BAN ³ la main de l'Eternel va être sur ton bétail qui est dans les champs, sur les chevaux, sur les ânes, sur les chameaux, sur les boeufs et les moutons : ce sera une peste terrible.

KJV ³ Behold, the hand of the LORD is upon thy cattle which is in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the oxen, and upon the sheep: there shall be a very grievous murrain.

VULC ³ ecce manus mea erit super agros tuos, et super equos, et asinos, et camelos, et boves, et oves, pestis valde gravis.

BAN ⁴ Et l'Eternel fera une distinction entre le bétail d'Israël et le bétail des Egyptiens : il ne périra rien de ce qui appartient aux fils d'Israël.

KJV ⁴ And the LORD shall sever between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt: and there shall nothing die of all that is the children's of Israel.

BAN ⁵ Et l'Eternel fixa le moment en disant : Demain l'Eternel fera cela dans le pays.

BAN ⁶ Et l'Eternel fit cela dès le lendemain ; tout bétail des Egyptiens périt, mais des bestiaux des fils d'Israël il n'en périt pas un seul.

KJV ⁶ And the LORD did that thing on the morrow, and all the cattle of Egypt died: but of the cattle of the children of Israel died not one.

VULC ⁶ Fecit ergo Dominus verbum hoc altera die : mortuaque sunt omnia animantia Ægyptiorum ; de animalibus vero filiorum Israël, nihil omnino periit.

BAN ⁷ Et Pharaon envoya voir et il se trouva que des bestiaux des fils d'Israël il n'en avait pas même péri un seul. Et le coeur de Pharaon s'appesantit, et il ne laissa pas aller le peuple.

KJV ⁷ And Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not one of the cattle of the Israelites dead. And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not let the people go.

BAN ⁸ Et l'Eternel dit à Moïse et à Aaron : Prenez plein vos mains de cendre de forge, et que Moïse jette cette cendre vers le ciel, sous les yeux de Pharaon.

KJV ⁸ And the LORD said unto Moses and unto Aaron, Take to you handfuls of ashes of the furnace, and let Moses sprinkle it toward the heaven in the sight of Pharaoh.

BAN ⁹ Et qu'elle devienne une fine poussière sur tout le pays d'Egypte, et qu'elle forme sur les gens et sur les bêtes des tumeurs bourgeonnant en pustules, dans tout le pays d'Egypte.

KJV ⁹ And it shall become small dust in all the land of Egypt, and shall be a boil breaking forth with blains upon man, and upon beast, throughout all the land of Egypt.

VULC ⁹ Sitque pulvis super omnem terram Ægypti : erunt enim in hominibus et jumentis ulcera, et vesicæ turgentes in universa terra Ægypti.

BAN ¹⁰ Et ils, prirent la cendre de forge et se tinrent devant Pharaon, et Moïse la jeta vers le ciel. Et il y eut des tumeurs bourgeonnant en pustules sur les gens et sur les bêtes.

KJV ¹¹ And the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils; for the boil was upon the magicians, and upon all the Egyptians.

KJV ¹³ And the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

KJV ¹⁴ For I will at this time send all my plagues upon thine heart, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people; that thou mayest know that there is none like me in all the earth.

BAN ¹⁸ Je vais demain, à cette heure même, faire tomber une grêle très forte, telle qu'il n'y en a pas eu en Egypte depuis qu'elle existe jusqu'à ce jour.

KJV ¹⁸ Behold, to morrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as hath not been in Egypt since the foundation thereof even until now.

BAN ¹⁹ Maintenant fais mettre à l'abri ton bétail et tout ce que tu as aux champs. Tout ce qui, hommes ou bêtes, se trouvera aux champs et ne rentrera pas, sera frappé de la grêle et périra.

KJV ¹⁹ Send therefore now, and gather thy cattle, and all that thou hast in the field; for upon every man and beast which shall be found in the field, and shall not be brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die.

