¹⁸ L'Esprit du Seigneur est sur moi, parce qu'il m'a oint pour annoncer la bonne nouvelle aux pauvres ; il m'a envoyé publier aux captifs la délivrance, aux aveugles le retour à la vue, renvoyer libres les opprimés, ¹⁹ publier l'année favorable du Seigneur.

¹⁸ The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, ¹⁹ To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

¹⁸ L'Esprit du Seigneur est sur moi, c'est pourquoi il m'a oint pour annoncer l'Évangile aux pauvres; il m'a envoyé pour guérir ceux qui ont le coeur brisé; ¹⁹ Pour publier la liberté aux captifs, et le recouvrement de la vue aux aveugles; pour renvoyer libres ceux qui sont dans l'oppression, et pour publier l'année favorable du Seigneur.
