DRB ¹¹ Et l'Éternel parla à Moïse, disant :

KJV ¹¹ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

VULC ¹¹ Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens :

DRB ¹² Quand tu relèveras le nombre des fils d'Israël selon leur dénombrement*, ils donneront chacun une rançon de son âme à l'Éternel, lorsque tu en feras le dénombrement, afin qu'il n'y ait pas de plaie au milieu d'eux quand tu en feras le dénombrement.

KJV ¹² When thou takest the sum of the children of Israel after their number, then shall they give every man a ransom for his soul unto the LORD, when thou numberest them; that there be no plague among them, when thou numberest them.

VULC ¹² Quando tuleris summam filiorum Israël juxta numerum, dabunt singuli pretium pro animabus suis Domino, et non erit plaga in eis, cum fuerint recensiti.

DRB ¹³ Voici ce que donneront tous ceux qui passeront par le dénombrement : un demi-sicle, selon le sicle du sanctuaire, à vingt guéras le sicle, un demi-sicle en offrande* à l'Éternel.

KJV ¹³ This they shall give, every one that passeth among them that are numbered, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary: (a shekel is twenty gerahs:) an half shekel shall be the offering of the LORD.

VULC ¹³ Hoc autem dabit omnis qui transit ad nomen, dimidium sicli juxta mensuram templi (siclus viginti obolos habet) ; media pars sicli offeretur Domino.

DRB ¹⁴ Tous ceux qui passeront par le dénombrement, depuis l'âge de vingt ans et au-dessus, donneront l'offrande* de l'Éternel.

KJV ¹⁴ Every one that passeth among them that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering unto the LORD.

VULC ¹⁴ Qui habetur in numero, a viginti annis et supra, dabit pretium.

DRB ¹⁵ Le riche n'augmentera pas, et le pauvre ne diminuera pas le demi-sicle, lorsque vous donnerez l'offrande* de l'Éternel pour faire propitiation pour vos âmes.

KJV ¹⁵ The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when they give an offering unto the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls.

VULC ¹⁵ Dives non addet ad medium sicli, et pauper nihil minuet.

DRB ¹⁶ Et tu prendras des fils d'Israël l'argent de la propitiation, et tu le donneras pour le service de la tente d'assignation, et il sera pour les fils d'Israël un mémorial devant l'Éternel, afin de faire propitiation pour vos âmes.

KJV ¹⁶ And thou shalt take the atonement money of the children of Israel, and shalt appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; that it may be a memorial unto the children of Israel before the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls.

VULC ¹⁶ Susceptamque pecuniam, quæ collata est a filiis Israël, trades in usus tabernaculi testimonii, ut sit monimentum eorum coram Domino, et propitietur animabus eorum.