KJV ²⁰ He that feared the word of the LORD among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses:

BAN ²² Et l'Eternel dit à Moïse : Etends ta main vers le ciel et qu'il grêle, dans tout le pays d'Egypte, sur les hommes, sur le bétail et sur toutes les plantes de la campagne, dans le pays d'Egypte.

KJV ²² And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch forth thine hand toward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man, and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.

BAN ²³ Et Moïse étendit son bâton vers le ciel et l'Eternel fit tonner et grêler et il tomba du feu sur la terre. L'Eternel fit tomber de la grêle sur le pays d'Egypte,

KJV ²³ And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt.

VULC ²³ Extenditque Moyses virgam in cælum, et Dominus dedit tonitrua, et grandinem, ac discurrentia fulgura super terram : pluitque Dominus grandinem super terram Ægypti.

BAN ²⁴ et il y eut de la grêle et du feu mêlé à la grêle, et elle fut si forte qu'il n'y en avait jamais eu comme celle-là dans tout le pays d'Egypte depuis que la nation y existait.

KJV ²⁴ So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.

VULC ²⁴ Et grando et ignis mista pariter ferebantur : tantæque fuit magnitudinis, quanta ante numquam apparuit in universa terra Ægypti ex quo gens illa condita est.

BAN ²⁵ Et la grêle frappa dans tout le pays d'Egypte tout ce qui était aux champs, tant hommes que bestiaux. La grêle avait frappé toutes les plantes des champs ;

KJV ²⁵ And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the field.

VULC ²⁵ Et percussit grando in omni terra Ægypti cuncta quæ fuerunt in agris, ab homine usque ad jumentum : cunctamque herbam agri percussit grando, et omne lignum regionis confregit.

BAN ²⁶ il n'y avait que la terre de Gossen, qu'habitaient les fils d'Israël, où il n'y eût pas eu de grêle.

KJV ²⁶ Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, was there no hail.

VULC ²⁶ Tantum in terra Gessen, ubi erant filii Israël, grando non cecidit.

BAN ²⁷ Alors Pharaon fit appeler Moïse et Aaron et leur dit : Cette fois-ci, j'ai péché. C'est l'Eternel qui a raison, et moi et mon peuple qui avons tort !

KJV ²⁷ And Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said unto them, I have sinned this time: the LORD is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.

VULC ²⁷ Misitque Pharao, et vocavit Moysen et Aaron, dicens ad eos : Peccavi etiam nunc : Dominus justus ; ego et populus meus, impii.

BAN ²⁸ Faites des prières à l'Eternel, et qu'il n'y ait plus de tonnerre et de grêle, et je vous laisserai aller, sans que vous ayez à attendre davantage.

KJV ²⁸ Intreat the LORD (for it is enough) that there be no more mighty thunderings and hail; and I will let you go, and ye shall stay no longer.

VULC ²⁸ Orate Dominum ut desinant tonitrua Dei, et grando : ut dimittam vos, et nequaquam hic ultra maneatis.

BAN ²⁹ Et Moïse lui dit : En sortant de la ville, j'étendrai mes mains vers l'Eternel, et le tonnerre cessera, et il n'y aura plus de grêle, afin que tu saches que la terre est à l'Eternel.

KJV ²⁹ And Moses said unto him, As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands unto the LORD; and the thunder shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that thou mayest know how that the earth is the LORD's.

VULC ²⁹ Ait Moyses : Cum egressus fuero de urbe, extendam palmas meas ad Dominum, et cessabunt tonitrua, et grando non erit, ut scias quia Domini est terra :

BAN ³⁰ Quant à toi et à tes serviteurs, je sais que vous n'aurez pas encore de crainte devant l'Eternel Dieu.

KJV ³⁰ But as for thee and thy servants, I know that ye will not yet fear the LORD God.

BAN ³¹ Or le lin et l'orge avaient été frappés, car l'orge était en épis et le lin en fleurs ;

KJV ³¹ And the flax and the barley was smitten: for the barley was in the ear, and the flax was bolled.

