BAN ¹ Je veux me tenir à mon poste et me placer sur un lieu élevé ; je serai attentif à voir ce qu'il me dira et ce que je répliquerai à la remontrance qui me sera faite.

KJV ¹ I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

BAN ² Et l'Eternel me répondit et dit : Ecris la vision et grave-la sur les tables, afin qu'on la lise couramment.

KJV ² And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

BAN ³ Car la vision attend encore son terme ; elle aspire à la fin et ne mentira point. Si elle tarde, attends-la ; car elle arrivera certainement, elle ne manquera point :

KJV ³ For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

BAN ⁴ Voici, celui dont l'âme s'enfle au-dedans de lui, il n'est pas dans le droit chemin, mais le juste vivra par sa foi.

KJV ⁴ Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
