KJV ² And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

LSG ² Il leur dit: Quand vous priez, dites: Père ! Que ton nom soit sanctifié ; que ton règne vienne.

KJV ³ Give us day by day our daily bread.

LSG ³ Donne-nous chaque jour notre pain quotidien ;

KJV ⁴ And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

LSG ⁴ pardonne-nous nos péchés, car nous aussi nous pardonnons à quiconque nous offense ; et ne nous induis pas en tentation.

KJV ⁵ And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves;

LSG ⁵ Il leur dit encore: Si l'un de vous a un ami, et qu'il aille le trouver au milieu de la nuit pour lui dire: Ami, prête-moi trois pains,

KJV ⁶ For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him?

LSG ⁶ car un de mes amis est arrivé de voyage chez moi, et je n'ai rien à lui offrir,

KJV ⁷ And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee.

LSG ⁷ et si, de l'intérieur de sa maison, cet ami lui répond: Ne m'importune pas, la porte est déjà fermée, mes enfants et moi sommes au lit, je ne puis me lever pour te donner des pains, -

KJV ⁸ I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.

LSG ⁸ je vous le dis, même s'il ne se levait pas pour les lui donner parce que c'est son ami, il se lèverait à cause de son importunité et lui donnerait tout ce dont il a besoin.

KJV ⁹ And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

LSG ⁹ Et moi, je vous dis: Demandez, et l'on vous donnera ; cherchez, et vous trouverez ; frappez, et l'on vous ouvrira.

KJV ¹⁰ For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

LSG ¹⁰ Car quiconque demande reçoit, celui qui cherche trouve, et l'on ouvre à celui qui frappe.

KJV ¹¹ If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?

LSG ¹¹ Quel est parmi vous le père qui donnera une pierre à son fils, s'il lui demande du pain ? Ou, s'il demande un poisson, lui donnera-t-il un serpent au lieu d'un poisson ?

KJV ¹² Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

LSG ¹² Ou, s'il demande un oeuf, lui donnera-t-il un scorpion ?

KJV ¹³ If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

LSG ¹³ Si donc, méchants comme vous l'êtes, vous savez donner de bonnes choses à vos enfants, à combien plus forte raison le Père céleste donnera-t-il le Saint Esprit à ceux qui le lui demandent.
