DRB ⁴¹ Et Ésaü eut Jacob en haine, à cause de la bénédiction dont son père l'avait béni ; et Ésaü dit en son cœur : Les jours du deuil de mon père approchent, et je tuerai Jacob, mon frère.

KJV ⁴¹ And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob.

MAR ⁴¹ Et Esaü eut en haine Jacob, à cause de la bénédiction dont son père l'avait béni, et il dit en son coeur : Les jours du deuil de mon père approchent, et alors je tuerai Jacob mon frère.

DRB ⁴² Et on rapporta à Rebecca les paroles d'Ésaü, son fils aîné ; et elle envoya, et appela Jacob, son plus jeune fils, et lui dit : Voici, ton frère Ésaü se console à ton sujet dans l'espoir de te tuer.

KJV ⁴² And these words of Esau her elder son were told to Rebekah: and she sent and called Jacob her younger son, and said unto him, Behold, thy brother Esau, as touching thee, doth comfort himself, purposing to kill thee.

MAR ⁴² Et on rapporta à Rébecca les discours d'Esaü, son fils aîné ; et elle envoya appeler Jacob son second fils, et lui dit : Voici, Esaü ton frère se console dans [l'espérance] qu'il a de te tuer.