VULC ³¹ Linum ergo et hordeum læsum est, eo quod hordeum esset virens, et linum jam folliculos germinaret :

BAN ³² mais le froment et l'épeautre n'avaient pas été frappés, parce qu'ils sont tardifs.

KJV ³³ And Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and spread abroad his hands unto the LORD: and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured upon the earth.

VULC ³³ Egressusque Moyses a Pharaone ex urbe, tetendit manus ad Dominum : et cessaverunt tonitrua et grando, nec ultra stillavit pluvia super terram.

BAN ³⁴ Et Pharaon vit que la pluie, la grêle et le tonnerre avaient cessé, et il recommença à pécher et il appesantit son coeur, tant lui que ses serviteurs.

KJV ³⁴ And when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders were ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants.

BAN ² et afin que tu racontes à ton fils et au fils de ton fils mes exploits au milieu des Egyptiens et mes signes opérés au milieu d'eux, et que vous sachiez que je suis l'Eternel.

KJV ² And that thou mayest tell in the ears of thy son, and of thy son's son, what things I have wrought in Egypt, and my signs which I have done among them; that ye may know how that I am the LORD.

KJV ³ And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me.

KJV ⁴ Else, if thou refuse to let my people go, behold, to morrow will I bring the locusts into thy coast:

VULC ⁴ Sin autem resistis, et non vis dimittere eum : ecce ego inducam cras locustam in fines tuos :

BAN ⁵ et elles couvriront la face de la terre et l'on ne pourra pas voir la terre ; elles dévoreront ce qui est demeuré de reste, ce qui vous a été laissé par la grêle, et elles dévoreront tous les arbres qui vous croissent dans les champs.

KJV ⁵ And they shall cover the face of the earth, that one cannot be able to see the earth: and they shall eat the residue of that which is escaped, which remaineth unto you from the hail, and shall eat every tree which groweth for you out of the field:

VULC ⁵ quæ operiat superficiem terræ, ne quidquam ejus appareat, sed comedatur quod residuum fuerit grandini : corrodet enim omnia ligna quæ germinant in agris.

BAN ⁶ Et elles rempliront tes maisons, les maisons de tous tes serviteurs et les maisons de tous les Egyptiens, comme ne l'ont jamais vu tes pères, ni les pères de tes pères, depuis le temps où ils étaient sur la terre jusqu'à ce jour-ci. Et Moïse se retira et sortit de chez Pharaon.

KJV ⁶ And they shall fill thy houses, and the houses of all thy servants, and the houses of all the Egyptians; which neither thy fathers, nor thy fathers' fathers have seen, since the day that they were upon the earth unto this day. And he turned himself, and went out from Pharaoh.

BAN ⁷ Et les serviteurs de Pharaon lui dirent : Jusques à quand cet homme-là nous portera-t-il malheur ? Laisse aller ces gens et qu'ils servent l'Eternel leur Dieu. Ne vois-tu pas encore que l'Egypte est perdue ?

KJV ⁷ And Pharaoh's servants said unto him, How long shall this man be a snare unto us? let the men go, that they may serve the LORD their God: knowest thou not yet that Egypt is destroyed?

VULC ⁷ Dixerunt autem servi Pharaonis ad eum : Usquequo patiemur hoc scandalum ? dimitte homines, ut sacrificent Domino Deo suo ; nonne vides quod perierit Ægyptus ?

BAN ⁸ 0n fit revenir Moïse et Aaron auprès de Pharaon, et il leur dit : Allez, servez l'Eternel votre Dieu. Qui sont ceux qui iront ?

KJV ⁸ And Moses and Aaron were brought again unto Pharaoh: and he said unto them, Go, serve the LORD your God: but who are they that shall go?

VULC ⁸ Revocaveruntque Moysen et Aaron ad Pharaonem : qui dixit eis : Ite, sacrificate Domino Deo vestro : quinam sunt qui ituri sunt ?

