who knoweth what is good for man in this life, all the days of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadow? for who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?

BCC ¹ Une bonne renommée vaut mieux qu'un bon parfum, et le jour de la mort que le jour de la naissance.

KJV ¹ A good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one's birth.

WLC ¹ ט֥וֹב שֵׁ֖ם מִשֶּׁ֣מֶן ט֑וֹב וְי֣וֹם הַמָּ֔וֶת מִיּ֖וֹם הִוָּלְדֽוֹ׃

BCC ² Mieux vaut aller à la maison de deuil qu'aller à la maison de festin. Car dans la première apparaît la fin de tout homme, et le vivant y applique son coeur.

KJV ² It is better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that is the end of all men; and the living will lay it to his heart.

WLC ² ט֞וֹב לָלֶ֣כֶת אֶל־ בֵּֽית־ אֵ֗בֶל מִלֶּ֙כֶת֙ אֶל־ בֵּ֣ית מִשְׁתֶּ֔ה בַּאֲשֶׁ֕ר ה֖וּא ס֣וֹף כָּל־ הָאָדָ֑ם וְהַחַ֖י יִתֵּ֥ן אֶל־ לִבּֽוֹ׃

BCC ³ Mieux vaut la tristesse que le rire, car un visage triste fait du bien au coeur.

KJV ³ Sorrow is better than laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better.

WLC ³ ט֥וֹב כַּ֖עַס מִשְּׂחֹ֑ק כִּֽי־ בְרֹ֥עַ פָּנִ֖ים יִ֥יטַב לֵֽב׃

BCC ⁴ Le coeur des sages est dans la maison de deuil, et le coeur des insensés dans la maison de joie.

KJV ⁴ The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning; but the heart of fools is in the house of mirth.

WLC ⁴ לֵ֤ב חֲכָמִים֙ בְּבֵ֣ית אֵ֔בֶל וְלֵ֥ב כְּסִילִ֖ים בְּבֵ֥ית שִׂמְחָֽה׃

BCC ⁵ Mieux vaut entendre la réprimande du sage que d'entendre la chanson des insensés.

KJV ⁵ It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools.

BCC ⁶ Car semblable au pétillement des épines sous la chaudière est le rire des insensés : c'est encore là une vanité.

KJV ⁶ For as the crackling of thorns under a pot, so is the laughter of the fool: this also is vanity.

BCC ⁷ Car l'oppression rend insensé le sage et les présents corrompent le coeur.

KJV ⁷ Surely oppression maketh a wise man mad; and a gift destroyeth the heart.

WLC ⁷ כִּ֥י הָעֹ֖שֶׁק יְהוֹלֵ֣ל חָכָ֑ם וִֽיאַבֵּ֥ד אֶת־ לֵ֖ב מַתָּנָֽה׃

BCC ⁸ Mieux vaut la fin d'une chose que son commencement ; mieux vaut un esprit patient qu'un esprit hautain.

KJV ⁸ Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.

WLC ⁸ ט֛וֹב אַחֲרִ֥ית דָּבָ֖ר מֵֽרֵאשִׁית֑וֹ ט֥וֹב אֶֽרֶךְ־ ר֖וּחַ מִגְּבַהּ־ רֽוּחַ׃

BCC ⁹ Ne te hâte pas dans ton esprit de t'irriter, car l'irritation repose dans le sein des insensés.

KJV ⁹ Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.

WLC ⁹ אַל־ תְּבַהֵ֥ל בְּרֽוּחֲךָ֖ לִכְע֑וֹס כִּ֣י כַ֔עַס בְּחֵ֥יק כְּסִילִ֖ים יָנֽוּחַ׃

BCC ¹⁰ Ne dis pas : « D'où vient que les jours anciens étaient meilleurs que ceux-ci ? » Car ce n'est pas par sagesse que tu interroges à ce sujet.

KJV ¹⁰ Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this.

WLC ¹⁰ אַל־ תֹּאמַר֙ מֶ֣ה הָיָ֔ה שֶׁ֤הַיָּמִים֙ הָרִ֣אשֹׁנִ֔ים הָי֥וּ טוֹבִ֖ים מֵאֵ֑לֶּה כִּ֛י לֹ֥א מֵחָכְמָ֖ה שָׁאַ֥לְתָּ עַל־ זֶֽה׃

BCC ¹¹ La sagesse est bonne avec un patrimoine, et profitable à ceux qui voient le soleil.

KJV ¹¹ Wisdom is good with an inheritance: and by it there is profit to them that see the sun.

WLC ¹¹ טוֹבָ֥ה חָכְמָ֖ה עִֽם־ נַחֲלָ֑ה וְיֹתֵ֖ר לְרֹאֵ֥י הַשָּֽׁמֶשׁ׃

BCC ¹⁵ Tout ceci, je l'ai vu au jour de ma vanité : il y a tel juste qui périt dans sa justice, et il y a tel méchant qui prolonge sa vie dans sa méchanceté.

KJV ¹⁵ All things have I seen in the days of my vanity: there is a just man that perisheth in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man that prolongeth his life in his wickedness.

KJV ¹⁶ Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself ?

