Ha 2:1-4 (King James)

   ¹ I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. ² And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. ³ For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. ⁴ Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

Ha 2:1-4 (Segond 21)

¹ Je veux être à mon poste
et me tenir sur la tour.
Je veux veiller pour voir ce que l'Eternel me dira
et ce que je répliquerai à mes reproches.
² L'Eternel m'a répondu et a dit:
«Mets la vision par écrit,
grave-la sur des tables
afin qu'on la lise couramment.
³ En effet, c'est encore une vision qui concerne un moment fixé;
elle parle de la fin et ne mentira pas.
Si elle tarde, attends-la,
car *elle s'accomplira, elle s'accomplira certainement.
⁴ Il est plein d'orgueil, celui dont l'âme n'est pas droite,
mais *le juste vivra par sa foi.»