BAN ⁹ Et Moïse dit : Nous irons avec nos jeunes gens et nos vieillards, nous irons avec nos fils et nos filles, avec nos brebis et nos boeufs ; car nous avons une fête de l'Eternel.

KJV ⁹ And Moses said, We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we must hold a feast unto the LORD.

VULC ⁹ Ait Moyses : Cum parvulis nostris, et senioribus pergemus, cum filiis et filiabus, cum ovibus et armentis : est enim solemnitas Domini Dei nostri.

BAN ¹⁰ Et Pharaon leur dit : Que l'Eternel soit avec vous aussi vrai que je vous laisserai aller avec vos petits enfants ! Voyez ! vous avez de mauvais desseins !

KJV ¹⁰ And he said unto them, Let the LORD be so with you, as I will let you go, and your little ones: look to it; for evil is before you.

VULC ¹⁰ Et respondit Pharao : Sic Dominus sit vobiscum, quomodo ego dimittam vos, et parvulos vestros, cui dubium est quod pessime cogitetis ?

BAN ¹¹ Non, non ; allez, si vous voulez, vous autres hommes, et servez l'Eternel puisque c'est là ce que vous demandez.
Et on les chassa de devant Pharaon.

BAN ¹² Et l'Eternel dit à Moïse : Etends ta main sur le pays d'Egypte pour y faire venir les sauterelles : qu'elles montent sur le pays d'Egypte, qu'elles dévorent toutes les plantes du pays et tout ce qu'a laissé la grêle.

KJV ¹² And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up upon the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, even all that the hail hath left.

BAN ¹³ Et Moïse étendit son bâton sur le pays d'Egypte et l'Eternel fit souffler sur le pays un vent d'orient tout ce jour-là et toute la nuit. Quand le matin fut là, le vent d'orient avait apporté les sauterelles.

KJV ¹³ And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.

VULC ¹³ Et extendit Moyses virgam super terram Ægypti : et Dominus induxit ventum urentem tota die illa et nocte : et mane facto, ventus urens levavit locustas.

BAN ¹⁴ Et les sauterelles montèrent sur tout le pays d'Egypte et se posèrent sur tout le territoire de l'Egypte, en quantité si considérable que jamais il n'y avait eu auparavant une si grande quantité de sauterelles et que jamais il n'y en aura autant.

KJV ¹⁴ And the locust went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the coasts of Egypt: very grievous were they; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such.

BAN ¹⁵ Et elles couvrirent la face de toute la terre et la terre en fut assombrie, et elles dévorèrent toutes les plantes du pays et tous les fruits d'arbres que la grêle avait épargnés, et il ne resta rien de vert aux arbres ni aux plantes des champs dans tout le pays d'Egypte.

KJV ¹⁵ For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left: and there remained not any green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of Egypt.

KJV ¹⁷ Now therefore forgive, I pray thee, my sin only this once, and intreat the LORD your God, that he may take away from me this death only.

BAN ¹⁸ Et Moïse sortit de chez Pharaon et adressa des prières à l'Eternel,

BAN ¹⁹ et l'Eternel fit lever un vent contraire, un vent d'occident très fort, qui emporta les sauterelles et les précipita dans, la mer Rouge. Il ne resta pas une sauterelle dans tout le territoire d'Egypte.

KJV ¹⁹ And the LORD turned a mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts, and cast them into the Red sea; there remained not one locust in all the coasts of Egypt.

KJV ²¹ And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.

KJV ²⁶ Our cattle also shall go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for thereof must we take to serve the LORD our God; and we know not with what we must serve the LORD, until we come thither.

BAN ¹ Et l'Eternel avait dit à Moïse : Je frapperai encore d'un coup Pharaon et l'Egypte : après cela il vous laissera partir d'ici. Quand il vous laissera partir tout à fait, il vous chassera même d'ici.