WLC ¹⁶ אַל־ תְּהִ֤י צַדִּיק֙ הַרְבֵּ֔ה וְאַל־ תִּתְחַכַּ֖ם יוֹתֵ֑ר לָ֖מָּה תִּשּׁוֹמֵֽם׃

BCC ¹⁷ Ne sois pas méchant à l'excès, et ne sois pas insensé : pourquoi voudrais-tu mourir avant ton temps ?

KJV ¹⁷ Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time?

WLC ¹⁷ אַל־ תִּרְשַׁ֥ע הַרְבֵּ֖ה וְאַל־ תְּהִ֣י סָכָ֑ל לָ֥מָּה תָמ֖וּת בְּלֹ֥א עִתֶּֽךָ׃

BCC ¹⁸ Il est bon que tu retiennes ceci, et que tu ne relâches pas ta main de cela, car celui qui craint Dieu évite tous les excès.

KJV ¹⁸ It is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: for he that feareth God shall come forth of them all.

WLC ¹⁸ ט֚וֹב אֲשֶׁ֣ר תֶּאֱחֹ֣ז בָּזֶ֔ה וְגַם־ מִזֶּ֖ה אַל־ תַּנַּ֣ח אֶת־ יָדֶ֑ךָ כִּֽי־ יְרֵ֥א אֱלֹהִ֖ים יֵצֵ֥א אֶת־ כֻּלָּֽם׃

BCC ¹⁹ La sagesse donne au sage plus de force que n'en possèdent dix chefs qui sont dans la ville.

KJV ¹⁹ Wisdom strengtheneth the wise more than ten mighty men which are in the city.

BCC ²¹ Ne fais pas non plus attention à toutes les paroles qui se disent, de peur que tu n'entendes ton serviteur te maudire ;

KJV ²¹ Also take no heed unto all words that are spoken; lest thou hear thy servant curse thee:

WLC ²¹ גַּ֤ם לְכָל־ הַדְּבָרִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יְדַבֵּ֔רוּ אַל־ תִּתֵּ֖ן לִבֶּ֑ךָ אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא־ תִשְׁמַ֥ע אֶֽת־ עַבְדְּךָ֖ מְקַלְלֶֽךָ׃

BCC ²² Car ton coeur sait que bien des fois aussi tu as maudit les autres.

KJV ²² For oftentimes also thine own heart knoweth that thou thyself likewise hast cursed others.

BCC ²³ J'ai reconnu vrai tout cela par la sagesse ; J'ai dit : « Je veux être sage ! » Mais la sagesse est restée loin de moi.

KJV ²³ All this have I proved by wisdom: I said, I will be wise; but it was far from me.

WLC ²³ כָּל־ זֹ֖ה נִסִּ֣יתִי בַֽחָכְמָ֑ה אָמַ֣רְתִּי אֶחְכָּ֔מָה וְהִ֖יא רְחוֹקָ֥ה מִמֶּֽנִּי׃

KJV ²⁴ That which is far off, and exceeding deep, who can find it out?

BCC ²⁵ Je me suis appliqué et mon coeur a cherché à connaître, à sonder et à poursuivre la sagesse et la raison des choses, et j'ai reconnu que la méchanceté est une démence, et qu'une conduite folle est un délire.

KJV ²⁵ I applied mine heart to know, and to search, and to seek out wisdom, and the reason of things, and to know the wickedness of folly, even of foolishness and madness:

WLC ²⁵ סַבּ֨וֹתִֽי אֲנִ֤י וְלִבִּי֙ לָדַ֣עַת וְלָת֔וּר וּבַקֵּ֥שׁ חָכְמָ֖ה וְחֶשְׁבּ֑וֹן וְלָדַ֙עַת֙ רֶ֣שַׁע כֶּ֔סֶל וְהַסִּכְל֖וּת הוֹלֵלֽוֹת׃

BCC ²⁶ Et j'ai trouvé plus amère que la mort, la femme dont le coeur est un piège et un filet, et dont les mains sont des liens ; Celui qui est agréable à Dieu lui échappe, mais le pécheur sera enlacé par elle.

KJV ²⁶ And I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart is snares and nets, and her hands as bands: whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her.

BCC ²⁷ Vois, j'ai trouvé ceci, dit l'Écclésiaste, en considérant les choses une à une pour en découvrir la raison,

KJV ²⁸ Which yet my soul seeketh, but I find not: one man among a thousand have I found; but a woman among all those have I not found.

BCC ²⁹ Seulement, vois, j'ai trouvé ceci : c'est que Dieu a fait l'homme droit, mais eux cherchent beaucoup de subtilités.

KJV ²⁹ Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.

WLC ²⁹ לְבַד֙ רְאֵה־ זֶ֣ה מָצָ֔אתִי אֲשֶׁ֨ר עָשָׂ֧ה הָאֱלֹהִ֛ים אֶת־ הָאָדָ֖ם יָשָׁ֑ר וְהֵ֥מָּה בִקְשׁ֖וּ חִשְּׁבֹנ֥וֹת רַבִּֽים׃

KJV ²⁰ For he shall not much remember the days of his life; because God answereth him in the joy of his heart.
