⁴² "Père, si vous voulez, détournez de moi ce calice. Cependant, que ce ne soit pas ma volonté, mais la vôtre qui soit faite." ⁴³ Et lui apparut, (venant) du ciel, un ange qui le réconfortait. ⁴⁴ Et, se trouvant en agonie, il priait plus instamment, et sa sueur devint comme des gouttes de sang, qui tombaient sur la terre.

⁴² Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. ⁴³ And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. ⁴⁴ And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