KJV ¹ And the LORD said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether.

KJV ⁷ But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.

BAN ⁸ Et tous tes serviteurs que voilà descendront vers moi et se prosterneront devant moi, en disant : Sors, toi et tout le peuple à la tête duquel tu es. Après cela, je sortirai.
Et Moïse sortit de chez Pharaon en grande colère.

KJV ⁸ And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee: and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in a great anger.

KJV ³ Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:

BAN ⁴ Et si la maison est trop peu nombreuse pour un agneau, qu'il le prenne en commun avec son plus proche voisin, en tenant compte du nombre des personnes : vous compterez chaque personne selon ce qu'elle peut manger de l'agneau.

KJV ⁴ And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.

VULC ⁴ Sin autem minor est numerus ut sufficere possit ad vescendum agnum, assumet vicinum suum qui junctus est domui suæ, juxta numerum animarum quæ sufficere possunt ad esum agni.

KJV ²² And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.

KJV ²³ For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.

KJV ²⁶ And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service?

VULC ²⁶ Et cum dixerint vobis filii vestri : Quæ est ista religio ?

BAN ²⁷ Vous répondrez : C'est un sacrifice de Pâque à l'Eternel, qui passa les maisons des fils d'Israël en Egypte lorsqu'il frappa l'Egypte et qu'il préserva nos maisons.
Le peuple s'inclina et se prosterna.

KJV ²⁷ That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD's passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.

VULC ²⁷ Dicetis eis : Victima transitus Domini est, quando transivit super domos filiorum Israël in Ægypto, percutiens Ægyptios, et domos nostras liberans. Incurvatusque populus adoravit.

BAN ²⁸ Et les fils d'Israël allèrent et firent ainsi. Ils se conformèrent à tout ce que l'Eternel avait commandé à Moïse et à Aaron.

KJV ²⁸ And the children of Israel went away, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.

VULC ²⁸ Et egressi filii Israël fecerunt sicut præceperat Dominus Moysi et Aaron.

BAN ²⁹ Et à minuit, l'Eternel frappa tous les premiers-nés dans le pays d'Egypte, depuis le premier-né de Pharaon sur son trône jusqu'aux premiers-nés des captifs qui étaient dans les prisons, et les premiers-nés des bestiaux.

KJV ²⁹ And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.

BAN ³⁰ Et Pharaon se leva dans la nuit, lui et tous ses serviteurs et toute l'Egypte, et il y eut un grand cri en Egypte, car il n'y avait pas de maison où il n'y eût un mort.

KJV ³⁰ And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.

KJV ³¹ And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said.

VULC ³¹ Vocatisque Pharao Moyse et Aaron nocte, ait : Surgite et egredimini a populo meo, vos et filii Israël : ite, immolate Domino sicut dicitis.

BAN ³² Prenez votre bétail, gros et petit, comme vous l'avez dit, et allez ; et vous, bénissez-moi !

KJV ³² Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also.

VULC ³² Oves vestras et armenta assumite ut petieratis, et abeuntes benedicite mihi.

BAN ³³ Et les Egyptiens pressaient le peuple, se hâtant de le renvoyer du pays, car ils disaient : Nous sommes tous morts !

KJV ³³ And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men.

KJV ³⁴ And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneadingtroughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders.

VULC ³⁴ Tulit igitur populus conspersam farinam antequam fermentaretur : et ligans in palliis, posuit super humeros suos.

BAN ³⁵ Et les fils d'Israël avaient fait ce que leur avait dit Moïse : ils avaient demandé aux Egyptiens des objets d'argent, des objets d'or et des habits.

KJV ³⁵ And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:

VULC ³⁵ Feceruntque filii Israël sicut præceperat Moyses : et petierunt ab Ægyptiis vasa argentea et aurea, vestemque plurimam.

BAN ³⁶ Et l'Eternel leur avait concilié la faveur des Egyptiens, qui leur donnèrent ce qu'ils demandaient. Ils emportèrent donc les dépouilles de l'Egypte.

KJV ³⁶ And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.

KJV ³⁹ And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual.

KJV ⁴⁰ Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.

VULC ⁴⁰ Habitatio autem filiorum Israël qua manserunt in Ægypto, fuit quadringentorum triginta annorum.

BAN ⁴¹ Et au bout de quatre cent trente ans, en ce même jour-là, toutes les armées de l'Eternel sortirent du pays d'Egypte.

KJV ⁴¹ And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.

VULC ⁴¹ Quibus expletis, eadem die egressus est omnis exercitus Domini de terra Ægypti.

BAN ⁴² C'est là une nuit à célébrer à l'honneur de l'Eternel parce qu'il les a fait sortir de la terre d'Egypte. Cette nuit-là appartient à l'Eternel, pour être célébrée par tous les fils d'Israël de génération en génération.

KJV ⁴² It is a night to be much observed unto the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the LORD to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations.

VULC ⁴² Nox ista est observabilis Domini, quando eduxit eos de terra Ægypti : hanc observare debent omnes filii Israël in generationibus suis.

BAN ⁴³ Et l'Eternel dit à Moïse et à Aaron : Voici la règle de la Pâque : Aucun étranger n'en mangera.

KJV ⁴³ And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof:

VULC ⁴³ Dixitque Dominus ad Moysen et Aaron : Hæc est religio Phase : omnis alienigena non comedet ex eo.

BAN ⁴⁴ Mais tout serviteur acquis à prix d'argent, tu le circonciras, et alors il en mangera.

KJV ⁴⁴ But every man's servant that is bought for money, when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof.

VULC ⁴⁴ Omnis autem servus emptitius circumcidetur, et sic comedet.

BAN ⁴⁵ Ni domicilié, ni mercenaire n'en mangera.

KJV ⁴⁵ A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof.

VULC ⁴⁵ Advena et mercenarius non edent ex eo.

BAN ⁴⁶ On mangera chaque agneau dans une seule maison : tu ne porteras rien de sa chair hors de la maison et vous ne romprez aucun de ses os.

KJV ⁴⁶ In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof.

VULC ⁴⁶ In una domo comedetur, nec efferetis de carnibus ejus foras, nec os illius confringetis.

BAN ⁴⁷ Toute l'assemblée d'Israël fera la Pâque.

KJV ⁴⁷ All the congregation of Israel shall keep it.

BAN ⁴⁸ Quand un étranger séjournant avec toi voudra faire la Pâque à l'Eternel, que tout mâle chez lui soit circoncis, et alors il s'approchera pour faire la Pâque et sera comme l'indigène ; nul incirconcis n'en mangera ;

KJV ⁴⁸ And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.

VULC ⁴⁸ Quod si quis peregrinorum in vestram voluerit transire coloniam, et facere Phase Domini, circumcidetur prius omne masculinum ejus, et tunc rite celebrabit : eritque sicut indigena terræ : si quis autem circumcisus non fuerit, non vescetur ex eo.

BAN ⁴⁹ il y aura une même loi pour l'indigène et pour l'étranger séjournant au milieu de vous.

KJV ⁴⁹ One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

VULC ⁴⁹ Eadem lex erit indigenæ et colono qui peregrinatur apud vos.

BAN ⁵⁰ Tous les fils d'Israël firent ainsi. Ils se conformèrent à tout ce que l'Eternel avait commandé à Moïse et à Aaron.

KJV ⁵⁰ Thus did all the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.

VULC ⁵⁰ Feceruntque omnes filii Israël sicut præceperat Dominus Moysi et Aaron.

BAN ⁵¹ Et il arriva que dans ce même jour l'Eternel fit sortir les fils d'Israël de la terre d'Egypte selon l'ordre de leurs armées.

KJV ⁵¹ And it came to pass the selfsame day, that the LORD did bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.
